We stayed at the Green Oaks because we were attending a jazz concert at the nearby Ravine Winery and had a delightful time at both places. The accommodation was comfortable, friendly and convienient to both our concert and the delights of nearby Niagara-on-the-Lake. Our breakfast, largely furnished by the resident hens, was excellent.

Owwner Trish was very welcoming and helpful and served a breakfast of superb quality and of a volume that kept you going to the following breakfast! Location is great for visiting Niagara and Niagara on the Lake and for a tour of the many wineries in the area.

Great location to stay for visiting both Niagara on the Lake, which was a beautiful and charming town and the magnificent Falls. It was ideal for us with an adjoining room for the kids so we could be private and great breakfasts too!

This is a charming B&B with modern accommodations, an incredible breakfast in the morning, and a helpful and friendly owner, Trish. My friend and I stayed in the Maple Room, which had a very comfortable king bed, wall-mounted TV with DVD player, a big closet, dresser, and a table and two chairs. Our section of the hallway contained our room,...

We were only 15 minutes away from Niagara Falls, Ontario, but worlds away from the touristy craziness of that town. We loved the fresh eggs from the resident chickens. Trish made us feel like we were right at home with an old friend.

Great location if you are driving: 15 minutes to the Falls and Niagara on the Lake. Comfortable room and good dining and lounge room to meet other guests or just chill out. Chickens provide the essential ingredients for beaut breakfasts with Trish's culinary touches.

Great location, fantastic breakfasts and a great accommodation! Fresh organic eggs were the highlights of the breakfasts. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed Trish'es hospitality very much. The walking distance to Ravine Winery is very nice, too.

Our stay was very enjoyable. A wonderful B&B in an excellent location right beside the Ravine Winery which has a great restaurant. The owner is very helpful and willing to please my fussiness at breakfast. Lots of delicious food at breakfast with fresh eggs from her dry happy hens.

Brigitte, my wife, found this wonderful location and said, that it will be a "must" to go there. Indeed, it was. To be Trish's guests is extraordinary, because she is so kind, so friendly and attentive. She understands all. If you go to the vinery in the neighborhood she allows to bring with the rest of the wine for cooling...

My mother and I took a 2.5 day trip to Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake on August 10th-August 12th. We stayed at the Green Oaks B&B and were very happy with our stay. The Green Oaks is located right by the Ravine Winery. As soon as you step out of the B&B you feel that you are in the heart of...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We would like to welcome you to Niagara-on-the-Lake and to our bed and breakfast. We sit on the edge of Ravine Winery (walk out my back yard into the vineyards and follow them to the restaurant/deli and winery). Also in the area Chateau Des Charmes winery and/Coyote Run Winery. Both are just a km away - just a few of the many wineries the region has to offer. Niagara Falls is a 15 minute drive. Enjoy the Gardens, or do as we do have a coffee/wine on the porch and watch the cyclists go by. We are located on a popular cycling route. We would love to welcome you with your pet however we have 2 cats that think they run the place. Lets talk about it before you bring your pets. For those with allergies, my cats are not allowed in the guest rooms, one is an outside one, the other well she just likes that I run a bed and breakfast. Smoking is not allowed in the house but please feel free to smoke on the porch or in the gardens. Please just remember to use ashtrays. We are a short drive (10 minutes) to Niagara Falls (and all the attractions - Maid of the Mist, Buttery Fly Avery) and to Old Town with the great shopping and the Shaw Theatre. Wine tours can be arranged. ... more   less
