Both Donna Lee and Matt are extremely engaging and wonderful hosts. Their attention to detail is second to none in the B&B industry....and we don't say this lightly. We've stayed in many B&B's and this experience was #1 overall. The room was immaculate, spacious and supplied everything you need, and more than you need. The breakfast on the both porch both days was excellent, fresh, fulfilling, and more than adequate. To the point that you debate whether lunch was even necessary. We were not the only guests and could easily see their level of engagement with all their guests was warm and friendly almost as if you had known them for much longer than the couple of days you are fortunate to spend with them. Their knowledge of the area and the late 1700's history of the Butler family were well worth the discussion and the subsequent self-tour we embarked on to find those historical landmarks in the area. All that and an evening walk to see the fire flies in abundance that Matt informed us of. Well Done Butler Creek House Bed and Breakfast ! This is likely not the first time and certainly not the last that you'll hear you've won more loyal customers. Rob and Diane :) We'll be back without a doubt.

The hosts are very nice and understanding. The bacon was amazing and Donna Lee and Matt were extremely friendly and helpful and told us all the best places to check out. They were even nice enough to give us some gifts to take home! You will enjoy staying here.

Welcoming owners, very friendly. Breakfast was fantastic…don’t bother scheduling lunch!! Garden room was fantastic with a small private balcony great for a glass of wine overlooking the back garden. Rooms are very nicely decorated. We have already booked again in August. Thanks for the hospitality

Beautiful, spotless, quiet & homey with perfect breakfasts: Donna-Lee & Matt have thought of everything to make a stay just exceptional. Located just outside the Main Street and shops of NOTL, this B& B is on a quiet side street. We visited on a cool weekend and chose to drive but on a sunnier day it would be a nice walk downtown. From the moment you come in and are warmly greeted, the owners make you feel both at home and respect your privacy. The home is set up so you have your own entrance from the main vestibule with passcode entry. The suite had everything we needed - even an extra toothbrush, which we had to take advantage of. And the little touches made the stay very special. We even got a little Halloween treat left for us!! For anyone worried about COVID- this was set up perfectly. Even the little table in the suite was set up to have a private in room breakfast delivered to our door. The breakfasts themselves were just delicious. Perfectly prepared, the bacon on the side was what all the other reviewers said- “the best bacon ever”! We definitely can’t wait to come back here!!

Cheryl! "Best B&B" thats quite the compliment, Thank you!!!! So nice to hear that you enjoyed your time in our home and in our town! Definitely some weird times through Covid... so it's reassuring to hear from guests that you felt so comfortable here. We take great pride in offering the freshstart.pro disinfection system for your benefit and ours. It's an excellent walking town so you will just have to come back for another visit someday! And there's no official way for us to do this but we'd like to give you a 5 star review as guests ***** it's good folks like you that make doing this so worth it! Stay safe, Matt & DL

Just to say a big thank you to our hosts and owners Matt & Donna Lee for a wonderful stay at the Butler Creek House. We cant speak highly enough about the place, everything was just perfect, room, hosts, service, breakfast help & advice. After day one we were already planning our next trip to stay at the Butler Creek House need I say more. I sincerely hope that during these testing times that Matt & Donna Lee manage to weather the storm and stay open. Until next time thanks again Steve & Sherry - Brantford, Ontario.

Steve & Sherry, It is always the best reward for us to be considered for a second visit, especially by guests as nice as you! Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review and for appreciating the vulnerability our operation is in right now. I also want to underline to travel shoppers the importance of taking the time to make that one extra click to book directly with the property you're looking at online like Steve & Sherry did. Don't be misled by multi million dollar tv ad campaigns suggesting that you're getting the lowest price. Often if you book directly you will get a better price. Safe Travels Matt & Donna Lee
