This may just be the perfect spot for a B&B in the Niagara on the Lake area. Nestled beneath the escarpment and next to the Niagara River, this B&B is located in the tranquil and historic community of Queenston. It's only about a 15-min drive along the scenic Niagara parkway to either Niagara Falls upriver or Niagara-on-the-Lake downriver. So, you can enjoy both, while getting away from the crowds when it's time to rest. We stayed in the Sheaffe Loft, a very large and lovely room on the home's top floor. With its own staircase from the second floor, the room is spacious, while still being cozy. Lots of attention to detail and the small touches that make a stay comfortable. The owner Sandra is friendly, efficient, and courteous, ensuring you have what you need. Breakfasts were delicious, and Sandra ensures that any dietary restrictions are accounted for before she prepares what is a lovely start to your day. During COVID, Sandra has taken all the needed steps and more to make travelling safe. From having all the entry details for the home and your room ready at the door when you arrive, to hand sanitizer available throughout the house, to spotlessly clean rooms, to completely separate breakfast times for each group of guests. As two travellers missing the ability to go wherever whenever, she help fill a void. Thanks for everything and for letting us into your very special home.

If you are looking to explore Niagara area this bed and breakfast is an excellent choice. Nestled in a cute little village you are away from the hustle and bustle of the town yet so close to get anywhere by car or bike. Sandra was an amazing host. Everything was very organized for our arrival and she made sure we had everything we needed (and we could get in touch with her by phone if needed). We stayed in the loft. It was so comfortable and spacious. It had a loveły private balcony. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was amazing. We had fresh fruit and yogurt. Delicious and plentiful hot coffee and an amazing entree and baked good on the side. From the front door you can choose to talk a nice walk up to the Brock monument and catch a trail, or hop on a bike and explore the parkway path (visit some wineries). An nice easy bike ride into the town of Niagara on the Lake. We were so happy we chose this location as it was so convenient but most of all had personal touches yet professionally done. We loved this bed and breakfast and want to come back!

This was our first experience at a B&B and we were very impressed. Beautiful home and Sandra and Keith were excellent hosts. The breakfasts were to die for: fresh local fruit and made from scratch muffins and main course. Very knowledgeable about attractions and steered us in the right direction to enhance our visit. The room was so comfortable and totally stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful balcony to enjoy our morning coffee and nightly cocktail. Definitely recommend to others and we are looking forward to visiting again.

We celebrated our October,2019 Wedding Anniversary during our three night visit at The Red Coat Inn. Our room was cozy and comfortable with decorative details that helped us to feel right at home. It was also a very clean and tidy room with all of the necessities and more. The Inn keeper, Sandra and Keith helped us to feel so welcome and provided needed information regarding great hikes to take in the area and restaurants that were very good. Sandra's breakfasts were fantastic especially the blueberry french toast bake. She also created a relaxing atmosphere that encouraged conversation with other guests. We would highly recommend staying at the Red Coat Inn.
