Upon arrival on a Friday evening, Bob was friendly and genuine. The room had a beautiful sunset view of the river and was very clean, warm, quiet, and well-appointed. We appreciated the amenities such as free shampoo, lotion, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate -- these are the little details which make this motel stand out among the rest in this price range! Muffins and juice were provided in the morning and check-out with friendly Julia was quick and easy. A lovely overnight stay in a top-notch, affordable and very comfortable room. Highly recommended!!! R.P.
This Is my home away from home when I have to be in city for family stuff. When you walk into the rooms you smell freshness. Its one of the only Motels I have stayed in that when you climb Into bed you actually know It is clean Linen. The sheets Smell clean and fresh. The staff Greets you by name and I have always had a wonderful experience. My last stay I was greeted by Julia who was In training and she was wonderful Great job Julia, I hope to see you next time
This is our go to place in St Catherine’s. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The bed is great. I think I sleep better than when at home. The owners are very accommodating and often know me by name. I would not stay anywhere else when in St Catherine’s.
My husband and I stayed Friday night at the Capri Inn. The rooms are very clean and the bed was comfortable. We arrived a bit before check in time and they were very accommodating to allow us to check in early. Much appreciated.
My husband and I spent the weekend at the Capri Inn as we were in St. Catharines for my grandsons hockey tournament. It is one of the old fashioned motels but is so very clean and the young lad at the front desk was excellent with directions to the arenas. The beds are very comfortable and they left an ashtray outside the front door for me so I could have a smoke. The breakfast was juice and a muffin but we were close to restaurants and the QEW. It was very reasonably priced and I would certainly not hesitate to stay there again.
Upon arrival the young man checking is in greeted me by name, (what! do you offer psychic readings I asked). He laughed and asked me how my hike was. I couldn't believe that he had actually written down when I made the reservation weeks before that my friend and I were hiking the Bruce Trail for 2 days. He stated he put us in an end room to make sure it was quiet and we had a view of the water. The room was perfect, clean, comfy beds, (we hiked 23 km that day), great water pressure in the shower, mini fridge for the left over pizza and coffee for the morning. Woke up the next morning refreshed and went to pick up muffins and juice in the refreshment room. My friend and I would come back here each time we hiked but unfortunately the Bruce Trail end 900 km from there. Hope this review gives you the confidence that booking The Capri Inn is a great choice.…
Capri hotel is in top condition compared to the many hotels we’ve stayed at Niagara Falls at a similar price. Warm welcome by the young guy at reception. Room furniture is in good condition. The older style decor makes the rooms look dated, especially the color of the walls. Minor constant traffic noise all night long, similar noise level as the bar fridge in the room eg. We had a good nights sleep. Short walk to McDonalds or a bit further to Tim Hortons and Boston Pizza. Short drive to the Niagara fashion outlet mega centre, Niagara-on-the-Lake historic district and many fruit growing orchards (pick your own too). Easy to find Hotel and to navigate from. I will return to this hotel, when I’m heading this way. With a splash of white non-glossy flat paint, the rooms would look much brighter and more welcoming, just my opinion.…
The motel was very clean and beds were extremely comfortable, the only reason I rated with 4 stars is that the carpet was stained. Also the furnishings are a bit dated, but in good condition. Owner and staff were friendly, my mother and I enjoyed our stay.
First of all, it's VERY solidly built with brick and masonry brick construction. NO security worries here. Typical two-storey motel in an "L" shape with stairs leading to the upper level. Nice & normal customers. Friendly & helpful staff. Rooms are about 350 sq. ft. with SUPER comfy beds, excellent air conditioning, SPOTLESS bathroom (which includes a tub), and mini-fridge. Internet was sometimes a bit slow to load video clips at peak times. Occasionally, you had to sign in a second time. Self serve muffins, pastries, and juice at breakfast time. My rate was $136, which was excellent during the Canada Summer Games. Also, lots of travellers use this property as their Niagara Falls hotel, as the Falls are only a 25 minute drive away. I normally don't stay at motels, but I would be happy to stay in this excellent property many times over! One caveat - there are no refunds after you check in. If you decide to shorten your stay, you won't get a refund for the unused nights, but that's outlined on your agreement when you rent the room.…
Spent the Victoria Day weekend here with two other couples while attending an amazing celebration for the ordination to the preisthood for a good friend. Very clean and comfortable. Mary at the reception was extremely helpful, even though they were fully booked. Will definitely return here.
