My husband & I enjoyed a few days of gracious hospitality and exquisite meals at Casa Java. Bill & Ester are attentive to every detail from the basket of toiletries in the ensuite to the garnishes on the delectable breakfasts. Our stay was a restful retreat from "real life". I want to encourage anyone visiting Peterborough, Ontario to consider staying at what must be one of the finest B&B's in that City. My cousin recommended Casa Java and it was a truly positive experience. The owners, Ester and Bill, were welcoming and their hospitality and attention to every detail to make a sojourn at their premises a positive experience was superb. The breakfasts they planned and prepared during my six days at Casa Java were a gastronomical delight. It was an honour to have experienced a stay at this wonderful B&B and I certainly hope to visit again. I highly recommend that you this special place when you next visit Peterborough. We needed a stay just recently in Peterborough and Casa Java was a great find. Very clean and safety protocols were all in place. After a great peaceful sleep a wonderful scrumptious breakfast was thoroughly enjoyed. The coffee was delicious and fun with all the Java motifs displayed throughout. Thank you Ester and Bill. My husband and I needed a break away from our regular routine. I found Casa Java, read the reviews and had to book. The place was easy to find. Ester and Bill were very welcoming from the start. Our room was extremely clean and pleasantly arranged. We both had great sleeps in the queen bed with above average linens and duvet. The breakfast lure started with the scent of delicious bacon. Our three course breakfast consisted of Lemon Cranberry Scones, Poached Pear with a mild maple syrup sauce and an amazing French Toast with mascarpone cheese filling and Candied Bacon on the side. The toast was made with Portuguese Buns. My husband loves to cook and has since researched and made Portuguese Buns, with plans to make this French Toast soon. We would not hesitate to book again. Hosts greet you and you feel like special guests. Bill loved making speciality coffees for the guests. The food is a gourmet feast, there are no disappointments true to their advertisement. I highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast.

A big room with our own bathroom. Very comfortable bed and surroundings. The hosts were very accommodating which we really appreciated. The house and neighbourhood was quiet so we had a great night's sleep. We chose a bed and breakfast to have a good morning meal and our hosts certainly did not disappoint - it was wonderful.

Casa java was an excellent b and b for us. Visiting a family member in hospital so proximity for walking was perfect. The accommodation was beautifully cared for, not a detail was missed. Our room had everything we needed, it was comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious and you could feel the passion in the air, for creating such wonderful delights. I loved the banana filled fruit salad, it was very pretty. All the food was beautifully presented really, and more importantly, it tasted very good. Lastly, my husband loves a good cuppa java and he was thoroughly satisfied:) We'll be back no doubt.

We stayed there on our way to Ottawa for a wedding and on the way home again. The warmest welcome, beautiful host and hostess and such a commodious place. Our room has an ensuite. And the Breakfast...never been served better in our life. Looked amazing...what creations.. And they tasted so good.. Can't say enough about the time with Bill and Ester. Price for accommodation and breakfast was more than reasonable. Hotel prices in the area are higher.

Top notch B and B just 7 min from downtown Peterborough. Very clean rooms, exceptional service and hosts, and picturesque breakfasts! Lots of little extras that made my stay even better. The only con was that there is no view from the room or house as it is in a neighborhood with houses quite close together, but beautiful views are nearby in the town. I would definitely recommend Casa Java for your stay :)
