Detailed Reviews
My friend & I had a Delightful experience in Niagara-on-the-Lake, 1/2 hour north of the Falls (Canadian side). And staying at this B&B was a big part of that fun experience.
Our hosts, Cathy & Colin Fowler were SOOO warm, helpful & FULL of great information, and this helped make our week's vacation very special: they gave us a Fun & informative map of their town, made recommendations when we asked for their advice, etc.
Our B&B was literally 2 blocks walking distance to Queen Street, the main street with quaint shops, art galleries, souvenir shops, and, restaurants galore ! Plus, if you're a wine lover, this area has tons of wineries to visit (close to 40 ! ) AND, if you enjoy George Bernard Shaw's plays, this little town has two theaters !
Also, our hostess, Cathy, is a phenomenal cook (...my taste-buds thought of her as a chef !) = ) Each morning she started our day with a hearty, 3 course breakfast ! In addition, she graciously accommodated our food allergies, including Gluten & dairy issues. (just let her know ahead of time). And talking about time, breakfast is served AT 8:30. So if you're not a morning person, just let her know the evening before.
Every morning, towards the end of our meal, the two of them would come & join everyone at the breakfast table, which was a Fun & Informative way to begin the day!
One last thing: they have a really nice hot tub on the back deck (they supply towels). Having artificial hips, I didn't plan on using it, because the traditional hot tubs have to be climbed over to get in & out. But Colin created this one so it sank down, and only the top part of the hot tub was visible. Which meant all I had to do was sit on the edge of the hot tub (maybe 18" off the floor of the deck), and slide in. Getting out would have been easier than the average hot tub also. But not knowing this, I didn't pack a swim suit, and therefore did not use it, even tho his design is brilliant !

We had a lovely stay with Cathy & Colin - who are great hosts and took good care of us. Breakfast is a treat at the table with the other guests and then conversation with our hosts. A lot of The rooms are comfortable and quiet, close to the Shaw and the Queen St strip and you can walk pretty much anywhere. Restaurants are nearby and Cathy had some excellent recommends.

Cathy & Colin were warm and engaging hosts. Their home is beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained. We regularly attend the Shaw Festival and this is our first choice for next year’s stay.
We could easily walk to any of the Shaw theaters or a variety of restaurants. Breakfast was a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Our room was comfortable and quiet. I couldn’t ask for more.

We had a great 2 nights at this cosy b&b. The highlight was breakfast…all homemade by Cathy & delicious. Cathy & Colin’s hospitality was second to none and they were very knowledgeable about the area. A great location to visit Niagara Falls and the local wineries. We also thoroughly enjoyed the carriage ride around the town.

This was the first time that I have stayed with Cathy and Colin. I am grateful that I found them in Niagara on the Lake. I was there for six nights. Gracious hosts, delicious food, and beautiful home. Their location is ideal for shopping and going to all of the Shaw theaters. I made my reservation for next year!

Probably an OK place but notwithstanding reservation confirmations from both bookings.com and proprietor Kathy, the reservation was withdrawn allegedly because she had neglected to note a reservation made months before. And she wanted me to straighten out bookings.com by cancelling my reservation.

I thank-you for your comments. Unfortunately all hotels, restaurants, airlines, Dr. Offices, B & B's etc. get overbooked or mistakes made. Within an hour of your booking we apologized and suggested two other B & B's comparable to mine, some establishments wouldn't have even done that. Yes I asked you to cancel your booking as all booking agents require the client to cancel; they will not accept it from the establishment. Unfortunately you can’t please everyone. Our reputation speaks for itself. Hopefully you found something to your standard.

We stayed in early July just for a single night as part of a family roadtrip. Oh how we wish we had stayed longer. This is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in, and we have travelled extensively.
Cathy and Cole are so friendly, it almost seems unreal, but they are genuinely friendly and welcoming, without overdoing things and making you feel awkward.
The rooms are simply delightful, the breakfast second to none, and the overall experience one that we will definitely be returning to Niagara on the Lake to revisit.
Absolutely outstanding accomodation.

Hosts are most affable and the location is grand for walking into town or visiting any of the Shaw Fest venues. Breakfast is one choice, no options, eat it or starve. Breakfast is at 9AM; if you want to get out early or later too bad that is not an option. First floor room was large with good sized bathroom and if you like noise you can enjoy the footprints of the guests staying above you as they trek around their room.

Perfect location, accommodations and hosts. My wife and I went with another couple and had an absolutely wonderful time. You can easily walk downtown to a myriad of shops and restaurants or take a short drive to the wineries. The hot tub is a nice bonus. We highly recommend Antique Slumber .

We had a wonderful 2 nights at the Antique Slumber B&B. The location was perfect for walking into downtown and the accommodations were great. Kathy and Cole are wonderful hosts, who know all about the local area, were accommodating to our needs, and make a fantastic breakfast! Will stay here again next time we are in the area!
