Large enough rooms, clean, friendly staff. There was a problem with the water when we were here and it was as not recommended to drink the water but the office provided us with as many bottles of water as we wanted. Orange juice muffins and croissant for breakfast with either tea or coffee. Fridge in the room.

If you need to save money while you visit Stratford, this motel is perfect. Everyone is very nice and they do a great job of keeping it clean. The wastebaskets are nice and large so they don't fill up after you throw away only a couple of things. There are not a lot of frills but you do get everything... More

If you are in Stratford to see great theatre, the Majers Motel is the place to stay. You will need a vehicle, or a short taxi ride, to downtown but it's clean, affordable and the front desk staff are extremely accommodating

I stayed here for one one night for a funeral, and my short recommendation for you is to stay here if you are by yourself or if you absolutely cannot find another place. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, it was all very small. If my wife was with me, she would have killed me! The good...easy checkin,... More

You have to reserve way ahead. This motel is about as good as you can get in Stratford if you have kids. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly, location is good. There isn't much more to say here....the management tries relatively hard and the place is good enough for a day or two in Stratford.

We stayed one night at Majer's Motel. Extremely friendly staff. The grounds are neat and very well kept. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed. Would definitely return and recommend Majer's Motel.

Make sure you book directly through the motel because as I found out the hard way, Booking.com charges an extra $6. It's a good deal for people visiting from the U.S. as it works out to about 70 bucks US a night. Located at the very edge of town, not within walking distance of anything Room was hot; the a/c... This is my 3rd visit to Majer's and was not dissappointed. The price is right, clean rooms, nothing fancy, and coffee, tea, and pastries for breakfast. The grounds are beautiful, with tables, umbrellas to have a picnic and a pool as well. Just minutes away from downtown and the theatres.

This is the best place to stay that I've found in Stratford for under $100 US/night: just outside the city limits, it's near the Festival and Patterson theatres as well as several informal restaurants. It's clean, spacious rooms with Wifi and an outdoor pool.

We hadn't stayed at Majer's for about 20 years. They have done a lot of updating in their decorating scheme, but it is a typical motor lodge. Our room contained two queen beds and a small chair and accent table. There was a small desk, chair, and dresser. A small refrigerator was a nice addition to keep our beverages cold.... More
