Welcome to The Parlour Inn! Downtown. This historic property is located in the heart of the downtown and just minutes away from Stratford's business parks, Stratford festival theatres and adjacent to the University of Waterloo Stratford Campus. Fantastic dining room called The Parlour Inn Restaurant on site. Meeting and conference rooms available.
Star ratings are intended to indicate the general level of features, amenities, and services to expect. This property is classified according to Giata.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
I alway consult Trip Advisor and have rarely been disappointed. TA gave The Parlour their award for excellence and it is well deserved. The Parlour is well priced, in a great downtown location, and the rooms are spacious, quiet and comfortable. It has been YEARS since I stayed at a hotel where daily room service includes clean towels. In March, we stayed at Tru (a lower cost Hilton) and read when we checked in, that they only clean the rooms every third day! So, it felt very nice to see the beds nicely made up and bathroom cleaned with fresh towels and bars of soap each day of our stay. The only negative is that they should update the carpeting throughout the lobby and hallways. I’m thinking that’s coming up since they are having the halls painted this summer. We will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is really lovely and convenient to everything you would want to do in Stratford. Check in was warm and friendly and follow up texts from the concierge to check in as to how my stay was going were appreciated. The room was spacious and included soap, shampoo, etc as a well as a coffeemaker, bottled water, and fridge. A staff member checked in personally about turn down in the evening (with a rose). The hotel was very quiet and allowed for a good sleep. There is complimentary parking attached to the hotel (a definite plus) as well as a great restaurant attached and nearby spa (across the parking lot). The Avon and Studio theatres are a short 5 minute walk as is a wide variety of restaurants and Market Square. The hotel also provides a complimentary shuttle service to the theatres (those seeing a show at the Festival or Tom Patterson theatre might want to take advantage of this). Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and definitely plan to return.

Finally back to Stratford after Covid to be able to enjoy plays. We’ve eaten at Parlours before and decided to stay for 2 nights. This hotel is very well located and easy to walk to shops and restaurants. The restaurant here offers patio dinning and a beautiful sitting area inside with charm and ambiance.
Staff here were excellent and friendly from Ivy the text and front desk concierge, the men who checked us in and the cleaning staff who brought us the hair dryer that was missing when we checked in.
The only issue we had was on the first night when the town decided to paint crosswalks outside our window from midnight to after 4 am. Reminder to bring earplugs next time . This was not the hotel’s fault and when I mentioned it to Ivy by text, she apologized profusely and gave us a full breakfast pass for the 2 of us as compensation. We were delighted as we were going to eat there in the morning. The waiter was great and the food great though I found the potatoes too spicy with Cajun but that’s a personal preference. The waiter said if I returned , I could get tomatoes or a fruit bowl instead. Breakfast was great and the atmosphere was fantastic.
The room is very clean with two free bottles of water and fridge but no microwave . Wifi is strong and the bathroom is very modern with a strong flow shower with different settings. The mist setting was different that other hotels and I loved it. The soaps and shampoo were very good. My wife enjoyed the Nespresso machine 4 choices for coffee and refilled the second day. The bed was very good with 4 pillows and the room offers many plug ins which is good with all the gadgets we need to plug in these days.
Parking is free on the lot and with the hotel being so close to everything, it was appreciated.
We will return as we are Stratford fans! đź‘Ť

My wife and I had a lovely one night stay at The Parlour Inn on her birthday.
We noticed the lobby was still wonderfully decorated with a Christmas Tree and Holiday appointments giving it that country inn vibe. The front desk agent was very helpful, cheerful and accommodating.
The room was clean and in good condition. It had the quaint feel of a real boutique hotel. The bathroom was clean, bright and well appointed. The shower water pressure and temperature were perfect and the terry bathrobes were a nice addition. The bed was very comfortable and the room temperature was easily adjusted and kept us comfy and warm despite the frigid conditions outside.
We enjoyed the Nespresso coffee maker in the room and noted the fresh coffee in the lobby in the morning. Parking was easy and close to the hotel. While we dined at another downtown restaurant, there is an onsite restaurant with a menu and decor that was inviting.
The Parlour Inn certainly met our expectations and we had a wonderful stay for my wife's special day. We have nothing negative to say about our stay, so a 10/10 from us. We would definitely recommend the Inn to our friends and we hope we have another opportunity to visit Stratford and would certainly stay at The Parlour Inn again.

We stayed 3 nights and found our room to be very spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. The location is very accessible to theaters and restaurants downtown, and they offer a shuttle to the Festival Theater which is farther away if needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again.

The room has space, the tub is fantastic, and the service is lovely. We stayed here to attend The Stratford Festival, and the hotel provided a shuttle service to and from the festival grounds. We especially enjoyed the Nespresso Machine. Would stay here again.

Went for New Year's Eve. Very comfortable room and extremely comfortable bed. Staff efficient and friendly. Great location for downtown Stratford. Dinner was really good - good sized portions and very tasty. Nice New Year's celebration favours. They did not have the dining room open for breakfast as they were offering a New Year's Day buffet but they did deliver breakfast to us by room service. Will certainly return.

While attending three events at the Stratford Festival we enjoyed a package, room and dinner, at this historic inn. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. The restaurant dinner included was one of the best we've had. Restaurant and hotel staff are friendly and efficient. We intend to return.

We loved our stay at the Parlour Inn! Caleb at the front desk was amazing; sending a huge shout out to him! Our room was awesome...very comfortable, clean and spacious with beautiful furnishings and nice linens/towels, plus it was great to have a fridge and a Nespresso machine! Ivy, their AI, sent us a number of texts after our arrival, asking if we needed anything and making sure that we were enjoying our stay. This was a nice touch. The hotel provides a shuttle service to/from all the theatres. We didn't know about this until we checked in; we loved this service and especially appreciated it on the rainy night we went to the Festival Theatre. Thanks to our shuttle driver Dominic for his great drop off and pick up service! No breakfast included, but there’s a great restaurant on site. The hotel's location is ideal; it’s a close walk to downtown and a 2-minute walk to the Avon Theatre. Parking is free. We'll definitely be staying here on any future visits to Stratford!

Comfortable and quant and close to everything. Check in was breezy and Cozette was a delight checking us in, very warm and friendly and offered us any help we needed. Pleasant of parking as well on site. Our room was beautiful and historic, much like the building itself. Had many extra amenities such as shower caps and makeup remover pads along with the others you would expect. Towels were large and luxurious. The bathroom offers a corner shower which some may find small but I did not mind. This is a boutique hotel in a historic building so the size of the room reflects that. We would definitely stay again next time we are in town!
