I have mixed feeling about this hotel! When we drove up it looked sketchy as hell and isn’t in the best area! When we checked in the man at the desk was very nice and pleasant. The halls on the way to the room need repair and looked a little dated and dirty. The room itself was clean and comfortable - we had a great sleep, bed was comfy and the temperature in the room was perfect. In the morning the breakfast wasn’t ready apparently because the staff person didn’t arrive on time. Maybe late for work because of the snow storm the night before?! We had to leave relatively early and the city plows blocked the entrance with snow and we had to make a run at it to get out….the hotel should have made sure areas were shovelled and the entrance plowed! Would I stay again - probably not!…
We booked one night stay on a Saturday night. There was a band playing either in the hotel or some place nearby until well after midnight making it impossible to sleep. Beware if you are booking a weekend stay!
The room was fine and clean, although older decor. Breakfast was not good, especially with most of the guests in pajamas. Very few choices, eggs were terrible and breads were handled by guests. Parking was available although crowded.
This place is full of hookers crack heads and local trash. Front desk is completely useless and disrespectful. They let hookers rent rooms for multiple days knowing full well whats happening. Marissa is the front desk lady and absolutley terrible at her job she is rude and incompetent. Towels are like sand paper. Good luck getting your room cleaned as they will tell you to talk to the housekeeping if you want it cleaned. This place is an absolute joke and will make you feel sick to your stomach the minute you walk in to your room. Do not stay here
The hotel staff was very friendly the service was super great. Very clean hotel for a great value the beds were super comfortable we will be definitely coming back when we visit next time would recommend this hotel to everyone
It's fine for a short term stay. Bed was nice, room was clean, staff was pleasant with a quick check in and out. It is no frills no extra amenities like a hot tub. Due to the lack of competition in the downtown core I feel they charge a high nightly fee than what it's worth.
The location of the hotel in downtown Oshawa is quite terrible. There was a lot of noise outside the hotel at midnight, and we were unable to sleep. The staff was rude staff and didn't understand our questions. For the location and size of the room, the price was exorbitant.
I wish I could give it 0 stars. Our room was mouldy and musty the second we opened the door. The carpet felt damp, the sheets on the bed were damp, the carpet was ripped up in several places, and the room was not clean at all. We arrived late and didn't get to bed til 230am or else we would've gone to a different hotel. Asked to change rooms but they were at capacity. The only good thing about this place was the woman who checked us in. She was wonderful. Everything else was disgusting and disappointing.
We has a wonderful stay. Thank You It was clean, quiet, resealable priced and well managed. Will visit again. Parking was great. Quiet location. Convenient location. Close to Downtown. Easy to find and Hailey was great.
Breakfast was great, good variety. Room was modern and clean. I realize hotel can not control bars and live bands, but maybe they could supply ear plugs for at night on weekends. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy.
