Welcoming and charming. The building is beautiful and the decor stunning. Richard is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome. The location is perfect. Walking distance to Byward market, the canal, parliament and U of Ottawa. Way better than staying in a hotel. Our room was large and very comfortable with a sitting area and verandah. The common living room is inviting and cozy. Breakfast was delicious. HIghly recommend. Can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: try getting the room with the verandah. A trip in summer will treat to a beautiful garden as well

I stayed at this charming property for five nites. The room was clean and bed most comfortable. The private verandah adjacent to the room is a big bonus. Breakfast was delicious, with fruits and freshly baked breads. Richard was the perfect host, knowledgeable and respectful of the guests privacy. The B&B is located near U of Ottawa, Rideau Center, the Canal; practically walkable to major sights. I enjoyed the burst of flowers and colors at Auberge at the end of summer. Richard has already started planting tulip bulbs and spring garden at Auberge will be a sight to enjoy. And I cannot end without mentioning Sandy the official member of Auberge who never fails to give you a warm and happy greeting.

We stayed at this B&B for 2 nights on Oct. 2&3/2021. From the moment we contacted the owner Richard for help getting there he was there for us. He is an attentive, charming & interesting host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Our suite, had it's own balcony, bathroom & sitting area. The decor is very unique and lots to enjoy. The Breakfast was delicious & presented beautifully. We enjoyed that he sat down with us & the other guests to chat at breakfast. We highly recommend this B&B and the gardens were awesome; can only imagine how beautiful they are in the summer.

Richard was the perfect host. His knowledge of the City's history, museums, restaurants and sites was most helpful. Breakfasts are delicious, and the historical property clean and comfortable. Richards dog Sandy loves company and the garden is fantastic. Within walking distance of most of Ottawa's attractions this B&B represents good value and the personal touch that is hard to find in a Hotel.
