I stayed at the Grand Ovation with my family from July 21, 2014 until July 29, 2014. Mr. Al who handled the keys showed up 1 hour late. We were told our room was booked and we would get an upgrade. If you pay by credit card they will copy your credit card on both sides and also make a copy of your ID. I contacted management about this procedure and they told me that nothing was wrong with this procedure. Our so-called upgrade we would get had no internet, limited cooking supplies (pot and pans), cable TV had only part of the advertised channels, the apartment had a terrible cigarette smell. And last but not least the vertical blinds in the master bedroom were missing and we had the two curly towers looking in the master bedroom. We asked for a refund since we were down graded and were offered a 10% discount on our next stay. Of course we will never return. Good: Internet was back on the next day, pots and pans arrived four days later. Location is near shopping area. The promised fix of the vertical blinds never happened. These people do not take the word 'service' very serious.

The Grand Ovation Building is managed very well by Tridel. On site amenities are great, lobby, pool and gym are kept extremely clean. The down side of this building is the have a lot of independent contractors that rent out short term furnished accommodations under the guise of "executive rental suites". While I'm sure some of them are legit, North American Private Accommodations is not.
We arrived and were shown an extremely dirty suite and then told it was all that was left available. After a sleepless night on dirty mattresses and pillows we decided to leave. We were then told we would be charged a fee for cancellation and a fee for the night. In addition our 300 dollar deposit would be forfeited. So rather than lose a good majority of our fees, we stayed the duration of our booking. I'll let the pictures uploaded speak for themselves. If you are booking at Grand Ovation do not book with North American Private Accommodations!

I know the prices are tempting especially when we donno what we are landing into. We have never stayed in an condo unit for short term rentals and really going through all kinds of pains and terrible experiences living on these condo units.

There are multiple companies posing as if they are hotels but they are all independent owners or property managers who rent these units in travel sites with all fraudulent information.

They provide the basic toiletries and stuffs. Still word of caution with all the bitter experiences we had living for short term on these condo buildings are :

1. DONOT rent condos in general if you have young kids
2. DONOT rent condos in general if you have too many luggage
3. DO read properly all the Condo rules and understand your young kids follow them too
4. Be prepared to always run down the stairs whenever there is an fire alarm. Higher the unit is risk is more
5. Make sure you always read the fine print to see if there are any hidden charges or deposits
6. This is NOT hotel and it's actual condo units in high rise buildings. You will be liable for everything including any kind fire alarms, noise complaints etc.
7. Going down the basement to get car makes it worse especially during harsh weather conditions to even reach a nearby place around these areas. Especially if you forget the keys you need walk up on the ramp all the way upto ground.
8. Checkout times are strictly at 10.30 to 11 AM Early checkins sometime they will accomodate.
9. There is no guarantee even after you get confirmed reservation that the unit you are going to be assigned is same what you paid for. One or the other reason will be there for the unit non-availability and you will be forced to get into their other units on other buildings all together. Think of all the pains of moving your belongings with your family especially in this harsh winter weather.
10. Travel sites can't help you in any way if you have any issues with your units or your reservation and you will be at their mercy.

Overall it's good only for singles or couples who want to enjoy the high rise buildings, views and serenity in these areas. If you are a family you will be feeling like you are in a jail and will repent each and every moment of your stay. Please stay away from these properties and always book the hotels you know which are far better in terms of customer service even though you are paying little more if you need kitchen facilities. I have never faced any issues with any other normal chain of hotels and I really repent my decision to rent these units on this trip. Never again either I will rent or ever think of living in a high rise condo units in my life.

Just at the edge of Burnhamthorpe / Confederation Parkway, the suite at the 32nd floor offers an eagles eye-view to the friendly city of Mississauga. On the south you have the magnificent view of the Lake Ontario and on a clear day one can see the mist of the Niagara Falls too! And just below on the northern side of the balcony, the Celebration Square comes alive every evening!
Apart from the view, the building has all the amenities.
At the heart of Mississauga, next to the Square One mall, this should be an ideal place for a short term stay.
