We stayed at this charming inn for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer! We thoroughly enjoyed the balcony attached to our very comfortable suite, The Painswick, along with the two Muskoka chairs. Our hosts Elisabeth and Kent, ensured we were well taken care of and well fed (those breakfasts were delicious!). We will definitely be back.

My wife and I enjoyed the luxurious sheets and the quiet room. It was the first weekend they were open for the season, but everything was enjoyed in good working order. We breakfasted on the patio and the poached eggs were some of the best I've ever eaten. The hosts were kind, considerate and thoughtful. The house is in close proximity to downtown and we were easily able to walk to the theatre and enjoy a matinee. There were many restaurants within walking distance. It was a great weekend away and we hope to go back next season.

We enjoyed the house, everything was clean and well decorated. The parking spot was next to the house, but guests also can find spots on the streets. Breakfast was delicious and well-selected, but not enough, small portions were served. In our opinion, it's something that needs to be reviewed in the future. Overall was a good experience!

We stayed at the Harrowgate inn for 3 nights and the room we stayed in was the Kennsington. The room was lovely and very clean. The linens and pillows were top notch and the bed was very comfortable. The owners Kent and Elisabeth were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a great ambiance. The plates, glasses and cutlery were spotless and you could tell that the owners paid special attention to detail. We also enjoyed hearing the fascinating history of this beautiful home. We will definately return !!

The hosts were very kind and knowledgable about the area and things to do in town. The house is walking distance to all the shops and bars in the village. The room and rest of the place was lovely and well kept. Our room was exactly as advertised and very cosy. We had a delicious breakfast in the morning that featured food and drink for my girlfriend who is vegan. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

This is a B&B that cares. Lovely comfy beds and a cosy living room for guests. The hosts, Kent and Elizabeth are so welcoming and just couldn't have made our stay any better. The breakfast was clearly cooked with love - Kent went the extra mile, and then a few more, to create a breakfast for the gluten and dairy free member of our party and what he produced was a huge success. Thanks to you both for making us feel at home. We arrived as strangers, and left as friends. Perfect.

We stayed at the Harrogate House for our anniversary trip and couldn't have been happier. Kent and Elizabeth were great and very accommodating and the breakfast was fantastic. The location was fantastic with a pub next door with great food or a short walk to all the shops and restaurants on Queen St. We would definitely stay here again!

I have had wonderful experiences at this BnB under previous ownership and was unsure what I would find, so I was pleased to discover that things are just as wonderful. The décor is very different but beautifully updated and still lots of great amenities. I really appreciated the addition of having filtered water available. There were added touches like an in-room micro fridge, full-sized high-end toiletries, and chocolates. The breakfasts are great as well, and Kent and Elizabeth are extraordinary hosts. They were helpful in recommending a restaurant and other add-ons (hubby and I did the "picnic lunch" at Between the Lines Winery) and making reservations for the same. The location is within walking distance to shops and theatres; what more could you ask for? Highly recommend Harrogate!
