We had never been to NOTL or Canada. So lovely accommodating cute and quaint! Perfect distance from attractions. Not too far and not too close. I have a gluten intolerance and only drink decaf. She made gluten free pancakes for me and surprised me with gluten free muffins the next day. Had a pot of decaf for just me every morning! Thanks so much!! Hope to be back someday!!

Thanks again Sandra for a really lovely time. Your attention to detail is really inspiring. The individual cooked breakfast was amazing and delicious. Staying in your home you made us feel really welcome and relaxed. The bed and breakfast is situated in a really quiet part of Queenston and surrounded by so many historic buildings.

We had a wonderful stay at the Red Coat Inn! A cozy getaway to enjoy and relax after touring Niagara Falls, NOTL and the local wineries. The room was very comfortable, with wines glasses and mini fridge to make the most of snacks and beverages - we will come back in the warmer weather so we can enjoy a glass of wine on the beautiful balcony connected to our suite! The breakfasts served were so creative, delicious and beautifully presented! We had great conversations with the hosts who were so friendly, and helpful with tips on where to visit (the walk to the Queenston Heights Park and the rich history of the War of 1812, the Landscape of Nations Memorial and Brock's Monument are a must see!) and restaurants to try out. We will definitely be sharing our experience with family and friends and we plan on visiting again!

We had such an amazing stay at The Red Coat. The location is perfect, just in between Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake. Sandra is so friendly and she was very accommodating for breakfast. I have an egg allergy and she took on the challenge and made me wonderful breakfasts each morning, it really shows that she values the people staying there and she is open to a challenge! We stayed in the Brock Suite and it was very spacious, had a nice balcony and a lovely bathroom. The property is well maintained and has many lovely gardens, and the house was very clean and well kept. I will definitely be coming back anytime I am staying in the Niagara area!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Red Coat B&B. Sandra was extremely friendly. Breakfasts were excellent. Sandra made sure to accommodate our dietary needs. The house was clean and welcoming. It was located on a quiet street about half-way between Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake -- a perfect location for us. We stayed in the Sheaffe Loft which was a bit "quirky" but perfect for our needs. I suggest you discuss with the owner before booking that room. The room is large with a private deck. However, it is two flights up with low sloped ceilings on the sides of the room, and the tub is in the bedroom area. Not for everyone, but fine for us. We will definitely return.

Thank you for your review Harold. Yes, the Sheaffe's Loft is located on the third floor and not recommended for those who have a hard time with stairs. The Loft is our largest room; it extends the length of the original house. The jacuzzi tub is exposed to the bedroom area, however, there is a divider that can be placed in front of the tub for privacy while bathing. There is no stand-alone shower in this room but there is a shower wand. The tub is under a slanted wall and therefore one can not stand up but it sure is cosy for a jacuzzi bath! It is a beautiful room to relax after a day of site seeing, wine touring, biking, hiking, or the theatre; whether one relaxes on the private balcony with a glass of wine or relaxing in the tub before bed this room is sure to please. So glad that you both enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to hosting you again in our home the next time you visit the Niagara area! Enjoy the rest of your summer.

This was our second time at the Red Coat. A perfect place to stay between Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake. We like to to bicycle so this was an ideal place to stay and visit the local wineries and bicycle to Niagara Falls and the surrounding area. it was comfortable, quiet and affordable and the breakfasts were excellent. Sandra and Keith are wonderful hosts.

Thank you David! It was nice to see you both again. Glad that you brought the bikes to explore the area. It is a nice area to bike along the Niagara River, stop at a winery or two on your way to Historic Old Town of NOTL or just stop and sit along the river to relax and take in the beauty. Until next time! Enjoy your summer.

We had an excellent stay at The Red Coat. Being between Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake, the location was perfect for us as it allowed us to easily split our time in the area between both major hubs. The place was very well maintained. It's clean and modern, yet charmingly old-fashioned at the same time. We really enjoyed our private balcony at night too. Sandra, our host, was very kind and helpful, yet not intrusive in any way. And the breakfast out on the front porch was fantastic! The Red Coat is definitely a nice place to stay at a very reasonable price.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at The Red Coat, which is at a convenient location just a short distance from the theatre, restaurants, and shopping in Niagara-on-the-Lake and the many vineyards and wineries in the area. Sandra, the host, was warm and welcoming, and my room on the upper floor of the B&B—the Sheaffe Loft—was a lovely, clean, comfortable, and spacious suite with a balcony. The breakfasts Sandra prepared were delicious; and she also kindly, graciously, and skillfully accommodated my dietary requirements. Other members of my family had reserved the other two rooms, so we had the whole B&B to ourselves during the weekend. One of the members of our family kindly thought to bring charcuterie and wine for lunch, which we enjoyed while sitting on the larger balcony of the Brock Suite. The entire weekend was really lovely and memorable. We hope to return to The Red Coat again next year, and I would highly recommend this lovely place to anyone who is planning a trip to the area.
