We had a lovely stay with Cathy & Colin - who are great hosts and took good care of us. Breakfast is a treat at the table with the other guests and then conversation with our hosts. A lot of The rooms are comfortable and quiet, close to the Shaw and the Queen St strip and you can walk pretty much anywhere. Restaurants are nearby and Cathy had some excellent recommends.

Cathy & Colin were warm and engaging hosts. Their home is beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained. We regularly attend the Shaw Festival and this is our first choice for next year’s stay. We could easily walk to any of the Shaw theaters or a variety of restaurants. Breakfast was a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Our room was comfortable and quiet. I couldn’t ask for more.

My wife and I stayed at this bed and breakfast establishment in Niagara-on-the-lake for three nights in May on the second leg of our Ontario road trip. We arrived early afternoon and were met by Cathy who gave us the warmest of welcomes and showed us to our second floor ensuite bedroom. Our room had a view over the very quiet road. There was a lot for us to park our car and it was smoothly paved to the house which made it easy to wheel our suit cases. There was a double bed provided with quality sheets. It was a comfortable bed with a supportive mattress. With a large wardrobe and a chest of drawers there was ample capacity to store clothes for those staying for a longer period. In the dining / sitting room there was a refrigerator for storing chilled foods, such as picnic provisions, as well as a kettle with a variety of teas for making hot drinks. We found the room to be at a comfortable temperature - it was good to be open a window for fresh air and to hear the bird song in the neighbouring trees. The ensuite bathroom was spacious, comprising a spa bath with shower over, a sink and toilet. Towels were soft and fluffy and there was a shower gel dispenser if needed. We found the breakfast offer to be very interesting and wholesome. We started off with a variety of freshly baked muffins. There was a large bowl of fresh fruit salad - berries and melon, followed by a hot dish - a light quiche / flan one one day and stuffed French toasts on the next. These was a selection of preserves. Breakfast was an opportunity to chat to fellow guests - it was served at 8:30 am which gave us plenty of time to get ready and head out for the day. Our hosts were very pleasant and we enjoyed talking to them immensely. The property is beautiful with so many homely touches. We are so glad that we stayed here - both for the comfort of staying in such a wonderful home, but also for the convenience of being able to walk a couple of blocks into the main part of town or as a base to drive into Niagara Falls which is about a 30 minute drive away.

This was the first time that I have stayed with Cathy and Colin. I am grateful that I found them in Niagara on the Lake. I was there for six nights. Gracious hosts, delicious food, and beautiful home. Their location is ideal for shopping and going to all of the Shaw theaters. I made my reservation for next year!

Thank you Cathy And Colin for the warm and generous hospitality you shower your guests with! I especially appreciated the delicious gluten and dairy free options available at breakfast! The room was beautiful and clean, the bathroom spacious and comfortable. The distance to the main street in Niagara-on-the-Lake is very short. Thank you again!

Had a great stay. Cathy was a great host. From a very warm reception ( we were the 4 to 5 A & A) to an excellent breakfast. Always felt valued and never rushed which is especially appreciated at breakfast. Great location, spotless room. 100% likely to return

First time to Canada and were highly recommended to stay in Niagara on the lake in a bed and breakfast. We had the best time with Colin and Cathy and they served us a delicious healthy breakfast! Everything was clean and lovely. Walked easily to Main Street, the lake and surrounding parks! Highly recommend and look forward to returning to the Antique Slumber for sure. One night was a bit of a teaser in such an amazing place! Thank you so much Colin and Cathy.

Lovely home and warm friendly hosts. The room was spotless! After the theatre we had a relaxing evening with some wine in the hot tub in the beautiful backyard. Cathy makes a yummy breakfast! You can't beat this location for the theatre and restaurants..
