Detailed Reviews
The reviews say 'reasonable prices' and 'clean'. All true! Even the grout line in the bathroom between the wall & floor was pristine! Older, 'drive-up to the door' style motel which I am beginning to appreciate more & more. Comfortable rooms, crisp bed linens. Room had TV with many stations and fridge w/freezer compartment. Room heating was on a 'smart thermostat - so you can't change the temp. But, the room was comfortable & the room temp went down at night so good for sleeping. We we would definitely stay here again.

I was greeted by a friendly and polite young couple at the front desk upon my arrival. Check-in / out was very efficient. Room was very clean, looked liked it was recently refurbished; had crown molding and very tasteful decor. The fridge and microwave were clean (although we only utilized the fridge). The room had a coffee maker, but as Tim Hortons was only a block away, we walked over for a good brew.
You could tell that the "bones" of the building were that of an older facility, but the property was very well maintained, bright and in good repair. They had a nice picnic area with patio sets and a BBQ, and for us (who travelled with a dog), they had a nice grassy area for pets to relieve themselves, or to just have a good frolic and a sniff around. (Always "stoop and scoop") :)
They also had a pool, but we did not take advantage of that on our stay, so we weren't sure if it was "open" or not, as we did not see anyone swimming in it.
We were there for only one night and although the facility is close enough to many amenties (Tim Hortons one block away, Esso Gas Station across the street, John's Diner <Restaurant> two blocks away, and of course the Hiawatha Slots and Racetrack less than one kilometre away), you still felt like you were miles away from the hustle and bustle of the city (Sarnia) - which was a 10 minute drive to its downtown core.
One must remember that this is a MOTEL - Not a HOTEL, and is located in a more 'industrial' type city within Ontario, and should therefore keep that in mind when booking your stay here. If you are one that seeks the 'luxury' of room service and all the fancy-schmancy bells 'n whistles (at overpriced fees to boot); then this is not your place. If you are lookig for a clean, comfortable and extremely affordable room in a fairly quiet and natural environment, then this is the place to stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and as long as the upkeep of the property remains as such, we will be certain to visit again.

We just spent two nights at this motel and found it to be very reasonably priced, very clean, friendly staff and definitely would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonable clean, comfortable motel. The only small negative we found was that we had lots of snow fall over the weekend and the parking lot was not plowed and had several inches of snow in it. We got stuck leaving the lot but finally got out. Do not let the outside pics of this motel fool you. It is obvious that the owners are keeping it up to date with comfortable beds, granite bathroom sink,(small bathroom though) crown moulding, flat screen t.v.microwave, fridge, coffee maker, nice furniture etc. etc.our room was well heated, however, they did not heat the room between 11 and 3 (check out, check in time) But we found it warm enough and it was minus 7 outside.

A great little motel that is clean, comfortable, and spacious. Looks like a Seventies dive on the outside, but is so much more inside. Very popular. We liked the room very much. Stay there! You will like it.

Clean, comfortable and spacious. We were only here for one night travelling to Chicago from Ottawa.
For $50/night this was excellent value. I've stayed in worse places and paid a lot more for the privilege.

My fiances baseball team booked this hotel for the OBA tournament that was being held outside of Sarnia. When we pulled in I immediately got on my hotels.com app and started looking for other accommodations. However, when we went inside to see what the rooms looked like they were very clean and somewhat updated. We actually enjoyed our stay and we were able to hang out in the parking lot together and in front of our rooms with no one to bother us. If you are a looking for a quick stay or with a group of rowdy boys, I recommend it.

Arrived late into Sarnia, Ontario and found this pleasantly surprising after stoping to look at another motel just down the street. The rooms given to our party of five had been renovated to an updated, clean, and comfortable environment. The price was very reasonable, and I would stop there again.

The staff was prompt with getting us our room and checking out. The bathroom looked pretty nice clean.

If I could give this place a 0 it would get it.
I have stayed at this place before, never had an issue until tonight when I went to unpack my suitcase...
I noticed that my brand new $200 pair of Hunter boots we not in there. I called and asked the women that answered the phone politely if I had left them and she was extremely rude to me and said you left them behind we are not responsible for them. I replied.. Ok but I know I left them there. She said too bad. I asked for the owners number and she passed the phone to the RUDEST man I have ever encountered. He claimed to be the manager; swore at me, called me a racist/misogynistic name and said too bad we have your boots. You left them (insert more names and swear words here) too bad. He hung up the phone on me. I said you can not talk to me like this, it's highly inappropriate and I will be writing a review on every website available. His reply (insert more names I get called here) and hung up on me.
So to basically sum up my review of the establishment. I would not recommend it to any woman to ever stay here EVER! from the way this man talked to me and his misogynistic point of view on us. He should be fired and until this happens this hotel should be blacklisted from this site.
The hotels staff are not trust worthy. If you leave something worth taking behind they will not return it.
I also would not recommend this hotel to any families. The heat didn't work in my room. The windows didn't lock properly. There was black
mold in the bathroom and I don't know what was going on at this place but the police were there investigating a women that was heard screaming. Also the walls are super thin and you can hear everything....
