For the past 3 years, my wife and I have made an annual tradition of visiting Stratford and Hughson Hall is always the heart of our experience. I can’t speak of it highly enough. The house is one of the most elegant, comfortable and peaceful places we have ever stayed, and the hosts are two of the kindest people on...

Clinton and Ross are absolutely delightful hosts, and the B&B is lovely. The two rooms are different from one another, the one with a king bed and two steps down to the bathroom was ours. Located a few blocks west of downtown in a residential area, this is a great place to stay. Breakfasts were extensive and delicious, no lunches...

My mother grew up in Stratford in the 1930s in this particular house so it was a real privilege to stay here last week during my first visit to Stratford. The current "custodians" of this beautiful home have turned it into a small but elegant B&B. There are two main guest bedrooms, and another small room which can also accommodate...

This is the bed and breakfast to end all bed and breakfasts. The house is straight out of a fairy tale. Our West Wing suite was gorgeous with bedroom, sitting room, extravagant bathroom with mirrored ceiling and snack room stocked with beverages, chips and cookies. The house is filled with Stratford artifacts and is quite tastefully done. The house has...

We've stayed in quite a few B&Bs, but this one is over the top. From the moment you walk through the door of this beautiful old mansion, you are treated like royalty. The hosts, Clinton and Ross, are amazing and the rooms are stunning. We stayed in the East Wing, which has a super-comfortable king-size bed and loads of space...

Two wonderful plays at the Festival but just as wonderful was our stay at Hughson Hall. Our wing, the breakfasts and our hosts were beyond our expectations. Clinton and Ross are truly outstanding hosts. We were very pleased with the extra attention that was given to our requests. For example, a plate of cheese was prepared for us after an...

Clinton and Ross were super kind and accommodating to our vegan lifestyle. We stayed in the West Wing and absolutely loved it. As beautiful as the photos are online, they don't do the room justice. We would love to come back and visit sometime!

We have stayed in several B and Bs as well as hotels in Stratford. This was by far the best experience; lovely and professional hosts ( unobtrusive and yet engaged ), delicious ( really, really) food and snacks, and the East wing is a beautiful space to relax and enjoy. We walked to town for dinner and will return to...

Upon arrival at Hughson Hall, I was greeted by Clinton, welcomed and taken inside for a quick tour of this impressive home. He carried my luggage to my room, the East Wing, and reviewed some procedures. Suffice it to say that both Clinton and Ross offer a refined and most comfortable place to stay. The delicious breakfast, generous hospitality and...

This was our second stay with Clinton and Ross at Hughson Hall. They consistently go above and beyond to serve their guests. From little things like coffee outside your door in the AM, to their guest refreshment area, excellent restaurant recommendations and outstanding breakfast fare. You'll have two beautifully designed rooms to choose from and you'll meet two hosts who...
