The B&B is very clean. They ask that you remove shoes on entry and provide slip-on house shoes while there. Tea and coffee is available 24 hours and there Is a hot water pot in the room as well. Don't expect an American breakfast but it was DELICIOUS. We absolutely loved it. Great value if you enjoy a unique experience.
We were greeted by the friendly landlord and were shown to our rooms.
Each room that we had included an en-suite 3 piece bathroom.
The rooms are nicely appointed and fairly spacious. The mattresses were very comfortable, firm and supportive. Each of our rooms had a TV mounted on the wall with full TV service.
If you want to enjoy breakfast here, it’s a mere $5.00 per person, must be ordered when checking in, and is highly recommended and a terrific value at $5.00 per person. No second helpings. There are a few options available if you have certain preferences.
The house is 140 years old and the interior is beautiful, with wood frames around all windows, a few stainglass windows are installed, and the assortment of plants which are carefully maintained help to purify the air (not that it needs it).
Book early, book often for a excellent stay and great value.

There was nobody onsite and that's very unusual as well. The host is supposed to be friendly and welcoming. He wasn't even there until it came time to collect the money!
He also didn't speak English. That's very hard when you have problems or concerns to address. I think he should take an English as a second language course. Not to sound rude, but it's one of our two national languages! Guests aren't expecting to have to use translation apps to translate to Chinese. It made the stay uncomfortable and awkward for me.
