This truly is a little piece of heaven, and by far one of our most favourite places to stay. It’s a short 7-10 minutes into town, and a quick 5 minute drive to St. David’s with the best fish and chips at the Grist. The bed and breakfast is spacious, clean, and well loved and maintained. This is our third stay-we’ve booked the river view suite which has a king beg and fireplace and with beautiful brick. This stay we booked the Turett Suite and we had the whole floor, with a nice sitting area and extra space with a pull out of there is an extra person. Joyce and Doug are wonderful hosts, who always ensure your stay is good, recommend places to go and offer a beautiful breakfast second to none. We’ve stayed at other bed and breakfast places and the Everheart blows them all out of the water! Why you ask? Attention to detail, a well maintained area with beautiful landscaping they do on their own, an indoor pool opened from may-late September, beautiful cozy rooms and charm throughout that makes you feel like you are at a true bed and breakfast, wonderful food and warmth and care by the owners. We also enjoy meeting other guests from the USA who come over and local people. It’s got such a warm feeling to it, you won’t find a better place. We look forward to booking our next stay.

Everheart and its owners Joyce and Doug are all treasures. Staying at Everheart is a first class experience from beginning to end. You are warmly welcomed and shown to one of their three lovely, clean, and well appointed rooms. Immaculate attention to detail and a thoroughly cleaned environment is a top priority for this establishment especially during these challenging times.

Joyce and Doug are genuinely nice, kind and caring people who really go the extra mile to make all their guests feel welcome. They truly want you to have a good time on your vacation and believe Everheart is an important part of that experience.

Breakfast is beautifully presented and dietary concerns are taken into consideration. The house has a lovely, clean indoor pool which is such a pleasure to enjoy. The grounds are beautifully well kept and serene. The porch offers a fabulous view of the grounds.

This is a special place with so much to offer! A beautiful environment, lovely, cozy, comfortable rooms and terrific hosts make Everheart a truly wonderfully memorable experience. Highly recommended!! Thank you very much...

Joyce and Doug anticipated all of our needs and went above and beyond to make sure everything was safe and spotlessly sanitized during these challenging pandemic times. Very spacious modernized bedroom while keeping historic warmth and charm. Breakfasts were exquisite and perfect in every way. We look forward to staying here again in 2021, with or without any pandemic. Dave and Jodi

My fiancé and I visited Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake, staying with Doug and Joyce, for 3 nights. It was a wonderful experience both regarding the magnificent Country Manor, our room and the hospitality. Doug and Joyce's years of hosting B&B's showed through their attention to detail regarding their delicious and diverse breakfast menus, providing information regarding how to spend your time, offering only upon request, our rooms cleanliness and very classy appointments, etc.
The location of Everheart is also one that we sought and it filled the bill. Far enough from all the activity of Niagara Falls yet close enough to Niagara on the Lake to easily enjoy its fabulous restaurants, wineries, bakeries and shopping. We wholeheartedly recommend Everheart and hope to return soon. Thank you Doug and Joyce.

Joyce and Doug King warmly welcomed us to their wonderful home in Niagara on the Lake (Queenston). Their charming BnB provided us with all of the comforts of home. They gladly accommodated us with an earlier breakfast request each of the two mornings, which we enjoyed eating outside on their covered porch overlooking their beautiful gardens. We've stayed at numerous BnBs in NOTL and without a doubt this one was, if not, the best.

Spent a great weekend here. The service and food were excellent. We never got a chance to use the pool our room overlooked it and it was so inviting. We had a chance to walk the property and it is so well maintained. would highly recommend Everheart.

Visited with my wife for a couple night stay for a mid week getaway. Overall Everheart had everything we look for in a B&B. Joyce and her husband were excellent hosts. Very attentive to our needs. They gave us the privacy we wanted but were also there if we needed them. Great hosts!

Breakfast was excellent. Selecting from an individual menu the day before was a very nice touch. Eating on the huge porch overlooking the beautiful gardens was just spectacular!

The property was beautiful. We had one of the king rooms. It was very spacious, meticulously clean and very private. Comfortable bed. The private bathroom was also very spacious.

The home has an indoor swimming pool which we quite enjoyed during our first night there. The property is about 10km outside of the main strip of NOTL, just a short, scenic drive down the parkway. It was nice to be away from the noise of town yet still very close.

Would highly recommend Everheart when looking for accommodations in NOTL. We look forward to visiting again!

Location, comfort and food are all good. But I will not recommend it to anyone. We had a sleepless night on the first of our two nights because of loud young people. Never did we have such a B&B experience (and we've been to scores of B&Bs) of hearing cursing, running and stomping around until after 2 a.m.

When I asked if we could have a late checkout, it seemed to be an inconvenience so we hurried and left well on time. I wasn't going to beg anyone for favours. I expected to be compensated somewhat for having an awful first night - not through empty offers, but through real attention and empathy to what we went through and awareness that when you don't deliver excellent service, you fail as a B&B.

Response from Joyce King, Owner at Everheart Country Manor
Responded Sep 15, 2020
I regret that your stay with us was not the relaxing getaway you had hoped for and I am saddened to see you were dissatisfied with how we dealt with the situation. We personally strive to offer a luxurious and peaceful environment with our house policy of quiet time after 11:00pm and upon hearing your concern we promptly addressed the situation with the other guests. We further offered you an additional complimentary night, which you declined and asked if you could have a late check-out which we were happy to extend to you. Again, I regret your dissapointment and hope you will consider staying with us again in the future.

A very well kept, well run, beautiful home with very friendly and accommodating owners. We had a peaceful family weekend with plenty of opportunities to visit old Town Niagara-on-the-Lake. We would highly recommend Everheart to anyone looking for a B&B and a more than pleasant experience. We will be returning down the road for another stay, without doubt...
