This is an incredible historic inn to stay at if you want a luxury stay while you're in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The furnishings are incredible and really add to the high-end feel of the inn. We stayed in the Romantic Room with a fireplace and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. There were bath salts in the bathroom to use and gowns which were a nice added touch. The breakfast is unlike any you'll ever have and is a fancy twist on a traditional breakfast.

Lovely 2 days visiting Niagara on the Lake. The Woodbourne Inn is a beautiful bed and breakfast that provides excellent accommodations and exemplary service. We enjoyed our modest room, the delicious pre-breakfast trays in our room and the unique breakfasts served in the outdoor garden area. They surprised us with a special anniversary treat in our room. We took advantage of the fun local restaurant down the street one evening, then used the special pantry with bottled water and homemade treats back at the Inn. We enjoyed everything about our time at the Inn and thank their staff for a wonderful stay!

We were on holiday in the area, just for a couple of nights and were taken by the lovely photos and the location. The hotel is a very traditional house, oozing with character. The lounge and library were very stylish and as it was low season, there was only one other person staying there. We got upgraded to a larger room. We felt we had the whole house to ourselves and since meeting the landlady when we arrived, the other guest and the chef who cooked us breakfast was the only other people we met. Phase 1 of breakfast, with coffee, juice and a sausage roll was brought to the room, and phase 2 was a sit-down service in the dining room / lounge. Lovely place and definitely recommend. Only down side is it's on the side of a main road and whilst quiet in the night, it did get a bit noisy in the morning.

This is a beautiful Victorian style Inn with a modern day twist! While perfectly preserving and capturing its heritage, this lovely Inn is also well equiped with the luxuries of the current era. It's a magical, romantic setting to enjoy with a special someone, at any occasion. Luxurious linens, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, lovely decor, fresh flowers, are some of the features that come to mind. Also, as many of the other reviewers have noted, the staff is very accomodating, modest and friendly. The breakfast (including the pre-breakfast coffee and pastry) were absolutely amazing! (I would say, it's easily one of the best I've had at any hotel!) I opted for a Classic Room with a fire place, and was not disappointed! Simply gorgeous! Thank you Woodbourne Inn staff for making my stay a memorable one!

We spent the night at the Woodbourne as part of a family wedding evening. We had a wonderful sleep (super comfy beds), pleasant experience (great atmosphere) and a fabulous breakfast (DEELISH food). The check in and communication was amazing and the Hostess (Yvonne) was extremely friendly and helpful! Was the first visit for us, but definitely won't be our last!

Very well appointed. Common areas elegantly decorated. Rooms with queen bed, others available. Welcomed when we arrived and shown around. Spa like showers. Snacks and coffee always available. Early morning coffee and delicious muffins brought to our room. Well positioned for wine farms and small town restaurants.

We stayed at the Woodbourne Inn while visiting NOTL for a wedding at Ravine Winery. Our stay was short (one night) but was definitely memorable. We were upgraded from a room with twin beds (only room available at the time of booking) to one with a queen bed as luckily, another room became available when we arrived. The place is a gorgeous updated Victorian home. Spa-like bathroom was a dream. Yvonne accommodated our very early check out the next day with a gourmet delicious breakfast and coffee to go, waiting at our door. Wonderful service. Highly recommend and we will return to stay longer next time.

This is most likely the best Inn I have stayed at. They have literally covered every angle of hospitality. From the first welcome, to coffee and juice in bed. We met lovely people around the outdoor fire pit, and the breakfast was excellent. I will definitely come back here, and highly recommend it.

Beautiful historic home, lovely and welcoming team that made us feel like we were staying at a friend’s home for the weekend. We were in room 8 on the third floor. Spacious with floor to ceiling windows and a luxury bathroom. Spotless clean and cozy. The grounds are filled with huge old trees and a lot of birds. Loved it. Enjoyed Friday dinner at a new brew pub that was a short walk away. Breakfasts were unique and delicious as were the snacks and the s’mores made by the chef. Quiet and peaceful and we cannot wait to come back! Would highly recommend.
