Detailed Reviews
Lovely room and facilities, great location for travelling around but a bit far out if you don’t want to drive Ubers were around 29 dollars a trip. There’s no curtesy bus or local buses here. We missed a bar although we did buy in food and drink. breakfast was grim I’m afraid. Plastic cutlery that was so bendy it hardly cut or pierced the food. Alternate scrambled egg and cheese omelettes. No flavour in the scrambled egg and if you don’t eat the cheese you’re snookered. The sausages were really salty and the pancake machine produced uncooked pancakes. Coffee was good and there was fresh milk, juice was good but the quality of the bread was awful. There was a banana and an apple and fresh juice. But I hate plastic plates and cups I’d rather pay a subsidy and hire proper cutlery and crockery for my stay. Laundry room was good and it was really clean and warm.

We have stayed here a few times and each time have been pleased. Clean, modern facilities. Friendly staff, good breakfast, free parking. Will return on our next visit. Great location as we try to avoid staying right in Niagara Falls, but still close enough if you need to go there!

We stayed here for 1 night in June 2024 as part of a 3 week holiday. From the onset the staff were so helpful at check in and give us lots of helpful tips when visiting the lakes.
The hotel has laundry services and you can buy the products required, which was so handy given the duration of our stay.
Can't recommend the hotel enough!

This hotel is located about 15-20 minutes from the downtown of Niagara on the Lake. If you plan to wine hop though the route you take to get there has many wineries along the way so it works out well. Desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and seemed recently updated. The breakfast was normal for a HI Express but we went down at a busy time and the breakfast staff kept everything stocked and hot and did a great job! They even had a room for overflow seating at the busy time which was great. They had a system that worked well at this hotel and served with a smile too! The Staybridge is attached on the other side of the building and they shared the main entrance area. This was not an issue at all. Great managed facility! We will be back!

From the moment we entered the ambience in very welcoming and front desk are friendly, they acknowledged my membership and let us check-in early. Room is clean and with fresh smell, my wife was highly impressed. Even we have our kids and some of the room got kids rooms are acoustically sound. Even its a little bit drive from the fall it worthwhile to stay if you after a quite place to stay. Definitely be back in this branch highly recommend to families and friends.

We had a charity golf tournament and had over 20 rooms booked. We had issues from the start with them changing rates on our guests and missing rooms from the rate code. They charged us a room charge when an emergency happened and a player couldnt come. After booking so many rooms that’s low!

Thank you for your stay Nancy, and for sharing your comments here on Tripadvisor. We would like an opportunity to investigate your issue a bit further. When a group is confirmed, with a group code, the rates are locked in as long as bookings are made within a certain period of time (called the cutoff date). If booking after the agreed, and contracted, cutoff dates, rates could be higher as the new booking would not be made as part of the group. If you are willing to discuss this further, so we can see exactly what occurred with this group, please call the hotel and ask to speak with the General Manager.

If... you want to explore the entire NOTL area, want to be central to most wineries, want easy access to the QEW, want to be 5 minutes away from probably the largest Outlet Mall in Canada, want a clean hotel with plenty of parking, enjoy a free breakfast better than most, this is the place for you. After staying in the town of NOTL multiple times we wanted to be more central to other wineries, restaurants and attractions in the region. The prices here also also very favorable vs B&B and Hotels in town. There are now over 70 wineries to enjoy in the area and this location puts you in the dead center to enjoy these venues.

We enjoyed this hotel. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Parking was free and breakfast (which is free) was great! Breakfast included toast, bagels, fruit, pancakes, juice, coffee, etc. The hotel is about 10 minutes from all the Niagara Falls attractions.

Hotel itself not bad, very basic. The problem I had is with the manager. I was told that bringing a dog would be at no additional fee. I had already paid a little under $300 for a basic room. When I got there - having being honest about having the dog in the room - I was moved to a different floor with all the dog visitors. Which was fine. What was not fine was the “customer service” that was delivered by the manager. He was very rude and unreasonable and did not care about my concerns or what I had been told. Really bad start to my hotel check in and NOTL trip. It doesn’t feel good to be brushed off and not heard. Get better management!

Thank you for your stay, and constructive comment HeatherpR412ZX. Charging a "pet fee" is a common practice in hotels and we do not know who, at the hotel, would have suggested there would be no cost for this. We have charged this fee consistently since we opened the hotel over 3 years ago. Many guests tell us that they appreciate that our pet fee is $25 for the STAY rather than up to $50 extra per day, as seen in some other hotels, and that our room rates tend to provide excellent value with the addition of a free breakfast, wi/fi and parking. These, too, are services that many other hotels do charge extra for. Finally, we do not charge any of the common taxes/fees that are in place in most other Niagara Region hotels. These can be a combination of Destination Marketing Fees, Resort Fees, Facility Fees, or a Municipal Accommodation Tax. Providing excellent value for our guests is something we will remain focused on, but we will have nominal fees in place where warranted (ie. pet fees). Again, we are sorry for any misinformation you say you received. We would hope to investigate your claim further if you are able to provide additional information about who you spoke to, and when.

Zero complaints about this facility!
Our hockey team group booked 20 rooms here recently and we were all very pleased with this hotel. Rose was very helpful with the reservation process and check-in was seamless.
The hotel was very clean, quiet, with a good variety of complimentary breakfast options.
Parking was free with lots of spots.
Close to the outlet mall and a few restaurants.
Would certainly stay again,
