This is very nice, clean, quiet hotel. The beds were comfortable and had lots of pillows. It’s not a fancy hotel and it could use some updating but everything worked fine.
They are pet friendly and even have a grassy area for walking your furry friend.
I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews but we had no issues whatsoever. Our room was very clean and there was lots of hot water, no smoke smell or any other odors.
I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again.

We stayed here when my family was travelling through. This is an older motel with nothing fancy, nor is it trying to be. The most important part was that everything was very clean, well maintained and the beds were comfortable. The train tracks go right behind the hotel, however I didn’t hear any trains while we were sleeping.

We stayed here for one night and found the rate to be very reasonable. The room was clean with a super soft bed. Mini fridge, microwave and single cup coffee maker was in the room. Would suggest getting a room on the ground level so you don't have to carry the luggage upstairs.

Clean, neat, simple, perfect stop on my way. The area is quite, the rooms are big. The landlady is awesome, I really liked her. The shower curtain attacked me, but other than that I could strongly recommend. Very good value for this price.

spent one night here on a moto trip across canada. It was clean with easy entry and safe for a very nice price. Owner as very friendly with info on sites to see in the area. Its not the newest place around but very good for the price.

My son's heart /lung condition required that we move out of our house while the floors were being reconditioned. We were at this motel for 3 weeks. Altho it is beginning to show its age, you can also see gradual upgrades happening. Everything worked, we felt safe, the couple who run the place were quite helpful and accommodating. The weekly rate We paid was reasonable, and the location was quiet and close to anything we needed
To anyone in similar circumstances, or requiring extended - stay accommodation I would happily commend this motel.

Old carpet, bad odours, ugly decor, stained furniture, no hot water for a shower. It felt like Cuba...
I do not recommend this place unless you sleep in your own sleeping bag with your clothes on. On the positive side? The gentleman at the desk - his own apt. was very nice.

Holiday Inn Motel is an excellent choice for someone that needs just a nights stay in Thunder Bay. I came to the motel after driving through a snow storm. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean but could use a bit of an update. It had a TV, Hot shower, Mini Fridge, Microwave and Parking was provided. Only 10 min from the Airport, Gas and many food options are just one turn away. It was worth it to stay here for the price.

Booked overnight on the internet for this motel as most places booked out because of the Canada Day weekend. Motel room was clean, quiet and spacious but in need of a make-over. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
