Stayed here twice. Once on the way out of the area and then when we came back. Both times we had a pleasant stay. Room was clean and well equipped. Staff were very nice. The hotel is close to several places to eat and to a Dollarama and Walmart. It is nice that it is on the north end of town so that you aren't right down town. It is on the main drag, so it can be a bit noisy if you have the window open.

This motel is always sparkling clean, and staff is welcoming. The lack of broadloom carpeting is a bonus for those with allergies. This motel welcomes pets and they offer sheets for them to protect bedding. It is an older motel, but well kept, the beds are comfortable, the water pressure excellent, air conditioned, and relatively quiet as it is tucked back from the main street. Close to good restaurants, Starbucks. We always stay here when driving through Sault Ste Marie.

This is a older motel and wasn’t my first choice but we were pleasantly surprised. We stopped at a chai and quickly found the major hotels were all sold out for fall colour season. One recommended and arranged a stay at the Northlander for us. Who’s rooms were also quickly selling out. Long/short.... good stay, older motel, ok rate, clean rooms and attentive staff. Yes I would stay again.

Room was clean. Had laminate floors instead of carpet, which seemed easier to keep clean, bathroom and room overall was very clean. Very weak WiFi in room 11, which was bad for us as we had no service in Canada only in the US for our plan. Price was right though.

We were just passing through Sault Ste Marie for one night. This is a small motel and definitely not fancy. The service was great. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, blow dryer, flat screen TV. Restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.
