Nestled in a prime location, the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel is celebrated by many for its accessibility to attractions and breathtaking views. While the rooms garner acclaim for their cleanliness and comfort, some guests have experienced issues with billing and temperature control. The lively atmosphere, complete with music and festivities, is a hit, though it may be too noisy for some. Service at the Sheraton ranges from exceptional to slow and inconsistent, which, coupled with hidden fees, has left a few travelers questioning the value. Despite these concerns, the hotel's amenities, including pools and dining options, remain a highlight for guests.

The stay itself was nice however, the room that we got had a leak in the ceiling and all my belongings got drenched including my AirPods that no longer work. I asked to speak to the manager who at the time was in a meeting so I settled for a business card so I could email them. I emailed them 3 times and I got no response at all. Not even an “I’m sorry for your inconvenience”, absolutely nothing at all. I won’t be going back to this hotel again.

Stayed here one night in a fallsview room with king bed, fire place and whirlpool. Check-in was quick and easy. There is a small parking area next to the entrance for people checking in. We opted for the self-park which was $39. It's a very short walk away, you don't even have to go outside. Our room was as expected, exactly as depicted on their website. The view was beautiful! The whirlpool was on the small side, meant for 1 person. We would of liked to use the coffee maker in the room but found a used coffee pouch inside. Who knows how long it had been there. Ended up going downstairs and grabbing coffee from Starbucks instead. The elevators were quite busy at checkout time. We were on a high floor so didn't wait too long, but did have to bypass a couple lower floors as our elevator filled up quickly.

Lord, where do I start? The best thing about this hotel are the staff. They were helpful and friendly. Our room faced the falls and it looked like it had recently received a makeover. It was spacious and clean. Here are some of the negative aspects of staying here; Parking $39 a night. Ridiculous when you are paying almost $400 nightly for a room. The restaurant is tired looking and needs a refurbishment. For $35, I expect a nicer brunch. It was extremely disappointing. They should reach out to The Sheraton in Puerto Rico for some advice on how to put on a decent spread. The waterpark was a bit of a fiasco. Not the staffs fault that someone did their business in the pool and they had to clear everyone out, but really, telling everyone they could go back into the water five minutes later? Not on my watch. They should have shut it down and properly sanitized it. The rest of the resort, with the exception of the lobby, looks like it is stuck in the nineties. Time to spend a few bucks on updating some of the facilities. Finally, the elevators. I felt like I was in some old hotel in Europe where you have to wait forever for the lift because only one person will fit in it. We stood and waited ages for the elevators during check out at 11 and it was ridiculous. Every elevator was full so there was a half an hour wait to get down to the lobby. I’ve never witnessed anything like this in a hotel. Not worth anywhere near what they are charging per night. As a Canadian who has travelled extensively around the world, I’m a little embarrassed that this is the best we have to offer tourists when they come to the Falls.

We were only here for 18 hours all in all but our stay was good. Hotel was very noisy at night with kids screaming and disrespectful people banging doors and having their tv up so loud to mask out other noises but this was not the hotels fault granted. Would recommend from the service received. Very clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful weekend. Had a high floor view of both falls. Room was nicely appointed, quiet, staff were very friendly and helpful. Only suggestion is if you are asking if we are celebrating anything .....we were celebrating major anniversary (asked when booking, and at reception), then do something nice. Don't ask if you are not planning to acknowledge it in any way. Parking and taxes are high, but they are everywhere in this locale. Nice stay, beautiful views.

We stayed for 2 nights (thankfully that’s all) at the end of Nov 23. Firstly, when we arrived at 5pm our room wasn’t ready. Unacceptable. I said ‘gosh are you full, why the delay?’ The response…. our cleaners just haven’t got to it yet. Again not good enough. Next question, ok so we have to wait for our room, is the bar or restaurant available? No they’re not open tonight. What? This is a well reputed hotel in a tourist town but your essential services aren’t actually open?! It became apparent very quickly that if you stay here at this time of the year you are fending for yourself. The town, and certainly this hotel, basically shut down over the winter. When my husband was trying to do some work the internet stopped working so he went down to reception. The young man at the counter implied it was my husband’s computer having the issue. When another guest also came down to reception to complain he realised there was a hotel issue with the internet but get this, he got my husband to speak to the help desk in India!!!! Um guys this is a Sheraton issue, not something my husband needs to be sorting for you. The staff were just ‘ok’, that is the 2 or 3 who were on. My advice Sheraton, if you are going to accept bookings you need to provide for those guests, you’re not a budget hostel!!!! The last straw that we laughed and laughed about and boy did it sum up our experience, was when we were walking back from our dinner out and looked up at the neon signs and there’s the Sheraton but no wait, the h is out of action so we just refer to it now as the Seraton, not kindly I might add. All that aside the room was actually quite good and the falls view sensational.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Sheraton Fallsview in January. The purpose of our trip was a family vacation to Clifton hill and the Niagara Waterpark. We traveled with our two children 1.5 and 3.5. We couldn't have chosen a better location and hotel for our stay!! *Sidenote: The Marriot Bonvoy app was amazing for check-in and check-out. I checked in remotely and went right up to the room with the mobile key ( I actually might have had to stop by the front desk to give a credit card for incidentals but I was able to connect with a team member via the texting option on our ride down and they fixed it up for me) - skipping the check in line up was amazing with the two kiddos- honestly game changer. Also loved the convenient option of being able to text message with the team throughout our stay- was really helpful. Pros: - Extremely convenient location - right at the bottom of Clifton hill, makes for a gorgeous view of the falls - Tons of amenities within the hotel - quick food options in the lobby and the attached marketplace (Pizza Hut, burger company, subway) which is nice especially with the kids. - Interconnects to the niagara waterpark so you don't even have to go outside (bonus in the winter months), also interconnects to a big arcade and Rain Forest Cafe. We purchased our waterpark passes through the hotel and it was 120$ for 4 passes for 2-day passes. Cheaper than buying on the waterpark website! - Rooms were gorgeous and clean. Room view was amazing. I also requested interconnecting rooms as we were travelling with two kids and this was granted with no issue. A rollaway crib was already placed in the room (as requested) upon arrival. - I've read reviews complaining about the elevators - we didn't find this an issue at all. Sure at certain points the elevators were busy, but we never waited more than a couple minutes for an elevator even on Saturday when it was at its busiest. - Parking was quick and easy. We pulled into one of the temporary spots right out front of the lobby while my husband unloaded our car and ran up our things to the room - we were offered either valet or off-site parking - we chose off-site parking and it wasn't far. Cons: - Indoor pool is on the smaller side and the temperature is cold. Anyone swimming (including children) were complaining how cold the pool was. Most kids had to go under the on-deck shower to warm up. Pool should be a minimum of 87 degrees in my opinion, especially in the winter. This was not the case. Please warm up the pool!! - My husband and I found the hotel quite loud at night. Not with people but by the building itself. For example, if someone was showering or had the water on above us it was very loud. Overall: We had an amazing stay and absolutely loved this hotel. We will be back and we will recommend this hotel to friends and family - thank you Sheraton Fallsview!

The staff was fabulous! The new Marriott App made it easy to chat with the service team and get whatever we needed. It was convenient. I could text them from the arcade downstairs or at dinner in Fallsview Dining or at 2am from my room and ask for a fan! Fallsview Dining: the service was exceptional! Our serve Ben, is always amazing! He gets to know your drink orders and out does himself for fantastic service. The food was ok. It was better the last time we went. I would hope that in the near future there is more options for people who have intolerances’ like gluten free and lactose free. There was only a small non-noticeable basket, unless you ask and they show you it, of gluten free items. Like a muffin and bread (not sure of the flavour). Friday night the pool area was horrible! There were towels everywhere made it really hard for me in my wheelchair to get through. Also the pool was very cloudy. You couldn’t even see the bottom. I message them and let know and they said they’d take care of it. Saturday night was much better. My suggestion is always find out what events are going on. How busy they are going to be this weekend was Hockey tournament weekend so tons of teams were down and it was busy at times. Especially waiting for an elevator, you’d be waiting almost 15 minutes each time (mostly in the evening). Overall, I’ll be back soon!

If you want to pay 30% in taxes, this is the place for you. When we said that we were local and didn’t want to pay their 17% tourist taxes, we were told that they were for amenities and would not take them off. When we stated that there was a cost for the water park, the casino made a profit by the minute as well as the arcade, we were told it didn’t matter. We then tried to get to our room on the 2nd floor. One elevator for 13 floors. When we asked directions to the stairs, we were told that there weren’t any. Checking out I was told that my parking was $30.00 more than quoted. Once again 30% taxes. Finally I dared to tell the check out female that I had been double charged for 2 coffees, she responded “I will go through all the receipts and if you actually paid for them, I will put your money back on your card”. She didn’t care that I could prove that I had paid and I haven’t gotten my money back yet. Worst place to stay. Save your money and stay close by where they don’t gouge you.
