From the smiles and helpfulness of Paige, Desiree, Robin, Jayne and Derick we had a great stay. They took care of us with helpful dinner recommendations to easy check in. The quality of the room was nice and very clean. The breakfast in the morning is good! Thank you and we will come again.
Zero complaints about this facility! Our hockey team group booked 20 rooms here recently and we were all very pleased with this hotel. Rose was very helpful with the reservation process and check-in was seamless. The hotel was very clean, quiet, with a good variety of complimentary breakfast options. Parking was free with lots of spots. Close to the outlet mall and a few restaurants. Would certainly stay again,
Not in Niagara on the Lake, but quick access to both and to outlet mall and casino. Friendly , helpful staff, clean modern rooms with great shower and beds comfy! Breakfast good and sometimes busy, with a good choice of items hot and cold. Would stay there again.
We booked this hotel because it said Niagara-on-the-Lake. It is nowhere near the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. It is halfway to Niagara Falls. If you were expecting the picturesque town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, you will be disappointed. As far as the hotel amenities, it is your average Holiday Inn. It did have a pool. The free breakfast was good - lots of variety - hot and cold. This hotel is pet friendly but if you don't want to hear barking dogs, ask for a room on the third floor or above.
Stayed Victoria Day weekend, May 2022. Good location because it has quick access to Niagara on the Lake and to Niagara Falls. Plus we checked out a Korean BBQ in St Catherines (yummy!). Taking the backroad, got to Chateau des Charmes and N-o-t-L quickly. The hotel is near St. Davids. For the Falls, we just paid the crazy parking rates as needed, and were able to pull away from the chaos of N-F by returning to the hotel each night. It is just off the highway, and there are some local roads. Hotel fairly full, but really only noticeable at breakfast. The breakfast was as expected for this level hotel, but the staff were friendly and were working to keep the trays full. Given that it was a busy weekend, and everyone showed up to eat during the last hour, I think they did pretty good with their efforts to keep up. 2 teenagers were happy. Parking sufficient, was able to find a spot in front each night, plus there is the rear lot if needed - our room overlooked the rear, so we could have able to monitor our car if needed. My wife handled the fee and the front desk; all good, I heard no complaints. Hotel clean and in excellent condition, and COVID protocols are followed by staff (clients seem to have decided that covid is over, but I notice that all over the province...). Would certainly return. After a long, long drive (including that crazy wind storm), it was most pleasant to pull off of the highway before the chaos of Niagara and just check in to our room.…
Friendly staff, good parking, clean modern room. Wonderful breakfast wtih a wide variety of choices. Near the mall. The only concern was the time and travel distance to downtown Niagara on the Lake. We would definetly return.
If... you want to explore the entire NOTL area, want to be central to most wineries, want easy access to the QEW, want to be 5 minutes away from probably the largest Outlet Mall in Canada, want a clean hotel with plenty of parking, enjoy a free breakfast better than most, this is the place for you. After staying in the town of NOTL multiple times we wanted to be more central to other wineries, restaurants and attractions in the region. The prices here also also very favorable vs B&B and Hotels in town. There are now over 70 wineries to enjoy in the area and this location puts you in the dead center to enjoy these venues.
Amazing room, clean, modern and spacious. Staff all friendly. Lots of parking and good location for the wineries. The breakfast was very poor though in my opinion and compared to holiday inn breakfasts in the uk. Paper plates, very few actual tables. The egg was very dried up and not replenished.
Attentive, polite staff. Very clean lobby and meal area. Room was spotless and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was as good as free breakfast hotel fare can be. The one negative was the noisy heating/cooling unit.
They gave me a room on the first floor. It was cold. The heat unit was noisy and loud. Then at 6am all I could smell was the kitchen cooking breakfast. Most likely due to the door to the kitchen being left wide open. There may only be 4 rooms on the first floor although they did not install doors to separate these rooms from the main floor hall. Breakfast was good. Front desk did not ask me how my stay was. There is nothing at this exit off the QEW. They call it Niagara on the Lake which it is. But more like a U.S. interstate exit in the middle of no where. Sorry.
