As things are starting to open up in Ontario, we needed to get away, and stayed a few nights at the South Landing Inn. The hotel was lovely, and very clean. It was obvious that they have taken steps during these unprecedented times to make sure guests are comfortable, including an outdoor check-in service and additional cleaning in the rooms. The staff was lovely, and very helpful. The room we stayed in was very clean, open, comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

We decided last minute to drive up to Niagara on the Lake from NYC. We had no reservations so I did a quick google search to see what was available in the area. I found a listing for the Woodbourne Inn in Niagara on the Lake and called to see if they had an open room. The listing number services this location and the Woodbourne. As there were three of us they booked us into the Inn instead of the Woodbuorne which is more geared towards couples and doesn't have rooms suitable for larger parties. It was a happy mistake however that we were booked at the Inn because it just so happened to be closer to the area we were looking to stay in and the main house had a beautiful suite available with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms perfect for my husband, brother, and I. The accommodations were very nice, clean, and quite. We were offered hot tea, coffee, and muffins for breakfast which were all delicious. The Inn faces the river and Niagara on the Lake is just a short drive down the road. We were very happy with our stay and the staff and will most definitely be returning the next time we are in town.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights during my wedding, in Nov 2019. I stayed in the Riverview room. The hotel staff were amazing and took me on a little tour of the facility, prior to my stay. I can’t say enough about how friendly the staff are, they even put flowers in my room. The Riverview room was incredibly spacious, clean, and tidy. It provided us with lots of space to get ready in. Internet worked great, and the room had a smart TV with Netflix, Youtube, etc. The location is excellent, in a quiet little village, just below historic Queenston Heights. Our reception was at the Queenston Heights Restaurant, so, this hotel was perfectly situated in very close proximity to the restaurant. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel, it provides a very romantic and quiet getaway location, just outside the hustle and bustle of touristy Niagara Falls.

I stayed here this weekend for a little visit to Niagara Falls and Niagara On the Lake. and have an amazing time.
We hadn't realized it was the soft launch for the new renovation, and were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We were also unexpectedly upgraded because of an issue with our original room and the new room really exceeded our expectations.
The Inn is beautiful, and the suite felt clean and well designed. The furniture felt comfy and rustic but the suite itself was very clean and modern. The veranda was a nice touch.
The check in and out process were easy and pleasant - and the manager of the Inn was very welcoming and warm. The breakfast was another unexpected surprise - it arrived on time, on a tray outside the door to avoid unnecessary contact, and was simple but delicious.
We split our time between NOTL and Niagara Falls, so it was nice that the Inn was located between the two - it helped reduce driving. It is in a very quiet neighbourhood, and it was nice waking up to the sound of rain on the rooftops.

My husband and i had the pleasure of staying at this property for 2 nights this month, and i would highly recommend this location and their staff to anyone. Debbie, the site manager was absolutely phenominal - she was extremely knowledgable about the property, the history of the location and was able to provide insight, humour and local recommendations, which truly enhanced our stay. The property is very clean and new inside, and the beds and little extras helped to make our stay extra special!

A clean and quiet family-run inn. Debbie and Alan were super helpful answering our questions prior to our stay and welcomed us when we arrived. Bike storage room in the basement was very handy. Rooms are simply decorated and spacious. Beds are super comfortable! Linens and towels were clean and plentiful. Large balcony faces greenery along Niagara River, great place to enjoy a beverage! Suggestions for improvement: more furniture in the room (i.e. table and chairs), and leave more toiletries for prolonged stays (soap, toilet paper, garbage bin liners). Thanks for a great stay!

South Landing is a lovely place to get away. We recently spent 2 nights in the Riverview Suite with our 2 teenagers. With its 2 bedrooms (1 king w an en suite + 2 queens), it is spacious, full of light and great for families. The suite has a full kitchen making it easy to enjoy the great local food while also navigating pandemic restrictions safely. The staff are so welcoming and helpful. There are lots of outside things to enjoy including hikes. And the breakfast is delicious!

We loved our stay! Deb was so amazing. She knows the area so well and was able to give us great recommendations on hikes, gas, wineries, food & more. Rooms were clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a lovely weekend getaway. The location was a short drive to everywhere in Niagara but was quiet with lots of greenery.

Went with a group of 4 and all of us were incredibly impressed! The Inn was a mix of clean, fresh, and antique - the decor was lovely! We stayed in the Riverview Suite and were shocked with how spacious it was. Could easily fit 7 - 8 people. Service was great too. The in-house chef even prepared custom breakfasts to accommodate all allergies in the group.

Our party of three ladies were celebrating a milestone birthday. I booked the Riverview Suite and we arrived hot, disheveled and hungry late in the afternoon. Our host, general manager Matthew, received us cordially and proceeded to give us a tour of the Inn. Including its history, where the snacks and drinks were located, and the keys to allow us access and egress.
Part of the charm of this very charming establishment is that it is not your typical inn or hotel. It is delightfully quirky. We had a private staircase to get to our aerie-level suite, which was a fabulous space with a king and two queen-sized beds, two bathrooms, kitchenette, livingroom and balcony. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable. Exactly what we needed. We enjoyed the quiet nights and cool evening air, only a 10 minute drive from Niagara on the Lake. Breakfast was included in the room rate. It was simple but tasty, nutritious and filling.
Our stay was only for two days, but it was memorable for many reasons; among them the charming and welcoming staff and the venue itself at this location. Highly recommended if you like to be off the beaten trail a bit! We will be back!

Yes we are a short walk away from the docks on the Niagara River, in Queenston. Please note that some of the NIagara Belle cruises leave from Navy Hall in Niagara_on_the_Lake.
