We liked the intimate lounge off the lobby with friendly fireplace, a computer, and Keurig coffee/tea machine. Our room was somewhat small (it was probably not designed for a king-size bed) but the design and use of furniture made good use of the space. There was a wonderful shower and the staff was friendly and helpful. The bed and linens were outstanding, as was breakfast at Zee's Restaurant.

Hotel's Favourite
The hotel is in a perfect location. The boutique style makes each guest feel at home. The front desk is always available in person or through their virtual concierge Ivy. The staff is warm and welcoming. We have stayed at this resort multiple times because of the exceptional service, comfort of bed and pillows, room size, in house bar, in house restaurant and the option to have their driver bring you to local restaurant or winery. It is a wonderful place to stay. The only thing missing this year were the delicious brownies!

I was excited to spend my birthday weekend at the Shaw. I have been to many other Niagara OTL hotels and enjoyed many of them for their unique rooms and cozy atmosphere. Although the staff were lovely and accommodating, the hotel was a let down. The room is very basic, with comfortable bed but that’s it (my husband asked to upgrade but was told they were unable to do so). The cost per night is quite high but they do not offer the amenities of the other Niagara hotel. For example, no place to sit outdoors on a lovely afternoon, no fireplace in the room, no gym unless you drive over to the Best Western, no hot tub or pool etc. Zees restaurant was also substandard. I would say for the money go to Pillar and Post, Prince of Wales or The Charles unless you want to pay $$$ for a place to sleep for the night very close to the play, unfortunately that is all it is :(…

The day before our arrival, we learned that we had lost our reservation at the Moffat Inn due to an error by Booking.com.; but sister hotel, the Shaw Club, came to the rescue. We were very appreciative. Things couldn’t have worked out better. We received a comfortable, quiet room at the same price we had been quoted for our room at Moffat Inn. Service was excellent. The Moffat Inn and Shaw Club Hotel staff worked together very well and even surprised us with a bottle of wine on the house for our trouble. What could have been a disaster turned out to be the delightful weekend we had been looking forward to. Thanks to all who made this possible!

The food at the hotel is highly recommended. The food we had last night was really good after a full day at Niagara. The short rib was excellent and my family had the risotto again highly recommended. The staff were great , Mark being very helpful.

We hosted our 3 day Sr. Management team meeting here last week. I can't say enough about this venue - all staff are truly amazing, kind and caring. Our food was so yummy, the Sales team helped me plan some after work activities (which were also a big hit). The rooms are so comfortable and clean. The hotel is so charming. Thank You Shaw Club - as the co-ordinator of the event, you made me look so good! Our team members were raving about everything that we had planned! Also - the location is perfect!

We stayed at the Charles Hotel. It is a wonderful place to stay. The staff, the cleanliness and comfort is beyond perfect. Breakfast is a must! We took the complimentary shuttle to Zee's for a very classy dinner. Then we had after dinner drinks in the Charles bar. Perfect ending of a great day/night. Shuttle was available for other places also! The only thing we didn't know was about the stairs and no elevator. We will recommend this hotel to all our family and friends!

Our 4th stay at the Shaw Club Hotel in 5 years. 10 - 12 days each stay. We keep going back because the Shaw Club staff and accommodations are exceptional. Clean, friendly, convenient, comfortable good size rooms and all the amenities we could want.

Such a treat to be able to stay at the Shaw Club and enjoy the fabulous dining room. Our room was perfect (love the rain shower) and the amenities are first class. When we arrived, were made to feel so welcome and all the staff was so courteous it felt comfortable being there. Being able to walk across the street to the Theatre is an added bonus, although walking anywhere in Niagara-on-the-Lake is a visual treat. Gardens everywhere, and the merchants are very eager for your visits. Can hardly wait for our return visit !
