The Wyndham Fallsview Hotel, while celebrated for its prime location near Niagara Falls and accessible to various age groups, has received mixed reviews. Guests commend the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the rooms, yet some have called out issues with hot water and maintenance. Although the hotel boasts contemporary renovations, there are remarks about dated decor.
Moreover, the value proposition is questioned due to high parking fees and unexpected additional costs. Despite the spacious rooms, concerns about inconsistent housekeeping persist.

Detailed Reviews
We set out for a two night gettaway to the Four Points Sheraton in Niagra Falls, Ontario. Prior to leaving home we were cautioned by a number of negative reviews written about this facility, but much to our surprise none of the negative aspects reported by other raters were part of our experience. In some ways, we should thank you for writing as it appeared that the hotel listened to you and acted on most of your concerns. We found staff to be friendly, responsive and helpful. Outdoor parking was well lit and well attended. The elevator service was clean and delayed only by covid regulations in limiting the number of passengers to two or one family. At the outset, our room appeared to be thoroughly clean and in compliance with covid standards. We were told at check-in that there would be no daily chambermaid service; however, if we needed to refresh our towels or replenish other in-room supplies, the front desk would run those up to us.
In closing, we appreciate that the Four Points by Sheraton in Niagara Falls is NOT a resort, but based on our experience, it can provide pretty good hotel accommodation at a reasonable price.

I Booked 2 rooms for a girls' night out. I had booked a King room and 2 Queen but at check-in, we were given the room with the King and the receptionist denied that I had booked the king even when showing the booking. Meh, it didn't really matter. We got our rooms beside each other in the end but not adjoining but that's fine I didn't make that request in my booking.
We had what looked like an updated room, at least it was updated from my last stay a year ago. Room was clean and comfortable.
I love this hotel because you don't really have to go outside. Lots of live entertainment in lounges and restaurants of the Hilton with an indoor connection. Also the indoor Connection to the casino resort with shopping and food court. All this is great in the winter because you don't have to carry a bulky coat everywhere.
Parking at the Casino is my go-to because you only pay when you leave and at whatever rate it is at that time. The rate does fluctuate but if staying more then one night it beats paying $20-40 per night at the hotel. Also if playing at the casino get the players card and you will probably not end up paying for parking. I never do. The parking lot of the casino has an indoor connection to the hotel.
Down Side.
We stayed on the 7th floor and we had elevator issues. the door would just open and close continually. Thankfully an employee showed us a trick to the elevator.
Overall one of my favorite places to stay. It's not to fancy but if you are not really spending time in your room what does it really matter?

I was 4th in line to check in but there was only 1 person working the front desk. I asked the lady if there anyone else who can help her & she said no. Needless to say, it was a lengthy wait.
The room was clean & spacious but the supplies were not replenished. There were 1 pack of regular coffee, 1 pack of sugar/cream, 1 plastic cup in the washroom & about 4 tissues in the box. At other hotels, if the tissue box is almost finished, they usually leave a new box in the bathroom. No here or this time.

Dear Trip Advisor Member, Please accept our sincere apologies for the long wait at check-in. This is not our usual standard of service, and this will most certainly be discussed with the front office manager. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We do hope that you will visit us again in the near future. Have a great day!

Stayed here last night. Our bathroom and tub were dirty, dusty, hair left in the tub and on the floor. Their hotel policy clearly states each room is disinfected after each visit and this was obviously not done. We came back from a long day our In the heat and we’re not able to even take a shower. The manager said that since we had checked in early and had the room for so many hours they couldn’t confirm that we didn’t mess up the washroom even though we were out all day. (Basically calling me a liar)
I travelled with 3 little kids And the receptions solution was to have someone come at 11pm to take a look while we would have to leave the room! When I asked where we were supposed to go late at night they didn’t even offer me a new cleaned room. Spoke to the manager and they were unwilling to offer any compensation or even take me seriously. I would definitely NOT stay here if you prefer a clean room/washroom or if you take covid rules and disinfection policies seriously. Absolutely rediculous.

The location of this hotel is good. Right across from the casino. Lots of places to eat within walking distance. Clifton hill was about 15 minute walk away. The room did smell musty probably because of the old carpet. Staff were very attentive and prompt to bring us a rollaway bed and body wash when it ran out. Only drawback was that the pool was closed due to covid restrictions. Park across the street at the casino parking if you are planning to stay 2 nights or longer because once you enter the parking lot from the north entrance you will only be charged $25 for the duration of your stay in covered "indoor safer" parking. For example, we stayed 2nights, 3 days and ONLY paid $25 CDN including tax upon exiting!

Wow. Of all many stays in a hotel, I have never experienced such unorganized and ridiculousness such as this.
Not only did we need to switch rooms, but 3 times!?
See below for details but I can comment on the rooms themselves as well. The layouts are all not standard and very odd. Like one of the rooms had the tv on the work desk on the side of the room, which cannot be easily viewed from the bed nor the couch. Also pillows extremely soft. Glad I brought my own.
So...Our original room, the door did not lock from the outside due to the failure of the battery in the card reader. This concerns me from a security perspective. Is this not proactively monitored and maintained? Could my door just spontaneously be unlocked?Â
We did not want to wait for a maintenance person to come as we had dinner and a show to catch and asked to switch to another room.
The 2nd room was the King whirlpool suite. Although there was a nice whirlpool bathtub in the room, there was no privacy for the bath (like not a seperate room with walls) and no ability to shower (no shower head or handheld). This doesn't work.
When we asked to switch rooms (again) the desk staff also seemed surprised at the lack of shower in the room. Shouldn't they be more knowledgeable about the rooms they are assigning.
The 3rd room, when we went to open the door, there was someone already in the room! It gave my 74 yr old mother such a scare her heart was beating so fast she felt like she almost had a heart attack! How can this happen!
Our 4th and final room was successful and the manager personally came to check it for us. 1 hr later. But like almost no empathy from the 3 ppl we walked to. I think they apologized 1x. Offered us complimentary bottles of wine which never arrived.
I was questioned at check out as to how I got a room on the 14th floor (where a group was staying) which seemed really in appropriate.Â
Despite all this it is a great location with access to parking casino and restaurants all in adjoining buildings. But, yeah, not staying in this hotel ever again.

Pros:
The location is good, it’s connected by tunnels to the casino and lots of entertainment, and there are lots of places within walking distance. Check in was quick, valet was easy, huge and fast elevators (at least bank C). The room was pretty clean, it’s a big room and mostly everything was great. We had a good night’s sleep. There’s a big jacuzzi and free WiFi. We stayed in the king jacuzzi room for about $100 US for a quick get away, and you can get a deal with the comedy club. As far as using the $70 coupons to go to Ruth’s Chris? Save your money and go next door to the Hilton to the 33rd floor and check out their restaurant Watermark.
Cons:
The multiple elevator banks and twisty turns all over make navigating the lobby a bit complicated. There were two things that were a little dirty: the tile floor seemed smudgy and the sink counter had some stuff on it. We requested extra pillows through the Marriott site while booking and then again that night, and they never came. At first we couldn’t figure out how to darken the room but finally we realized there were roll down shades, which are very uncommon, so we weren’t looking for them! The jacuzzi fills extremely slowly with tepid water, so cool that we used the ice bucket to add hotter water from the sink to expedite the filling.

I was apprehensive about staying at this hotel after my cousin blindly booked it with her points and we started reading the reviews. We went in expecting the worst and I was ready to book at a different hotel just in case. However, when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is not the dumpster fire so many reviews had claimed it to be.
I read so many negative things about Front Desk. Many people took issue with how young the staff were and equating it with being unprofessional. The person who checked us in was pleasant and informative. There was no confusion on which bank of elevators to use, the adjoining restaurants, how to access the casino via bridge, etc. The check-in process was quick and without issue.
For convenience, we chose to park directly in front of the hotel for $70. There is a $25 option in a lot across the street. It was dark and mucky out, so we opted for what was closer.
To access the 14th floor, we were directed to use the Bank B elevators. The only downside was that one of the two elevators were not working. However, the wait was not too long.
The room I stayed in was 1415. The room is a standard King room. The room was clean. The temperature was easy to be changed, if needed. The room could have benefited with more lighting, but the lighting was adequate.
Bathroom was clean. It was supplied with extra towels, as requested. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash was provided in dispensers, not single-use plastic containers. This room had a shower/tub combo. Not my fave, but not a dealbreaker. There were no mold issues.
The room had a King bed and a sofa that I think pulled out into a sofa bed. The linens were clean and the mattress was very comfortable. The room also had a mini fridge, microwave and coffee/tea maker. There were plenty of outlets by the bed to charge your devices.
Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Room was clean and the staff were helpful and nice. The vending machine ate our coins and without question they did not charge us for them. The only negative thing I'd say was the wait time on the phone to reach the front desk was long. But, I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was terrible. The desk staff here are extremely slow and not helpful at all. We had a group booking of 12 rooms. The person in our group that arranged the booking with Yuki Watanabe was put in the smallest room. Also when she was finally able to check in there was a used vibrator in her room. That's right a used vibrator. When asking the front desk about the situation we were told we had to deal with the group booking person we talked to which only works monday to Friday. When she was able to talk to this person to resolve this they offered her a 25 dollar rebate. Are you kidding 12 rooms and you can not comp a person's room that had a used vibrator in it. This is discusting and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone

There is. It’s about 15 step walk. Good luck staying at the hotel (your going to need it).
Sorry, just saw this message and I don't know the answer.
Sorry just saw this message. The hallway to the casino is on the main floor where you check in. There are also a few restaurants, coffee shops there. Dont know about smoking.
We just had a room with King size bed, no jacuzzi etc. We did have a nice view of the Falls that was pretty at night.
