Superb hospitality awaits you in our comfortable, spacious home in Old Town. We are close to many of the area’s amenities -- restaurants, theatres, shopping, golf, wineries and Niagara Falls’ attractions. Built in the latter part of the last century, The Brass Bell Bed & Breakfast is named after the ship's bell of sea-going vessels, Thus the decor is a mix of contemporary and traditional styles with a light nautical touch (Bob is a retired Navy Commander). Our beautifully appointed rooms all have ensuite bathrooms, two have four-poster queen-sized beds and one has a king-sized sleigh bed.

Location is close to the lake, easy to get to. Breakfast was great, creative. Bed was very comfortable, the room had a gas fireplace and nice ensuite. Hosts were warm and welcoming. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

My wife and I (along with friends of ours) recently stayed at the the Brass Bell in Niagara on the Lake and I have to say it was a great place to stay! We booked the two upstairs rooms which had a sitting room between the rooms where we played cards both prior to going out to the wineries and upon returning late at night. The bedrooms are clean, roomy, comfortable, with access to free wireless internet. The sound of a loud 'ship's' bell announces 'breakfast is ready' at 9am! The hosts, Bob and Julie, as so very friendly and have amazing stories to share. Bob does the cooking and is proud to state "I don't serve the same meal twice", so there is always something new to look forward to at breakfast! Great value for the price!! -Dave and Cathy Gray

I recently stayed at the the Brass Bell in Niagara on the Lake for three days, and I can only say great things about. The bedrooms are clean, spacious, very comfortable. The breakfast was served promptly at 9 am - the sound of a bell announced it was time. The hosts, Bob and Julie, as so very friendly and helpful, especially with advise about restaurants and the assorted wineries in the area. Their advise was always spot on. Give it a try if you are in the area - you will not be sorry.

We stayed in this B&B during our bicycle/wineries trip to NOTL. Beautifully decorated house, nice room with ensuite bathroom (Sarah’s room) very convenient location, tasty breakfast and, most importantly, very welcoming and hospitable hosts. Nice touch with complimentary soft drinks. Any B&B experience would not be complete without pleasant conversation with hosts during the breakfast, and it felt like staying with close friends. They also helped us to store the bicycles while not in use. Thanks Bob and Julie for the great time we had at your place!

We spent a night in Brass Bell and it was a great experience. They were very friendly on the check-in, gave us discount coupons for the wineries nearby. For the room. It was very comfortable, bright and spacious. The breakfast was amazing. Quiches, croissants, homemade jelly, etc. I would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast.

We spent one night at Brass Bell for a much needed girls weekend, and loved our stay! We stayed in Sarah’s Room which was a good size for our party of two. Bob and Julie were warm and friendly and very welcoming. We enjoyed a fabulous feast of a breakfast the next morning, and already talking about returning again soon. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

We recently spent 2 nights at the Brass Bell. Julie and Bob are great, attentive hosts and made us feel welcome, immediately. After a busier than expected travel day from Windsor, their suggestion for dinner at the near by "Sand Trap" was spot on. Each morning we woke, well rested and enjoyed terrific breakfasts and conversation with the other guests and our hosts. We'll be recommending The Brass Bell to our friends and family.

We were welcomed by the hosts, Bob and Julie, to their home as if we were close friends. Our choice of the ground floor room, indicated by our hope to avoid another daunting staircase, was a winner: the room was beautifully-decorated and spacious, with a lovely, large en-suite bath. The Brass Bell name is a tip that Bob is a proud, retired naval person and much of the home's decor reflects that (as does his banter). Although a touch too far for a leisurely walk to the centre of town, it certainly is but a short drive to there and parking in town is not a huge problem. The location on the Lakeshore Road enables easy access to many wineries west of the town. Breakfasts, jointly prepared by the hosts, were indeed excellent (and accompanied by Bob with witty dissertations on the food -- and other subjects of your choice).

We returned! And are extremely pleased that we chose to do so. Bob & Julie are most gracious host and hostess. Fabulous breakfast each morning, well appointed and comfortable room (Captain's Quarters). Wonderful hospitality. Bob and Julie were helpful in giving us incites about the surrounding restaurants and vineyards. Helped us feel at home and relaxed. We highly recommend Brass Bell B&B. Thank you Mary and Steve Brunswick Hills, OH
