We stayed in this hotel for two nights, it's in a good location about 10 mins walk from the sights in Ottawa. When we arrived, we were surprised at the dated decor and furnishings in the room (mini suite - lounge, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom), it felt as if we'd walked into the 1980's! But everything was very clean and there were lots of little extras like a plug in lighted mirror in the bathroom and a white noise thingy to help you sleep. The kitchen was well equipped for the two of us with a cooker, microwave etc; there was a large TV in the lounge area and another in the bedroom.

The included breakfast was wonderful - lots of choice and plenty of it including cooked breakfasts, cereals, juices etc. It's all self service on disposable crockery and cutlery and gets very busy but there is another dining room just across the way which is much quieter.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights, checking in at 2PM. A welcoming receptionist took my payment and C$100 deposit as I signed a liability sheet, then provided the keycards with the wifi code.
After parking in the basement, we took our bags up one of the 2 elevators to the 11th floor. Room #1112 was a very clean 400 sq. ft. carpeted studio with a comfortable king, fully outfitted kitchen, couch, desk with computer/copier and a window wall sliding door to a 2 chair balcony overlooking the city. The large bathroom had a tub shower with quick hot water, soap, shampoo, lotion and nice towels. The super large TV had a satellite guide(BBC, Bloomberg, Buffalo networks, CBC, CNN, CTV, PBS, TSN & many more channels). Strong secure wifi, many outlets and good lighting.
I did not use the 2nd floor gym but my wife used the free 4th floor laundry with detergent.
The 7AM 3rd floor breakfast was attentively serviced and complete; OJ, fruit, English muffin(choice of ham, bacon, sausage & cheese), hash browns, cereal, yogurt, waffles, bagels, muffins, toast and regular coffee.

Overall, a great night’s sleep with a wonderful breakfast.

We didn't expect much given the price (less than $200 per night, which was impressive considering we booked only a week earlier AND it was the Thanksgiving weekend), but the hotel was beyond all our expectations.

We booked a room with a Queen bed + sofa bed, and we thought we'd get the standard 2-room set up you see in most hotels. Instead, we got what look like a fully furnished apartment, a full kitchen (not kitchenette) with cutlery, microwave, fridge etc., a gigantic plasma screen TV mounted on the living room wall with Rogers package included (and a smaller one in the bedroom), good complementary WiFi, a dining area and lovely firm mattresses (a huge relief after the all the over-soft mattresses we usually get in hotels). On top of all that the view was fantastic, you could see the city skyline, the Museum and even some constellations on a cloudless night, all from the comfort of a fairly large balcony. The air conditioning also kept the room pretty comfortable and was easily adjustable.

The reception desk allowed us to check-in very late (almost 1:00 A.M) and was really polite about it, as were all the cleaning staff. Parking was available and easily accessible. The complementary breakfast was surprisingly filling too (they had hash browns, cereal, waffles, muffins, fruits, juice, egg-bites and sandwiches for both vegetarians and non-veg). You even get a $10 bonus if you don't request room-service!

All in all it was an outstanding experience, and not at all what we were expecting given our previous stays at Ottawa hotels (especially the Marriott, don't waste your money on a big brand name). My only complaint is one of the remote controls didn't seem to work, but it was probably just old batteries. Thank you very much Business Inn.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. My room felt like my home. It had an apartment feel and everything I needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. The kitchen dinette was well stocked with a microwave and oven range. The bed and couch were very comfy. My biggest surprise was the air purifiers in both the "living room" space and the bedroom. Since I suffer from allergies and am sensitive to air quality, this was a welcomed addition. The gym was ok. It could use an extra bench and a more stable elliptical. I had the breakfast included, and I found it to be sufficient if one didn't want to go out on a particular day and spend money. The location is so convenient, if you don't drive like me. Eveything you need to visit or buy is at a walking distance. Lastly, staff is so courteous and helpful. That's the cherry on top of everything else. I will return for a longer stay.

You are able to park outside while you unload and check in. Staff were friendly and check in was fast and efficient. Parking is either underground or in the hotel parking lot next door. We opted for the underground parking where we were allocated a numbered space. Elevator from there to our very spacious and comfortable one bedroom suite which had a full well equipped kitchen . Parking is on a first come first served basis and there was plenty of availability on all the 3 days we were there. Should the parking be full the hotel has an arrangement for parking 4 minutes away without cost.
Breakfast was basic, busy and plentiful. We liked the to go bags of bottled water and biscuits. On the second day we took our breakfast back to our room where we could make our own toast and use proper plates and cutlery.
We liked the option not to have housekeeping and have a10$ refund each day.
It’s centrally located with lots of restaurants close by and it was an easy walk to the Parliament buildings.

Was there from the 07/16/24 for a few nights.

Pros:

- Great location! Minutes walk to Rideau and Parliament Hill. Prime location, night scene when you leave the hotel is vibrant.
-Staff is very friendly and helpful.
-Signature suite is great! Very clean, full kitchen, with balcony - good view, spacious, kind of like a 1 bed plus den apartment. As a plus… each room had an air purifier, really appreciate the effort there.
-For EV drivers, free charging on site! Big bonus. ($20 parking/night though)
-Breakfast was good, variety of breakfast sandwiches, sausages, hash browns, muffins, bagels, hot oatmeal, bread, fruits, coffee, milk, juice - excellent!
-I choose to not have room cleaning services, so they reimbursed $10 for every night there - appreciate the reward for being eco-friendly.

Cons:
- nothing really…

Overall:
- we love visiting Ottawa, great city - we’ll be back at that hotel again!

Keep up the great work! Cheers!

The bed slept great!
Nice view from the balcony and a safe "disposal bin" for your smokes.
Big room, not noisy from nearby guests and overal a very quiet, comfortable and relaxed stay.
Breakfast was nice and variety was fine, everything was well restocked in time.
It was crowded sometimes at breakfast but no lines, if you'd like you could take your breakfast to your room (all disposable cutlery) .

We were having a family reunion with my sister whom lives in Ottawa. The location was perfect, staff very helpful and cleanliness in the suite was outstanding. Every little thing had been thought of and catered for. The kitchen was basic but equipped with everything we needed, coffee machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, clean cutlery and serving tools, plates and pans.
The lounge had 2 full size sofa beds, TV , phone, AC, full size dining table & chairs leading on to a good sized balcony.
The bedroom was clean and comfortable with wardrobe but no AC , the bathroom was big, clean , bath and shower and plenty of clean towels daily.
Also a hairdryer and iron + board included.
Free of charge a laundry room with washer, dryers ,press and soap powder!
The breakfast room offered so many breakfast options, hot & cold drinks and even a small take away bag with water & snacks.
Car parking is at an extra minimal cost but well worth it.
I would always use the Business suites again and have no doubt to highly recommend a fabulous stay.
Many thanks .

It's easy to understand why this hotels gets fully booked. The location couldn't be better - absolutely everything is within walking distance. Galleries, shops, restaurants, the canal, Parliament Buildings and the entire downtown core. The rooms are massive, spotless, and no stone is left unturned. Our room had a full kitchen, make-up mirror, laundry hamper, steamer, great towels, a work station, and wait for it ... a white noise machine! Maybe it wasn't the most stylish room (hello 19900), but it was one of the most comfortable, and definitely one of the cleanest. Some rooms have balconies, others do not. But everybody gets the same excellent breakfast included in their stay, with more variety than I've ever seen in a comparable hotel. Room rates are great, and the wonderful staff are professional and friendly. Safe parking is available outdoors, or underground. It'll be our go-to from now on.
