Detailed Reviews
Our first experience with a B&B and it couldn't have been better. The 3 unit B&B is tucked away into an attractive residential area about a 15-20 minute from the main street. Ideally located to use a base to explore the NOTL area, The rooms are spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. The house itself is largely available for your use with lots of sitting areas, soothing music played, and spotless.
Kumari and Ranju are wonderful hosts - professional, personable, courteous and extremely helpful. The breakfasts that Kumari makes are amazing. You will not need lunch.
I think that we have become B&B converts, at least to Blue Skies.

We found Blue Skies B&B an unexpected surprise! With most B&B’s there is usually one or two small issues that typically arise but this was definitely not the case with Blue Skies. The room was impeccably clean and well appointed as was the bathroom Kumari and Ranju were the most gracious hosts and the homemade breakfasts were absolutely delicious and entertaining at the same time (and you never know who you may be joining for breakfast and what interesting conversations that entails). The location is great as you are less than a five minute walk to the Pillar & Post (where we had dinner one evening at the Cannery Restaurant, also highly recommended) and about a ten to fifteen minute walk to the downtown core with its’ assorted restaurants and shops. We would not hesitate to highly recommend Blue Skies B&B and we would certainly choose to stay there again without hesitation!

Our two night stay here was absolutely perfect. The room was comfortable and immaculate, the hosts were helpful and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious, The host insisted on loading and unloading our car and carrying our luggage to our room. The house itself was elegant, and we were welcome to relax in the living room or on the patio. We stayed here with another couple, who shared our opinion. Blue Skies will definitely be our go-to B and B on future visits to the Shaw Festival.

Blue Skies Bed and Breakfast offered just what we needed for a great weekend stay in NOTL. Kumari and Ranju are friendly, knowledgeable and have thought of everything. They are so welcoming and our suite was so comfortable/well-equipped that it felt like we were staying at the home of good friends who are experts in hospitality. We had a few small requests that were immediately and graciously accommodated. The breakfasts were the highlights of our trip: the delicious food and attentive service was the equivalent of fine dining each morning, yet we could be casual and relaxed.
The B&B is well located to shops, restaurants, theaters and some wineries whether you are driving or walking. I strongly recommend Blue Skies B&B!

Blue Skies Bed and Breakfast at Niagara on the Lake has been without a doubt the best Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed at. The hosts, Kumari and Ranju were exceptionally welcoming, warm, gracious, and fun. While respecting our privacy, they were very helpful and always available. The room, bathroom and whole place were impeccable. Clearly the hosts had thought of all possible details to make our stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. The quality of these details was noted and appreciated, including bedding, bathroom, WiFi, additional electric outlets, among many others. Breakfasts were extraordinary! Starting with a healthy smoothie freshly prepared by Ranju, the meal continued with an incredibly breakfast menu prepared completely from scratch by Kumari! After these impressive breakfasts both in quantity and quality, we had to skip lunch on the days we stayed there. The location is fantastic as we walked everywhere, including some wineries, without being in the middle of the town. We will definitely stay at Blue Skies B&B next time we visit Niagara on the Lake and have already recommended it to multiple friends and family members.

We had a fabulous stay at Blue Skies B&B. Our hosts, Ranju and Kumari, were so gracious and welcoming. There are only three guests rooms but they are quite roomy and scrupulously clean. Our breakfasts were fabulous: fresh fruit, homemade bakery, and a different omelette with ham or bacon or sausage every day. Best croissants I have ever eaten! The B&B is in a quiet residential neighborhood but only minutes from the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake. We recommend Blue Skies unreservedly!

The hosts of Blue Skies BnB make you feel like family when you stay there. Their hospitality is second to none.
The room: The bed is SO comfortable! The place was clean and beautiful and they have plenty of additional amenities that make the stay comfortable, like a mini fridge, water bottles, and extra large fluffy towels.
The Home: The location is PERFECT. It's just a short walk to the beautiful downtown but there is also the park and the bike trails just a short distance away. You're kind of centrally located for anything you want to do. There is plenty of space to enjoy in the home outside of your room. You can enjoy a glass of wine on the back deck, or have a conversation in the living room.
The Food: The breakfasts are delicious! And you will NOT go hungry. They also are very gracious, if you do not finish the freshly baked loaf of the day, they'll leave it on the counter in the kitchen for you to help yourself, which is SO thoughtful.
We will for sure be back :)

I would only be repeating everything that was previously written. We had a 5 star plus experience. Believe everything you're read. I'm a picky housekeeper and have never experienced a hotel or inn that was as clean as Blue Skies. NOt even a speck of dust. You are required to remove your shoes upon entry....we do this at home anyway. The hosts are so kind and warm but not intrusive. Lots of privacy, quiet street within easy walking distance to the Shaw Theater or downtown. The breakfasts were gourmet and all freshly sourced ingredients. A restaurant chef couldn't do better between taste and presentation. They will gladly work accommodate food restrictions. Do not hesitate to book.
We will fondly remember our experience of staying at Blue Skies Bed and Breakfast. Hope you get a chance to do the same.

My husband and I stayed three nights at Blue Skies with another couple. We were doing a cycling and winery mini vacation. We had an amazing stay with our wonderful hosts. The B and B is gorgeous, the food is outstanding and the beds were very comfortable. The rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated. The location was a real plus as we could easily walk to everything downtown, but we were just nicely away from the bustle and noise. Blue Skies is right next to the Waterfront Trail. The cycling was excellent with the B and B as a starting point. Overall, it was a 5 star experience.

OMG! This place is a true hidden gem! The host couple are absolutely adorable, kind, warm, attentive yet discrete. Each morning they make fresh juice (a combo of fruits that you guess before you drink it lol). You will be spoiled with a fresh, homemade from scratch, breakfast which features a bowl of fresh fruit topped with fresh made whipped cream, a fresh baked breakfast loaf (every morning a different one), omelette or quiche style eggs. They will accommodate any food allergies. All this presented in an elegant dining setting with fine dishes and royal attentive service from them. There are only 3 rooms, so you will be having breakfast with 2 other couples. It was our first time staying in a b&b so our experience it was really great! We would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat! Kumari and Ranju are the best!! Thank you for your kindness!!

Hello! There's plenty of options depending on what you're looking for. Right across the street is pillar and post with their restaurant. Within 15 mins is Queen Street filled with cafes and restaurants, there's also Exchange Brewery for a quick bite. Oast House has pop ups on weekends and let's not forget the wineries with restaurants. Two sisters is just down the street as well. We're happy to send more recommendations if you'd like to share a bit more on what you're looking for and highly recommend making reservations during the busy season. Happy to make those for you as well!
