This hotel was in the perfect location for us. We were visiting a love one in a nursing home and we were close. The hotel accepted our dog without issue and our daughter loved the pool. Chole on the front desk was very accommodating with the late check in and very friendly. He gave us ideas of were to go and very willing to answer general questions about the area. The rooms are not the most updated but were very clean. Overall I would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here on a trip across Canada. Booked online and had no issues with checking in. The first room we were given had not been cleaned, but they immediately got us a clean room and made sure we were looked after. Room was comfortable and clean and we were able to get a good night's rest before continuing our trip.

Rooms are very outdated and small. Bed almost fell over when we sat on it. Property is dirty inside and out. Overpriced as well! We were charged 200$ for a night Plus a security deposit of 200$ not worth it at all!

Amazing service Clean hotel room Front desk were so ACCOMMODATING on our arrival in establishing a great stay Pool area was clean and allowed myself to continue rehabilitation on my back with low impact aqua-fit exercises We have been to Travelodge (Innes Rd) numerous of times before, that’s why we continue to book at that location every time we are in Ottawa.

More then we expected. The front lobby was spotless. The pool was in use by many. The room was great. The cleaning staff did our room daily although we never requested it and changed our towels each h day. Each time we went out staff greeted us with friendly hello. They were great at helping us find thins we were looking for.

2 years ago this hotel was better than it was this past weekend. The grounds were littered, the garbage cans overflowed, a human had a bowel movement outside one of the entrances, wiping with a sock, and wasn’t cleaned up for at least 24hrs. Understanding COVID the housekeeping staff did not enter our room at all in the 3 days we were there and no one checked to see if we needed fresh towels or coffee supplies

We do have a garbage pickup done on the weekends at approximately 130pm each day. As you stated, due to Covid, our housekeeping team will not enter your room during your stay, but the front desk is well stocked with extra linens and amenities that we can offer our guests if you are getting low. I’ve been travelling to Ottawa for business every week for the last 8 years and I’ve only stayed at this hotel. Everyone that works here is an absolute delight. Kind and friendly service every time i stay. Often i find myself chatting for 5 to 10 mins with management or staff about life every week.
Ample parking for big rigs and cars with a few spots available for pluging in your vehicle. Excellent location at the 417 and Innes rd allows for quick access to the highway and stores and shops nearby.
Decent pricing. Not crazy.

Absolutely disgusted! First walked into dog poop by the elevator. Then given room 107 newly renovated. Band-Aid on the ground at the door, open up the door to blood on the wall. Go to the front, Nick comes to see. Smells of cigarette smoke badly and window is left open. Calls the housekeeping supervisor. She cleaned the blood, and checks it over. I invited her back. The smoke dector was covered with a bag, there was cigarette ashes on the bed, floor, window sill. The end table had wrappers and some powder and the other half of the Band-Aid was on the ground. After she checked it. No manager to speak with, Nick said they were off for a few days.

We were not happy from check in to check out. The entire building is very dated and just simply doesn't feel "clean" The pool was cloudy and the rooms were "old" and didn't feel clean. There is a huge lack of electrical plugs in the room.

I have booked into the Travel Lodge in Ottawa West through hotwire.
The hotel is pet friendly. After booking a non refundable 2 night stay I telephoned the hotel to make sure it is indeed a pet friendly hotel. They are but charge $75.00 regardless of length of stay. No where in the booking was this charge given. A warning to other pet owners about this outrageous charge.
