The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was a nice variety of hot and cold foods. The lady who oversees breakfast was attentive to everyone's needs, and ensured that the tables were clean and food was replenished quickly. Even when we had to leave for the airport early and would have missed breakfast, she sent us on our way with fresh croissants! The front desk staff were accommodating and put family members in rooms close to each other when requested. The cleaning staff made up our rooms quickly when we were out and were cheerful. The fridge was a bit loud, but cold! The beds weren't bad but are probably ready for an upgrade. The hot tub is about the same temperature as the pool! But the pool and deck were nice and clean. The gym has a good variety of exercise equipment and I was the only person there every time I went! Overall, a good experience for a 9 night stay!

At the recommendation of an acquaintance, we stayed at this hotel over a weekend in January 2020. The price was reasonable and the room clean, although the common areas not so clean. The hotel could use a refresh - especially the common areas. The pool/hot tub was closed for maintenance issues. Two of the nights we stayed, the rooms occupied next to us were extremely loud with the noise lasting almost all night. The staff was courteous, although not particularly friendly. The location was perfect for us but with other hotels in this area, I'm not sure I would stay here the next time.

I flew into Toronto to attend a friend’s celebration of life. As I wasn’t renting a car, it was important to be relatively close to the facility where the celebration was to be held. The Admiral Inn, Mississauga, which was reasonably priced and included breakfast fit the bill. There aren’t a lot of near by amenities and I wouldn’t classify Mississauga as a particularly walkable city so having breakfast included was important. I was fortunate to have been given rides to and from the celebration so the location worked. The hotel itself is clean, the staff are very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast was filling. I’m sure, if you have a car, could this would be a good location from which to visit Mississauga and surrounding area.

I usually look at service and hospitality when rating any hotel before even assessing the amenities of it. For this hotel I must say that except for the Lady serving BF (Safi) everyone else was not up to any hotel staff standard code.
Since my arrival I stuck into a young gentleman at the reception who was not helpful at all, next day another older guy was very rude when I asked how to use the pool and if towels are provided inside which he confirmed in a dull way but once I had my clothes changed and entered the pool room he came running asking me not to enter unless I show him my vac. record, he didn't share that earlier but even though I would have accepted it even if he was talking in an nice way not making it look like a class conversation between a teacher and 5 yrs old kid.
Maintenance around the hotel needs a great revisit from rusty grills across the pool, huge air draft from emergency door of the swimming pool to old fridge with annoying sound at the room.
I can say the only add was the BF and open pool.
For the same price u can find a better room elsewhere in mississauga.

The hotel provided us a comfortable and spacious room and adequate bathroom. It had everything we needed including a nice kitchenette with a microwave, coffee maker and small fridge. Breakfast was a notch better compared to similar hotels. They offered hot food (potatoes, eggs, sausages, and waffle station) with the usual cereal, bagels, pastries and beverages.

Our experience with front desk personnel, however, was horrible. As we approached the front desk to check in, the receptionist smugly told us, “One minute,” without even the politeness of looking at us, as he was preoccupied with some documents. Despite being the only guests present, we were made to wait long enough for him to utter another rude “One minute” a few more times. When he finally turned to us, he was unpleasant and made no mention of having us wait. As is typical, he required my credit card and without any conversation, proceeded to charge the room fee and security deposit. I am sufficiently familiar with this industry standard, but expected a hotel of this stature to afford its guests the courtesy of letting them know what’s happening, and more so, how their card is going to be charged..

Repeat interactions in person and over the phone with front desk personnel were met with the same unaccommodating and unprofessional behavior, unfit to be at the frontlines of a hospitality business.

Overall, a comfortable room and stay, but if you’ll need to interact with front desk staff, it may be unpleasant.

1. Questionable code of conduct: An issue occurred during check-in and the front desk said they couldn’t find the reservation I made through booking.com. They guaranteed me a booking directly through the hotel with a different price and the booking on booking.com got cancelled. I signed a document as proof of my direct booking and I was charged for the night. One room was not clean so we had to stay outside for a while.

During checkout, the hotel changed their agreement and charged me a different rate saying it’s booking.com’s rate. I clarified that my booking was through them and that it’s no longer through booking.com. The receptionist was rude and denied me access to the documents I had signed during check-in and did not honour what I signed during check-in. He only showed us the documents when we insisted for a long time. It was my proof that the nightly rate was different from what I was charged during checkout.

2. Disrespect: I made an official complaint to the manager but, to my utmost surprise, the manager was even more rude and personally attacked me despite the email thread and discussions being clear and addressing the discrepancy in the agreement I signed. I can tolerate getting robbed, but I would never tolerate personal attacks. When I checked other reviews on Google and Booking, I realized that the manager attacks every person who gives them a low review. I wouldn’t be surprised if I got attacked because of this review.

Please avoid all branches of Admiral Inn unless you can guarantee that you will not be treated badly by the staff and/or management.

Totally impressed by the service of the front desk staff and the dining room staff! I am a reluctant traveller during COVID19 and was very impressed by how the COVID protocol was in place and practiced throughout the hotel...pool, dining area, elevators... All had clear signage in place, outlining their practices and expectations. The tables in the restaurant were well spaced. Everything on the buffet table was covered and had a person there serving us. She was lovely, and patient with my granddaughter making her decisions. When travelling with young children, I am always thinking about how they will be treated. Again, totally impressed by the interaction of the staff with her. That goes a long way with me. It's interesting reading other people's reactions! For us this was a fabulous experience!

Our recent stay was amazing... from the gentleman who checked us in on Friday night, to the lady on the desk Saturday morning and the breakfast staff! All were great. I was totally impressed with the COVID19 protocols! I was travelling with my 9-year-old granddaughter and really appreciated the way she was treated by the staff. This is a huge thing when travelling with kids! All was much appreciated.

We were given the option to have a cot for out baby. When we got there the staff said they don't have that option. Did not try to accommodate us at all. The room had a water leak from the ceiling and the carpet in the hallway was all wet. Out baby got wet by crawling on the carpet. We waited for an hour with a tiered baby for the staff to come and see the leak and give is a different room. Both rooms were dirty. Carpets not vacuumed in weeks. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls. The toilet was made for kids. The heat fan in the room was so load we couldn't sleep. The most horrible experience in a hotel anywhere!

Location is good, just off the highway. The traffic noise was minimal, but there was some loud humming vibrating noise heard throughout the day and night that was bothersome.
Daytime staff was great. The night guy didn't have much of a personality. I know you're not there for the conversation, but a smile and a greeting goes a long way.
Rooms are a good size and clean. Beds are comfortable.

No problem. Our 60 lb Aussie was most welcome. The pet friendly rooms are on the main floor, have tiled floors and exterior door access at end of hallway. Open field behind hotel, lots to explore and sniff. I would be sure to request a pet room when you reserve.
