We have stayed at Cecile"s for a week for the past nine years. From the first time through the years, Chris has continued to be an outstanding host...He has continued to have a facility that is most of the highest quality. He is extremely helpful and has assisted us with whatever we needed. Perfect location for a relaxing time. We...

We have just returned from a two night stay at Cecile's House and enjoyed every aspect. The house is beautiful, in a perfect location, a short walk to the centre of the action, yet away from the noise of the main street. There are lovely gardens to enjoy, to read a book or simply relax. A highlight is the amazing...

My husband and I spent two wonderful nights at Cecile's House this summer. Chris was the perfect host and the home itself is like candy to your eye. Every nook and cranny is tastefully decorated with just the right touch of French and modern pieces. The front porch is beautiful - especially at night when the porch tables are glowing...

This was our third visit to Cecile's House and we are already talking about our next stay. The décor, down to every last detail, is absolutely beautiful in this home. We can't say enough about how welcoming Chris is to his guests without being intrusive. The cleanliness and perfect location make this our favorite place to stay in NOTL!

I now understand why you must book so far in advance to get a room at Cecile's House. It is just lovely in every way. The house was built in the late 1800s and has been beautifully restored and decorated. The artwork, the colors, the peaceful outdoor spaces, make for a charming, interesting and relaxing retreat. You could not ask...

Simply the highest standard in everything: the cleanliness, the interior design, the attention to detail (e.g. the lavender pillows on the bed), the art, the books, and the old movies. Even the keys look very elegant. Also, the house feels modern: the air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, the white flat screen computer monitor, the lighting in the ceilings, the outdoor furniture (beautiful in...

My partner and I stayed here on July 14th for an evening - Chris was very polite and his home was stunning. Our room was gorgeous, with beautiful linens, plenty of room and a really great flow. Definitely felt luxurious. The location was also perfect - about a step away from the towns main strip. Breakfast was light but lovely,...

Our breakfast was fantastic and so well prepared, every last detail was above and beyond our expectations. We...

It’s been 3 years since my last visit to Niagara-On-The-Lake. Of course, 3 years is far too long and you’d expect many changes. Treadwell (the new restaurant off Queen Street) has just moved in from Port Dalhousie and a couple more vineyards have opened up since, totaling 80 vineyards in the Niagara – St.Catharine’s region. Also, Gelato Di Carlotta (ice...

We have been returning to Chris's wonderful B&B for 12 years -- 3-4 days each trip, in the summer, to stay with him and enjoy plays at the Shaw. We enjoy the helpful relaxed atmosphere, the very tasteful surroundings, the wonderful breakfasts, Chris's warm hospitality, and the whole environment -- it is our home away from home in Niagara-on-the-Lake that...
