Comfortable, clean room, friendly staff and the breakfast included was delicious. Tim is the owner and he’s absolutely fantastic. Location is close to everything walking distance to main strip. 2nd stay here and will definitely be back. Recommend 2nd floor with garden view. Cheers, Wendy

We just returned from staying at the Blairpen Hotel. The location was absolutely perfect to anywhere you wanted to travel to on foot and or by car. We stayed on the top floor and enjoyed the balcony - we were two couples traveling together so being able to sit together in the morning and evening was really enjoyable....except for the annoyance of cigarette smoke from the room below. It’s very private and you feel like you have been transported into the country as you are surrounds by flowers and trees all around. The host was very friendly and welcoming. He provides free pop and water which was nice and unexpected since we had brought our own. There was a nice selection for breakfast. Each room also has a fridge if you are bringing snacks. We brought cheese a crackers. They have wine glasses you can use from downstairs. We found the bed to be too firm, otherwise it was great; big and airy and very clean.

We just returned from a lovely weekend in NOTL and our stay at Blairpen House Country Inn added considerably to our great time. It is a charming B & B and located just steps from many restaurants and the main shopping street. Rooms are comfortable and the two lounges and the outdoor courtyard provide guests with options as to where to relax after a busy day touring the area. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at Blairpen Inn. The room was comfy and clean and I loved the quiet shaded gardens. Great location - just a couple blocks away from the chaos of the main street but close to everything, especially the theatre. The owner is super kind and helpful and made us feel welcome every time we saw him. I was also was really impressed with the breakfast selection and quality. Would definitely stay again. I thought it was good value for the price. Thanks, Blairpen!

The B&B is at a good location. Most attractions of Nigara-on-the-Lake are within walking distance. The room and public area are very clean and well maintained. The owner Tim is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. He gave us a lot of extra help. The price is very good, and includes a very decent breakfast. The wifi signal is very strong and reliable too. In general, it is a great experience to a stay.

Nice atmosphere, nice hosts, cozy rooms, and the hosts were very nice and helpful. The common area was cozy with 2 sitting rooms and a fireplace. Breakfast was continental and had pretty well everything you could want. This worked for us as I often took a pot of coffee and some croissants back to our room. I would recommend.

If you want to be within easy walking distance of the main town and the theatres, this Inn is well located. The hosts were helpful and pleasant. It's delightful to be able to step out from your room into a lovely courtyard. The only slightly disappointing aspect was that in the full bloom of cherry and peach season, there wasn't any fresh local fruit at breakfast. Still, that's a minor quibble compared to the other benefits of staying at Blairpen..

The house which was a doctor's office has been remade into a lovely inn/B&B 15 years ago. The weather was cool in mid-Sept., but the large secluded garden would have been wonderful on a warm day to sit and sip a beverage in. There was a substantial and very good buffet breakfast and Tim the owner was knowledgeable and informative as he is one of the only B&B owners to have been born and grown up in N-O-T-L. Would have given a higher rating, if the heat had been turned on during this cold spell.
