We've been to Stratford many times, and this B&B was our best ever. A group of five us spent the weekend, and Mollie and David were delightful hosts. David's breakfasts were fantastic, Mollie's suggestions were most helpful, and the rooms and house were as clean as a whistle and very comfortable. We'll definitely go again.

We come to this B&B annually. We have stayed at numerous B&Bs while visiting the Stratford Festival over the years and this is our favorite. Molly and Dave always anticipate our needs and meet them. Four rooms are all equally excellent. Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Large living room and dining areas. A back sun porch and a quiet front veranda. Dave always provides a delicious and unique full breakfast. I highly recommend this B&B.

We are always thrilled to see you at The Shady Nook and this year you switched up rooms and seemed pleased with the layout. I always like to discuss theatre with the two of you and was pleased when Linda took my recommendation to see "The Neverending Story". We are looking forward to celebrating your Wedding Anniversary with you next year. Mollie and David

From Mollie’s hearty welcome to David’s delightful breakfasts, our stay was fantastic. Mollie acted as a tour guide, walking downtown with us and pointing out the landmarks and places to eat. She really knows her Stratford — the plays and the Festival scene. This was invaluable for newbies like us. The icing on the cake was a dip in the pool and a sing song on the front porch!

Hello again David, Thank you for opening up to both of us and our UK friends on your visit here recently. You made them feel important and they helped you connect to your past travels and the locations in which you lived as a young man. I needed to show our city to you from a bridge that few get to cross and I was happy to go that extra mile to entice you seek out that direction yourselves ( when I am not there to guide you) The food and the music are such a key aspect of The Shady Nook B&B and I am pleased that you dove right in and filled up your soul and belly. Looking forward to your return.Mollie

Hello again James and Laurence, I apologize for not making more of your Anniversary for as you know I am capable of it if you let me. Thank you for choosing to "get away" from your home and celebrate in "our home away from home" and our beautiful city. We are situated well for walking everywhere and when the Tom Patterson Theatre opens it will be only be a 10 minute walk. We both enjoyed your insight into many situations and your sense of humour. I wish you many more wonderful years of marriage.Mollie
