I just attended the IEEE SEGE 2016 conference. The University offered these accommodations for attendees. Nothing spectacular. Dormitory rooms for university guests. But they were very clean and the student front desk folks were very courteous and helpful. You couldn't find a better price at any of the nearby hotels. I would recommend university visitors to stay here.

My room was clean and comfortable, as was the bed. It's a two-bedroom dorm room, so nothing fancy, but it suited my needs just fine. Staff were friendly and courteous. I paid the extra $4 for the hot breakfast and it was pretty good. Plenty of free parking. I'd go back.

Staff are so friendly and helpful. Granted my requests and very understanding. Suite was spacious. Decent size for a small family. Excellent choice if you have an event in the campus or a great option if you are in the area and under a budget. Continental breakfast was just ok but better than nothing. Would consider staying again if ever... More

If you stayed in a residence in University then you've stayed here. It was very affordable for a two room suite with kitchenette. There was even a social room at the end of the hall which was much better than having a team of 12 year old girls running the halls. Continental breakfast included. Would recommend if having a sports... More

My husband & I attended a conference here. We stayed in a double room. When you walk in to the room there is a general area with two chairs and a kitchenette-small fridge, microwave, sink, counter space. Small bathroom with stand-up shower. Soap, shampoo, towels provided. Bring your own hairdryer. Two rooms each with a bed, desk, space to hang... More

We had a function 5 minutes from this location so we booked it through Expedia. Very affordable! Although the furniture in the room and in some public places looked very worn, our room , although small, was very clean. A shampoo/conditioner sample was left in the bathroom and several soaps. No blow dryer, so don't count on that! I've seen... More

My son's soccer team booked in at the Residence & Conference Centre at Durham College in Oshawa. The facilities had two bedrooms, each with TVs and desks, complimentary wifi, and kitchenette with full size fridge and micro wave. There was a games room available for the team. Parking was ample. Food services available on campus or many options available within... More

My kids went to University and stayed in residence so I knew what to expect. But if you've never had the res experience, then THIS IS NOT LIKE A HOTEL. I stayed there twice. The first time I stayed there, it was with my work partner. We were in a two room suite with a living room/dinette area and one... More

I stayed at this place for two nights since I had a race nearby during the weekend. It is pretty basic, but very clean. The breakfast is pretty basic though. If you want some eggs you have to pay an extra.

The beds are hard, with hard large pillows. Very basic sleeping conditions, that need updating. WiFi does work good. We were there July 9-12 while a group of Lacrosse player kids were there. Apparently the parents have not trained these kids to respect property. They used ice from the ice machine in the hall and played Lacrosse and had the... More
