The Niagara Falls Marriott Fallsview Hotel & Spa garners accolades for its comfortable accommodations and breathtaking views of the falls, a highlight for many guests seeking a memorable experience. However, despite the hotel's coveted location, some visitors have expressed concerns over additional costs for promenade access. While the rooms are celebrated for their cleanliness and comfort, issues such as reservation snafus and unexpected charges have been a sore point. The service quality appears to be a mixed bag, with reports of both commendable staff interactions and instances of disorganization. Additionally, while the atmosphere is generally well-regarded for its comfort and space, critiques of dated decor and high prices paired with hidden fees suggest that the hotel's value proposition may not meet everyone's expectations.

Our family of four stayed in an executive suite for the weekend. The room had an excellent view of the falls, one of the best on the strip. There is a sitting room with a pullout sofa and large TV. The separate room was great for the kids to play in and watch their shows (we brought our Fire TV to plug in) while us parents chilled in the bedroom watching our preferred shows on the other TV.

As one can see by the date, our visit was during the COVID pandemic. Maid service was suspended to reduce staff contact with guests and we had to call down for a few extra towels when needed. They requested dirty towels be left in the hall. The hotel was kept very clean.

We used the pool twice and staff were always popping in to tidy up and keep towels well stocked. FYI the hot tub was closed due to COVID precautions and the hotel asks that only ten people be in the pool at a time. Because of this we had to wait once for some other guests to leave so we could take our turn. Not all guests were as considerate however and I would have liked the hotel to post guidelines for occupancy to reinforce safety protocols.

Dinner at the steakhouse was delicious and the kids portions were generous. Breakfast was a la cart and a little underwhelming. The restaurant was kept spotless though and the staff were friendly and did their best to keep guests socially distanced. They ask you wear a mask when a server or busser approaches the table. I wish all restaurants in Ontario enforced this rule to protect their staff.

Valet as noted by many is $45/night. Sunday, when we checked out at noon, no less than 25 other families were trying to get their cars at the same time, maybe more. I suggest at this busy time calling ahead around half an hour.

All-in-all we had a relaxing stay and a much needed getaway. I’ve always liked this hotel and would happily stay again soon.

First of all we found all the staff to be very friendly, professional, helpful and we wish them well especially during this time of Covid.

-This is listed as a 'Category 6' Bonvoy Hotel on their own system but it is only Cat 6 due to the View of the amazing Niagara Falls; especially if you can get a high floor 'falls view' room.

The room itself featured a nice 50+ inch LG HD Tv with capability of HDMI for our Fire TV stick.

No windows that open or balcony unfortunately (not like the Sheraton nearby) and so I noticed the in room air to get quite dry and we craved fresh air walks regularly.

We are a family of 3 including a 3yr old son so we just booked two queen beds and were upgraded one notch to 'superior queen fallsview room'. Note that 'suite night upgrades' are not available at this hotel as per the bonvoy/marriott booking app. I'm not sure that they even have suites actually come to think of it.

During Covid ... no pool, no exercise, no breakfast, no lounge (ETC) however they did offer $20 starbucks coupons per night so for our two nights we got $40. Note also that Starbucks pricing was inflated by atleast 30% over normal rates in Canada so your money is really worth a bit less however you can get a breakfast sandwich, fresh juice or hot drink and oatmeal etc so it's not that bad. SBUX in the lobby was open limited hours mornings until noon and some days 6-9pm (Thurs to Sun?). The hotel also had a restaurant for take out only but unfortunately it was another steakhouse (we don't eat meat).

As Niagara is a 'tourist trap' in some ways.. there is HIGH taxes here including some mandatory city tax on top of HST/GST. You can get free 'WeGo' tourist transit bus passes however and quickly ride down to the Table Rock Horseshoe falls location free of charge and save yourself $28 car parking so we took advantage of that.

Wifi worked good in the room.

Parking ..self park across the street at the other marriott.
EV charging for our electric car.. they had one dedicated Level 2 station over there inside the parking garage. Thanks ..but you need more I suspect.

Now's a great time to upgrade I think; if I was the owners..

We had two mini fridges in our room and yes for a hotel advertising at Cat 6 and with us being platinum elite; i'm surprised at how small the superior Queen fallsview room was although we were mostly okay with it except the dry air.

Also we had a fireplace and desk space for our laptop.

Room had a bathtub which our son enjoyed.

Sleep quality was good; no complaints.

Location: fantastic however you need to either take the bus or drive down to the falls as the city hasn't bothered installing a path/staircase in all these years.

Honestly for about the same price i'd rather stay back at the Sheraton by Clifton hill.

Out visit was for a very special occasion and they did not disappoint.
Check in was quick and easy and we had no problem getting an early check in. I also loved that there was no extra charge for Valet parking with in/out privileges.
I think you would have a hard time getting a better view of the falls from a hotel room. We had a falls view room on the 17th floor and it was a spectacular view
The room was very clean and the hotel appeared to be taking significant precautions for Covid.
Our room had very comfortable king bed, a nice jacuzzi tub with a stand alone shower, and my personal favourite, chairs setup just to sit and view the falls our your window.
We splurged on room service and our food was great. Steak was cooked perfectly, and the chicken sandwhich very good, fries were still nice and crispy and it was delivered very fast.
The price was a bit high for what I expected but seemed to be on par for other hotels that weekend, but still higher than prices I saw for weekends before and after.

I arrived last night Dec18-2020at the Marriot Fallsview on the falls this was to surprise my parents for their anniversary
Before I checked in I asked if the rooms sanitized as my father was on wheel chair
And I am a Marriot member
Made reservation from the central reservations and also advised Associate at the hotel superior Fallsview on the falls
Charge per night 130$ Plus 35$ parking I get to the room I find chewing gums every where on the Carpet and this is during Covid this was after they advised they cleaned and sanitized the rooms
Multiple request were made just for safety reason and requirements for the room so I move to the other Marriot Fallsview and spa property 10:30 at night
Next morning at the Marriot Fallsview hotel and spa we head down for breakfast the use pepper the steel was peeling and it cut through my thumb .. our server Susan was externally helpful
She called for help the Manager Natalie she brings in the bandaid and puts the same pepper bottle on the breakfast table not caring what happened
I request Susan our server to take it away as I didn’t wanted it on the table
So is Marriot is a place to recommend anyone to stay with their families .. NEVER!!!!!!!!! If you really want to make it special for your family and loved ones THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't sure how to rate this hotel as it has its positives and negatives. Hopefully this will help someone deciding. We stayed for 2 nights in a Fallsview, Junior Suite, Guest room, King, Sofa bed with large jacuzzi jet tub. The room was large, had a seperate room and an amazing view of the falls (9th floor) it was clean for the most part, had a fridge, a coffee maker and 2 bottles of water. No issues checking in or out as I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and getting more towels etc. Bed was comfortable. Loved having Starbucks in the lobby (although the prices are much higher than anywhere else)
The negatives/issues were that we paid extra to have a jetted jacuzzi tub and the jets did not work. And then the tub leaks water all over the floor and I mean large amounts of water, which I had to use all the towels to soak up every time we had a bath. Not fun having to clean that up and trying to not fall and hit my head on the floor as well.
The heating did not work very well and made a loud noise and very dusty.
Also we went to use the pool (hot tub closed/blocked off with tape as doing repairs) the pool was filthy and the one person washroom in there reeked of urine and did not even shut or lock properly. The towels they have for use there are also horrible and felt more like a kitchen towel and rough.
Parking $45-50/day!
Overall not worth the money for what we got.

We stayed on a friday night in late October. We booked the travelzoo package for two queen beds. We received a room on the 10th floor which had a great view of both the American and Canadian falls. The rooms were in good shape and the bathroom was quite nice, looks like they have been renovated recently. Our package included a $50 credit for dinner at Mortons. We dined at 7:30 and had a table by the window, great view and excellent service from Anna, we really enjoyed our meal. We also went for breakfast the following morning and you get a credit of $20 off your breakfast. We went at 8:30 and pretty much had the place to ourselves, the food was just ok. All in all, we had a great time and would come back to this hotel again when we could do more things. The only downside is the ridiculous cost of parking, which is $45 plus tax.

Very nice 1 night stay On 14th, clean, seems newly renovated. We mostly stayed in room just to get away from home and enjoy a view. And a beautiful one indeed and lights on falls at night are lovely. I should have brought binoculars. Due to covid coffee machine, drinking glasses, tourist book I assume, are removed, obviously the remote has to stay, a great surface for germs. There were no disinfectants wipes in room as stated on website, and we had already handled the remote, so here’s hoping it was wiped down along with other surfaces. Missed my early cup of coffee, thankfully there is a Starbucks in lobby, I’m sure they are doing well! Check in was speedy and friendly, elevators fast enough given adherence to social distancing. Found parking off site for 20 $,. 50$ is too much. Overall I can recommend.

I took my wife and 1 year old on a spontaneous mid week two night vacation. I had actually booked the Embassy first with a fallsview suite but after reading a lot of negative reviews we cancelled and booked the Junior King suite at the Marriott instead. I am SO glad we made the change. We couldn't stop looking out the window. We were on the 16th floor, and the room had a huge panoramic window that made for a view to die for. You could tell the room itself was updated fairly recently, it was very nice with two big TVs as well. The separate living space was great for putting the kid to bed earlier. We also took advantage of the whirlpool in the bathroom that was a very nice treat!

The check-in process was super quick and easy, we used the self park option that was just a short walk from the hotel. We also used the hotel pool that was empty while we were there that the little one loved.

If you're taking the trip to Niagara this is the hotel to go with, and it's absolutely worth the money to upgrade to the junior king suite!

I know any trips we take to Niagara in the future, this is where we'll be staying.

Stayed at the Marriott this past weekend where the weather was nice and warm. However, was disappointed with the so-called 'safety measures' the hotel claims to have.

1. Hardly any social distancing lines or rules set up for elevator wait in the lobby and elsewhere. Practically people were standing close to each other within 2m, no one was there to enforce social distancing and there doesn't seem to be any disinfecting done to hotel elevator buttons. For a classy and grand hotel like Marriott, you would expect them to go over and beyond in terms of safety and health measures but that was NOT the case.

2. Went to Morton's Grille for breakfast which is a restaurant within the hotel. Food was stale and sausages were tough/dry. Wasn't impressed with the food. Plus a service fee of 18% was charged even though the table only has 5 people when the menu clearly stated that parties of 8 and above will be subjected to service fee. This doesn't make sense and I questioned it but didn't get any appropriate answer on this.

3. Hand sanitizer stations are poorly maintained. Went to a few of them and tried it but the hand sanitizer ran out and no one replaced it. I had to point out to staff about it several times in order to get their awareness that it needs to be refilled. Can't believe this from a 5 star hotel.

Overall, the stay at this hotel was not what you envision or imagine it to be. It would be preferable for guests to stay away from this hotel until they have fixed up their "safety measures" during this situation.

This Is the worst and the worst of hotel ever in history, at least mine. This Marriott is not different from one of those cheap motels at the street corners. You are better off staying in a different hotel. The Marriot fallview and spa hotel price is too high and the service you get from the hotel does not worth the price nor you family vacation time and peace of mind. Rooms are very uncleaned, dirty and very dusty. Everywhere in the hotel both inside the rooms and outside has been neglected see pictures below. Don't fall for the view. The Marriott hotel fallview and spa by Niagara Fall in canada is one horrible hotel stay and has one of the worst customers service. If you choose to stay in the hotel. You will leave the hotel feeling dirty from all the dust and dirt you picked up in the rooms. The rugs are not vacuumed see pictures below, there are dust everywhere in the hotel even around the bed frames in the room. Rooms are not cleaned for the next guest. So you are provided with rooms with blood stained duvey, bedsheet and stained bed mattress. The bathroom floors in the room is very dirty and unclean refer to picture below. Wall papers on the wall in the corridors are swollen from heat or water stain and was not fixed. You can't even think of making yourself good coffee in your room. The coffee machine appears like its gone through the trash and dugged back up to be used in the rooms. Forget about making yourself good coffee in the morning. You will be visiting the hospital from contamination from your hotel room see picture of coffee machine below. The ceiling in the bathroom is very unkept and paint peeling off. Talk about the dirt and rust around the bathroom sink. The ceiling in the hall way are very unkept and left with hole for customers to see while walking through the hospital. Nothing about the hotel is worths your dim. Stay away or else you will go home sick from the bad management way of updating and taking care of their hotel room. See other people reviews about the hotel. I will give them zero star if it is possible. STAY AWAY
