Stunning historic inn by the Niagara River. The interior décor is incredible with stunning furnishings that add to the charm of the inn. Our room was very comfortable and we really enjoyed the continental breakfast in the morning. Great location to explore Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake from!
Our party of three ladies were celebrating a milestone birthday. I booked the Riverview Suite and we arrived hot, disheveled and hungry late in the afternoon. Our host, general manager Matthew, received us cordially and proceeded to give us a tour of the Inn. Including its history, where the snacks and drinks were located, and the keys to allow us access and egress. Part of the charm of this very charming establishment is that it is not your typical inn or hotel. It is delightfully quirky. We had a private staircase to get to our aerie-level suite, which was a fabulous space with a king and two queen-sized beds, two bathrooms, kitchenette, livingroom and balcony. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable. Exactly what we needed. We enjoyed the quiet nights and cool evening air, only a 10 minute drive from Niagara on the Lake. Breakfast was included in the room rate. It was simple but tasty, nutritious and filling. Our stay was only for two days, but it was memorable for many reasons; among them the charming and welcoming staff and the venue itself at this location. Highly recommended if you like to be off the beaten trail a bit! We will be back!…
Perfect in every way! We were warmly welcomed and amply supplied with everything we needed. The common room was a delightful gathering spot and was well stocked with tea, coffee, and snacks. The rooms were beautiful, quaint and comfortable. The host offered helpful information. We wish we were staying longer than 2 days! So relaxing!
I stayed 1 night in this luxury hotel set in Niagra on the lake. It has a beautiful aspect and inside is tasteful, interesting and above all very comfortable. My room looked down to the river and was spacious and really comfortable. The arty books and historical furniture pieces made the experience memorable. The food was amazing and Yvonne made us most welcome. I'll definitely try and visit again.
Amazing from start to finish, Debbie is amazing and helped us with everything we needed, she gave us great suggestions for dinner, gave us a tour of the inn, and was very knowledgeable about the history and surrounding area. It was my Birthday get- away so she had chocolate covered strawberries with a Happy Birthday message. Bed/ Bathroom/ and breakfast were all amazing. I will 1000% be back! Thank you Debbie and South landing Inn for a fabulous night!
South Landing is a lovely place to get away. We recently spent 2 nights in the Riverview Suite with our 2 teenagers. With its 2 bedrooms (1 king w an en suite + 2 queens), it is spacious, full of light and great for families. The suite has a full kitchen making it easy to enjoy the great local food while also navigating pandemic restrictions safely. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. There are lots of outside things to enjoy including hikes. And the breakfast is delicious!
Four friends stayed 2 nights to visit the Niagara Falls Christmas Market and the outlet malls. The Inn is lovely with high end products mixed with antiques everywhere. The ambiance was serene and the décor was pleasingly eclectic. Deb greeted us immediately upon arrival and was full of helpful tips. the Continental breakfast was varied and tasty. The beds and pillows were comfy. There is lots of parking. The location is just off of the beaten path, on a side street, but close to everything. The only bad thing that I can say is that the horn that notifies the volunteer firefighters of a call in the middle of the night was loud.
We booked 6 rooms for the night before our daughter's wedding. The process started a year ago and even thru covid the communication and willingness to accommodate our group was amazing The entire experience from the booking, the rooms and the service was amazing. Deb you are a wonderful person and enjoyed meeting and working with you. Thank you again for everything !
Went with a group of 4 and all of us were incredibly impressed! The Inn was a mix of clean, fresh, and antique - the decor was lovely! We stayed in the Riverview Suite and were shocked with how spacious it was. Could easily fit 7 - 8 people. Service was great too. The in-house chef even prepared custom breakfasts to accommodate all allergies in the group.
Just an outstanding experience. Wonderful historic inn and Deb at the front desk was just wonderful. Totally 100% amazing place. The setting the detail the history the comfort and the genuine wonderful staff have made this the place i will always return to now in the Niagara region. Food was amazing. It felt like family.
