My husband and I just spent a long weekend at The Butler House. John and Stephen were the most thoughtful and hardworking hosts. They really pay attention to detail and they don't miss a thing. From the pre-stamped postcards and Pellegrino water in our suite to the meticulously clean home, everything was well-executed. John makes delicious, elaborate 3-course gourmet breakfasts.... More

With so many B&Bs in Niagara on the lake it is great to find one that is consistently delivering. The home is up to date, well appointed, clean and no deferred maintenance. The hosts were helpful and sincerely want you to enjoy your stay. Last visit we took all three rooms and felt we had our own oasis. Easy walk... More

The ultimate B&B. Really, it’s a very small high class boutique hotel. Ok it doesnt have a spa! But ... A gorgeous home, beautifully and tastefully renovated. Very comfortable, large, well-appointed rooms. One detail gives an example ... our room had a large wall closet including a full width raised platform to set out suitcases for unpacking etc). All rooms... More

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Butler House. Everything was just perfect! John & Stephen are the nicest and most caring hosts ever. The breakfast is the best I have ever had in any B&B or hotel! I would recommend the Butler House to anyone looking for a memorable visit in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Our third Thanksgiving stay at this wonderful paean to the B&B art. Prose just does not do it justice, so without further ado: Ode to the Butler House Friday night, from a week's work weary, Butler House beckoning with comfort and peace, John's hearty greeting revives the spirit And one finds That Chair that turns the world back to cheery.... We had a wonderful time at the Butler House. The accommodations are absolutely beautiful. John and Stephen are perfect hosts. We were given great recommendations for restaurants and what to do in the area. The Inn is within walking distance to stores and restaurants. We will be back to visit!
