This lovely house on the main drag of Stratford is withing easy walking distance of all of the theaters and the downtown area which is filled with restaurants. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast each morning was spectacular.
Immaculately clean and furnished; newly renovated. I had the king suite on top floor of the house (stairs) that had its own private balcony off of the coffee- (and cream-)laden kitchenette. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. BOOK DIRECTLY to save both them and you $.
Spent a Saturday/Sunday in Stratford to see plays., shop and walk by the water. Found a great little B&B with a perfect location - very easy walking distance to the centre of town and all the theatres. Very quiet despite being located on a main street, , comfortable beds and a balcony as an added bonus. , Was served a hearty breakfast with an unusual and tasty blend of Chinese and Canadian fare. Will defnitely stay there again.
No better location for Stratford shopping or walking to all four theaters. Very clean. Friendly Asian owners. Air conditioned. Off street parking. Simple breakfast. Secret: Ask for some Chinese breakfast items, very good!
Andrew and Birew are the Asian owners of this modest but comfortable B&B right on Ontario Street about equidistant from both the Festival and the Avon theaters. Not fancy but clean and neat. Four (4) rooms (each with their own bathroom) and a sitting room was a perfect setup for our group of 4 women... Birew prepares an adequate...not fancy...breakfast of eggs and bacon in the morning and offers spring rolls and wonton soup to go along with it. Pleasant stay...simple and adequate.
We have visited Stratford this weekend for a play. Have founded this guest house on line and booked our room. The place was of a nice location , house/room was clean and well kept . Breakfast was very good and lots of food , at least for me . Will consider it next time when we come for a visit.
Clean and friendly Bed and Breakfast. Perfect location for walking to all four Stratford theaters and downtown Stratford. Good parking, air conditioned. Combination of American and Chinese breakfast items.
This was our second visit to the Ambassador B & B for a weekend at the Stratford Festival. As last year, we were made very welcome by our hosts,, our accommodation was clean and spacious, and breakfast excellent. A great advantage of the Ambassador is its location between the various Stratford Festival theatres, and the town centre. Nothing is much more than 10 minutes' walk away. We always take the bus from Toronto and it works perfectly for us.
Stayed here for just the night to watch a play. The hosts are lovely and the house is very clean, homey and comfortable. We had a room with a balcony and separate exit so it was really convenient. We were extremely sad to miss breakfast, as they had a Chinese-style option but overall, we had a wonderful stay!
Hotel seams a lovely place, but we cancelled due to been in the wrong city, should have been a cancelation charge but the owner wavered the charge for us, he didnt have to do this! Andrew, Thanks for this and understanding our situation
