The Manor
This B&B is absolutely enchanting! Walking around the mature & manicured outdoor gardens allowed time to slow down a bit as we took in Mother Nature’s beauty. There is plenty of veranda space to sit on comfy cushioned chairs where we spent most of a day just relaxing then an easy walk to the downtown core. The inside décor is absolutely beautiful with many fascinating artifacts. Our room was spacious with a very comfortable 4-poster bed. This B&B is spotless and it is clear that our hosts pay particular attention to keeping the environment safe by sanitizing.

Breakfasts
I don’t even know where to start! The food presentation was so beautiful that it had us guests excitedly talking about the food before we even put a fork into it. All delicious! Elena didn’t miss a beat when it came to dietary needs whether vegan, vegetarian or allergy sensitivities…she did it all!

B&B Owners
We felt so special with Elena and Dom’s welcoming attention. Their gift of hospitality coupled with their diligence toward every detail of our stay made this, the very best B&B we’ve ever experienced. Thank you for a wonderful memory!

10 out of 10!
My husband and I enjoyed 2 nights at the truly lovely Birmingham Manor Bed & Breakfast. You can see and feel the love and care that has been put into this beautiful old manor home. Our hosts Elena and Dom are warm and inviting and their attention to even the smallest details were evident during our stay.
Our room was lovely and the bed super comfortable. Delicious, creative 3 course breakfasts gave us a terrific start to our day. The grounds of the property are meticulously cared for with a big wrap around front porch to enjoy morning coffee.
Highly recommend and look forward to visiting this beautiful home again.

Thank you Kim for your review, it was lovely meeting you and S. Thank you for noticing all the details and efforts we put into maintaining our home. It’s an old lady! Born in 1904…we love it and its history. Our gardens are a place of respite for us and our guests, as is the porch-a perfect spot for that first coffee in the morning! We hope to host you again on your next Stratford visit.

The house is comfortable and filled with beautiful handcrafted
Woodwork. The bedrooms are extremely comfortable, large, the bathrooms were updated and very nice.
Our hosts/owners provided assistance when needed and each morning we enjoyed a wonderful homemade creative three-course breakfast.

We couldn't have had a better weekend at the Birmingham Manor to celebrate my partner's milestone birthday! It was a special weekend from the the beautifully curated breakfasts each morning, to the thoughtfully decorated manor, and to Elena and Dom's warm welcome to Stratford. There is even a nicely stocked drink fridge outside the B&B rooms, with barware for guests to use. Everything was spotless.

We stayed in the Balmoral room and were so happy with the room overall - it was a great size and was the perfect mix of traditional charm and modern amenities. We also very much enjoyed the walks into Stratford downtown, walking specifically along Birmingham St which is filled with big trees and historical homes (including Birmingham Manor which is full of history itself!). Would certainly recommend staying with Elena and Dom for your next trip to Stratford!

We spent three nights at Birmingham Manor and couldn’t be more pleased with the overall experience. First of all the grounds are beautifully maintained and being able to sit on the veranda with a glass of wine before dinner and a play was very relaxing. The rooms are well appointed and spacious each with a different theme. The common areas are inviting and a good place to mingle with the other guests. And then there are the breakfasts. Each day we got to experience a delicious gourmet home cooked breakfast which makes Birmingham Manor a standout in our opinion and we have stayed in many B&B’s over the years. Breakfast is also served at one big table so you have to opportunity to talk with other theatre people about the plays which is why most people travel to Stratford. Our hosts, Elena and Dom, made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We have already booked for next year and we would definitely recommend Birmingham Manor to our friends.

Hospitality galore. Elena and Dom make you feel right at home and are completely accommodating. The rooms are very homey, comfortable, and ingeniously designed to fit in the private WC, etc. Breakfast is artfully prepared and presented. 8 persons around the breakfast table bring lots of interesting stories to the eating experience. Location is relatively central, with Stratford being a very easy city to navigate. We are very likely to return another year. L & P

My husband and I recently traveled from the States to Stratford, Ontario for a long weekend and stayed at Birmingham Manor. We were blown away by our experience! It was truly adorable! . The rooms are absolutely perfect-very comfortable and with great attention to detail. It was like stepping back in time.

Elena and Dom were perfect hosts. When we needed to arrange a later check-in, we were accommodated with absolutely no problem, even when we had to email that it was going to be later than we thought due to some delays getting across the border.

The front porch might have been our favorite feature. Every morning, coffee or tea is offered before breakfast and we made a habit of taking our coffee to the front porch to enjoy the beautiful weather and the nice neighborhood.

I would be completely remiss, if I did not mention the food! Each breakfast was a 3 course meal with fruit, a main dish and a breakfast dessert! We were so full after breakfast that we skipped lunch the 3 days were there. Elena was very kind to ask about any allergies prior to our stay and confirm again when we got there. The breakfasts were beautiful, unique, and most importantly delicious! We very much enjoyed getting to know our hosts and other guests who were staying at the B&B. If you are looking for a wonderful experience in a beautiful historic home in a wonderful town, we HIGHLY recommend Birmingham Manor.

From start to finish our stay with Elena and Dom was simply wonderful.
Even with Covid-19 protocols in place, our stay was restful and enjoyable.
Birmingham Manor is extremely clean and every detail thought of.
It is the perfect walking distance from the many delicious restaurants downtown.
(We ate at Bentley's for lunch, Fellini's for dinner and Mercer Hall for lunch- we would highly recommend all three)
There is no mistaking how much thought, effort and time Elena puts into the wonderful homemade breakfast.
We would highly recommend staying at the Birmingham Manor and hope to return some day soon.
