The Bed and Breakfast is pretty well situated in the City. You can walk to a lot of main attractions. The host, Richard, and Sandy, his friend (and my friend now!) are pretty welcoming. Thanks for your generosity Richard: for taking the time to explain where are attractions in the city as well as answering others questions. Breakfast is so...

The King Edward's B and B location to shopping, theatre, market and attractions was very good. Anywhere between 5-20 minutes walk will get you to all kinds of attractions. You are also a short walk to the canal. The BnB is a lovely 100 plus year old house which is tastefully decorated in antiques. Our room was spacious and had...

Auberge King Edward was a fortuitously great choice for our first trip to Ottawa. When we arrived, Richard provided an extremely useful overview of what (and when) to see and do, and a customized map that proved invaluable on several occasions. He even provided transportation at times when one of us had mobility problems, a greatly appreciated favor. And the...

The King Edward was a great find in Ottowa, really central so easily walkable everywhere, and Richard the owner and his dog Sandy were so welcoming and friendly. Richard gave us great tips and directions for essential things to see as well as restaurant recommendations and delicious breakfast muffins. We'd highly recommend this place for anyone visiting.

We stayed in the tower room for a weekend. The room was comfortable and homey. We loved being able to live in a place like this even if it was just for a weekend. Our hosts Richard and Sandy were perfect and met all of our needs. The breakfasts were our best meals of the trip. I liked that the...

Our room at the Auberge was very comfortable with Richard being a great host for us. He gave us various ideas of places to see that was a bit different as we had been to Ottawa before and had done the main museums. Getting around from this location was very easy as we could walk to downtown as well as...

This was the first time in a very long time that we stayed at a B&B; I chose The King Edward based on reviews and was not disappointed. Richard was a wonderful host, welcoming and gracious. I spent 3 lovely nights at King Edward Bed and Breakfast. Richard was a fantastic host. He spent some time going over places to visit in Ottawa. He also gave me a map. He even printed out a bus timetable for me. This bed and breakfast is in a fantastic location. All main attractions are within walking distance. I stayed...
