The Loyalist Bed and Breakfast is ideal for a quiet retreat, with a gracious host who genuinely wants her guests to have the best possible visit. Patricia ensured that there was farm-fresh fruits (I am missing those grapes!) and locally made jams served with breakfast. The walk into town was not difficult, and with all of the fantastic bakeries in...

I was in NOTL for 2 nights with my wife and my parents. This B&B is located in a quiet area but still walking distance from the main street. This place is an excellent value! Most of the places are much more expensive in NOTL. Best thing was the breakfast! Especially on Sunday it was a feast: pancakes, eggs, streaky...

Great stay, clean room. Will book again. Loved that we could walk back from the brewery/wineries. Had a great time in NOTL. I think it's our new anniversary tradition. Breakfast was wonderful. Quiet area.

We had a wedding at a nearby inn for the weekend and booked a room at A Happy place for the Saturday night. The property is located in a really nice and quiet residential neighbourhood. It is a very well maintained and clean property that was recently renovated. The backyard is large and private. We had the front room with...

We stayed with another couple in July 2014 and Leon made us feel very comfortable. The house is in a great area, very quiet but close to everything you need. We walked the beautiful trail to rent our bikes, restaurants and wineries very close by. Our rooms were very clean and professionally kept. Very comfortable! In the morning Leon had...

We wanted a 2 night stay in a quiet location and this was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with Leon, our host, who made us feel so welcome and accommodated all our requirements. Leon has a wealth of knowledge and experiences that he freely shared with us which we found extremely interesting. His collections of maps, books, artifacts, art...

My friends and I had a very nice stay over the weekend. The B&B is located close to town and the wineries. Leon and Lilianne were both very gracious and accomodating. We had 4 vegans (one of them eats only gluten free) and our fifth companion was lactose intolerant. They were very proactive in finding delicious food for us for...

We had the run of the house, which was extremely nice. Loaded with antiques and original art work. The very accomodating host prepared a truly gourmet breakfast every morning. He was a Belgian national, a major antique dealer in the area. His conversation was enlightening and in itself, worth the visit..
