Detailed Reviews
Hosted by Matt and Donna Lee this picturesque B and B is situated in beautiful Niagara on the Lake. They offer three clean and beautiful rooms with private washrooms, large Queen or king size beds (depending on the room), scenic views and security programmable locks for each door. They were extremely friendly and welcomed us into their home with open arms. I would highly recommend contacting either Matt or Donna Lee for more information or check out their website for awesome photos!

We spent a few nights here at the Butler Creek House and it was epic and memorable thanks to our gracious hosts, Matt & Donna Lee. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time and we certainly did. The location is perfect where you can go on an adventurous nature walk, adjacent to their beautiful B&B, where we spotted fireflies in the forest. There are also nearby places to eat that are conveniently walking distance. The rooms were very clean and cozy. The food was delicious and we appreciated eating the local organic fruits for breakfast. We highly recommend this place run by amazing people :)

Right? Those fireflies this year were insane! The most we've seen ever, and they lasted for weeks. Must be something about a healthier spring with so much industry shut down. Opening back up in-Covid was tricky and we are extremely thankful to you for being one of our earliest guests to be brave enough to stay with us. Thank you, thank you, for your kind and generous review and we hope to see you again someday.

Both my wife and I stayed for 3 nights at Grand Georgian Suite of Butler Creek House last week. The hosts Matt and Donna are incredible, kind, caring and knowledgeable folks who have made our stay extremely comfortable and warmly welcoming.
The Grand Georgian suite was large, king sized bed, well heated, had jacuzzi tub, large bathroom, plenty of closet space, provided fresh milk or real dairy cream for coffee, the coffee grinds for drip coffee maker, even little chocolates as part of welcome gift bag. The amenities were amazing, including premium shampoos and conditiners, ladies's sanitary wears, a mini fridge, various sized towels and premium crystal wine glasses, more than enough cutlery, kettle, teas etc etc etc etc..
The location is very quiet and the home backs into a creek forest. Suite decor is welcoming and warming with internationally sourced items from South East Asia.
Donna and Matt provded every reasonable extra we have requested immediately.
The rates are very reasonable when compared to several other places in Niahara On The Lake.
The room has a Menu book of select handful of good rated restaurants and prices. This was very helpful to us.
Thank you Matt and Donna. We will certainly be back again to stay at your amazing, cozy place. Both my wife and I stayed for 3 nights at Grand Georgian Suite of Butler Creek House last week. Beautiful, characterful home so we’ll set up and prepared for guests. Everything spotless and they supplied everything you needed including items you may have forgotten to pack. A good walk from Main Street but we’ll worth it as it winds through charming neighborhoods. Hosts work hard to make you welcome.

The Butler Creek House. Great place. We had the Grand Georgian Suite. The suite is well appointed with separate [well appointed] bath room, sitting/breakfast room and king bedroom. Includes a refrigerator with chilled water and coffee maker with cream and sugar in the frig. There is plenty of closet space. The owners had every conceivable convenience item ready for us. Fabulous location too.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Creekside Room for 3 nights. Our hosts, Matt and Donna Lee were so welcoming and gave us great information on all there was to see in the area. They made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. The charming BnB is located 5 mins. from downtown on a quiet residential street right next to a park. Our spacious room was spotless, beautifully decorated and very well appointed. The daily fresh milk and cream in the fridge and even eco-friendly freshly filtered bottled water were welcome added little touches. We've stayed in BnB's all over the world and this one is a 10 on our list. We will be back and would highly recommend Butler Creek House.

If you are lucky enough to reserve a room. Do it. Hosts Donna and Matt are wonderful and caring people who want their guests to have an enjoyable and relaxing experience. Stayed for 2 nights in the Garden balcony suite. It's fabulous. 2 adjoining rooms with a lot of space. It was a girlfriend getaway for 2 of us but easily could have brought 2 more people. Perfect for 2 couples sharing or family of 4. TV in each room with netflix. Extremely thoughtful touches. Hairdryer and curling iron, shampoos, soaps, coffee, tea, bottle of wine, water, mini fridge, balcony with 2 chairs. Peaceful neighborhood and beautiful home. Keyless entry. We were served breakfast on the beautiful front porch. I was full all day and could barely eat dinner. Fresh fruit, coffee, juice, fruit, pancakes, eggs, bacon, yogurt, granola. List goes on!
Seriously, this is a wonderful place and I would absolutely recommend it 100%. Would love to go back with hubby next time.

Both Donna Lee and Matt are extremely engaging and wonderful hosts. Their attention to detail is second to none in the B&B industry....and we don't say this lightly. We've stayed in many B&B's and this experience was #1 overall. The room was immaculate, spacious and supplied everything you need, and more than you need. The breakfast on the both porch both days was excellent, fresh, fulfilling, and more than adequate. To the point that you debate whether lunch was even necessary. We were not the only guests and could easily see their level of engagement with all their guests was warm and friendly almost as if you had known them for much longer than the couple of days you are fortunate to spend with them. Their knowledge of the area and the late 1700's history of the Butler family were well worth the discussion and the subsequent self-tour we embarked on to find those historical landmarks in the area. All that and an evening walk to see the fire flies in abundance that Matt informed us of. Well Done Butler Creek House Bed and Breakfast ! This is likely not the first time and certainly not the last that you'll hear you've won more loyal customers. Rob and Diane :) We'll be back without a doubt.

We stayed at Butler Creek house four nights. The hosts, Donna-Lee and Matt, were extraordinary. We were welcomed like they cared about us having the best experience in the area. They went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable in their home. Definitely the best B&B we ever stayed at. They provided all the info on the Niagara on the Lake area we needed: vineyards, wineries, restaurants, activities, theatres, etc.
We appreciated the small touches in the room, the place was spotless and very well equipped. But best of all was their joviality and smiles.
Thank you so much for a fabulous stay at your place and for making our visit to NOTL memorable.

If your looking for a first class B&B in Niagara-On-The-Lake, this is it. The host's Donna Lee and Matt have done an amazing job with this property. Everything is first class.
The place is immaculate and our room on the main floor was beautifully decorated. Everything you need for a wonderful stay is supplied. There is a beautiful seating area on the front porch and in the garden area for enjoying your morning coffee or afternoon wine. We highly recommend Butler Creek House.
