Excellent B & B. Separate bedrooms each with small sitting area and full bathroom. Bar fridge, glasses, Keurig coffee and tea maker. Delicious breakfast greeted you in the morning. Thanks Sue and Stephen.

We have been coming here for the past 9 years. We have had nothing but perfection from the hosts Sue and Stephen. A delightful calm oasis in the stormy sea of life. The food is incredible. I would HIGHLY recommend this lovely home. You will not regret it.

Had booked a room almost a year in advance, with good communication about a late evening arrival. We were very disappointed when we arrived after a long journey to find the house in darkness and no one at home. We struggled to find a hotel room late at night on a holiday weekend and had to pay an excessive amount for inferior accommodation. We had short email apology from Stephen. He had forgotten to put our booking in the 2018 diary! Not very business-like and insufficiently apologetic for the inconvenience and cost incurred.

Having had the the honour of traveling much, abroad and locally, we have experienced many wonderful and interesting places to spend a night or two. My husband and I had the gorgeous opportunity to stay at Paddington Place Bed & Breakfast along one of our travels. From the minute we stepped foot into the front door, we knew this place was another level of hospitality. Warmth. Welcoming. Professionalism. CLEAN. Beautiful. Comfortable. Attentive. We literally can't say enough about it and about the hosts.. You can't go wrong staying at the Paddington Place Bed & Breakfast. We would never stay anywhere else when we come to Durham Region, after our experience here with Stephen and Sue. We are SO thankful for them, because they contributed a significant experience to our adventures. Come stay here, you will not be disappointed!

As a hockey scout, I stay in hotels a fair bit... so I eventually came to a point where I'd only write reviews where I was enormously pleased or disappointed. This is most certainly the former! I arrived on Thursday afternoon, being booked three nights until Sunday, and was greeted at the door around 3pm. Stephen was there to meet me, and immediately took me to my room (Charrington Suite), and it was beyond lovely. Super comfortable bed, big and beautiful adjoining bathroom, as well as a bistro set and a TV/DVD set with a cable box and a library of DVD movies to watch. Moreover, there was a cabinet to hang my dress clothing, to go with a cabinet filled with various glasses, wine glasses, and a corkscrew - very, very thoughtful. After being asked what I preferred for breakfast, I told him that at that hour (on the road at 730am), I'm more of a coffee guy - he offered to have coffee waiting for me, which was very thoughtful. Lo and behold, the next morning, there was a carafe of freshly made coffee, as well as a crystal glass of fresh berries, some yogurt, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Absolutely fantastic, and perfect for me at that time of day. The home is warm and beautifully decorated - I was able to do my work at the end of the day, and they happily offered their microwave to warm up my dinner that I'd picked up on the way home from the rink. The next morning, I awoke to the very same thing - and the coffee, I must say, was utterly fantastic. Both Sue and Stephen made great company to chat in the AM, and was fortunate to have a very nice young man be staying in the other room which made breakfast an even more pleasant experience. Given my day started later on my final morning, I took up the offer of breakfast in the morning... and was absolutely gobsmacked at the beautiful spread in front of me when I arrived. Coffee and juice as always, as well as berries and granola, to go with scrambled eggs and peppers, surrounded by a ring of bacon, and thinly sliced potatoes. Beautiful plating, and absolutely delicious. I have already booked my room for the same tournament next year, and if you're looking for accommodations in the area, I cannot recommend Paddington Place enough. Of all my travels (and they are many), this was by far the most pleasant experience I've had.
