This motel is in a prime location at the top of Clifton Hill and close to all the attractions (5 mins walk). We stayed for four nights and enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a two queen room that overlooks the outside patio area. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. We have stayed here several times in the past and we will keep coming back. Don't be afraid of negative reviews.....if you're not high maintenance you will be just fine staying here.

I've been here before and honestly, you get what you pay for. No it's not a Hilton hotel but at least it's a place to spend the night for cheap and considering the location (right in the heart of Clifton Hill) you can't go wrong. Yes it's a little outdated with the tacky furnitures and curtains but it's clean and cheap and it's no where near close to an experience at a hostel (if you've stayed in one before y'all know what I'm talkin about). So, if you want the luxurious experience with the fancy view of the falls and don't mind spending an arm and a leg there's a Hilton down the street. If not, this place is not too bad. Save the money for shopping! And..... casino? hehe :P

I got here after a 2 1/2 hour drive and was exhausted. I was desperate to get into my room and the owner kept interrupting me to go on his cell phone. You have to park across the road which is incredibly inconvenient. Wifi doesn't work, and got a total of 2 channels on my TV. The room has the bare necessities. A bed, crappy TV with no remote, bathroom, and 1
soap and 1 shampoo. The only saving grace was that it was very clean. But for $91, I am never going back.

The worst stay I have ever had in a hotel. Arrived at 3pm for check in and there is no parking. By 9pm we had to leave and drive back home because the room smelt so bad from the restaurant downstairs. The room was so small even though we booked the double queen room you could barely move in it. Complete waste of money!

It was the worst motel of my life! I saw some during my travels to Canada, USA and Cuba but this one is the worst!
The only positive point is that it is well located but I saw 3 hotels right next door that seemed perfectly nice and clean.
Probably a 3 star in India but for American or European residents, you will be surprised by the uncleanliness and odors present. I'm avoiding details because the comments left here represent what I observed too.
The owners are Indian and are good actors in pretending not to understand when it is explained to them that there are problems with the room or cleanliness.
We had booked a triple room but relocated without notifying me to a double room. I knew it was because of the critters present and that they had to decontaminate the place.
I doubt the positive comments left here... Probably left by fake people....
In short, if you want to have an unpleasant stay but save a few dollars, this place is for you! You will have the same thoughts as me: I should have listened to the negative comments and booked elsewhere!
Oh yes! Even when I moved to another room, we all came back with red spots on our bodies that looked like bites. Probably bed bugs?

right off Clifton Hill, very walkable. no visible cockroaches? HOWEVER, so dumpy. the bathroom was dilapidated and disgusting, bad wifi. surface clean but duty fixtures, walls, doors etc. bedside lamp didn't work. the staff from the Indian restaurant and a guest and the nighttime desk staff kept coming and smoking in front of our door and only window. six times I had to ask them to move. the staff just does not care over they get your $$. our daughter is allergoc to cigarette smoke and got very ill. it was a long night.

This hotel is outwardly quite dilapidated. However, this would not have been a problem if we hadn't woken up the following morning with horrible bed bug bites. We have not been reimbursed and the proprietors have largely ignored our calls - I doubt that we are the only guests to have been affected by bed bugs. I hope that others will come forward. FOUL.

ABSOLYETLY DISGUSTING!

First when I check in, I couldn't. No one was working at the front desk. I walk into the motel and up and down the hallways and no one to be seen. I went to the attached restaurant and no one in the restuarant knew where the check-in person was, even though they are owned by the same man. Come back a few hours later and the line is forming and he is checking everyone in. He (the owner) tells everyone "you like your room; very clean room". Im sorry, if you need to go out of your way to say that, there is something wrong! Which there was. We go to our room and find pills and burnt foil in one drawer and a condom package on the floor. I report this and ask for a new room and he wouldnt accomodate me. He said "his guy mustn't have cleaned everything".

We come back from a day of sightseeing and find the owner going up and down the halls and making us feel like we were being watched by a prison guard. Not fun!

The following morning, our check out date, I was going to open the door and I find the owner patroling the hallways and he sees me and comes over to my door, says 'do you have a dog?' while trying to open my room door! I put my foot down on the base of the door and held the door. First- there was someone changing in my room, second- thats rude! I said no and that I was packing and going to start to load up my car to leave. I couldnt pack up quick enough and get out of there!

I wouldn't even let my dog stay here!

I don't know where to start. When we entered the room the tub was full of undrained leaking water. They didn't give us any towels. Nothing in that room could have been newer than 1950, including the refrigerator. We couldn't access the Wi-Fi, and it was limited to 30 minutes even though it was advertised as free. The chain on the door was broken off, so we had no means of securing the door at night. The whole place had a funny smell. To contact the front desk to check in/out/get information we needed to call the manager's cell phone, which costs a small fortune in roaming fees with our American cell phone plan. We tried to check out a day early from our two day stay, but the manager would not refund our money.
