We received a very friendly, warm welcome to this motel although a bit disappointed that we turned up at 5pm and the room was not yet ready. Owner did her best to get it ready quickly and was very apologetic. Like most cheaper motels, it didn't look like the place had been decorated since the 1970's but it was clean and comfortable. OK for a one night stop

I suppose I can't accurately review a stay at this hotel as I never got that far. I called to ask a few questions about their accommodations and was met with such a rude individual. She spoke to me like I was an insignificant person with a unfavourable lifestyle when in fact I am a married mother of 2 with a successful career and was simply looking for a cheaper place to stay while I waited to deliver my third child (I live in a small community that does not delivery children). I could not believe how I was being treated, ended the phone call, and am still rattled as to how I was spoken to. I do not recommend this place to my friends, family, and even people I may dislike. No one deserves to be treated the way she treated me and spoke about my family.

I would not recommend this hotel to a friend. The carpet in the rooms are dirty...you need to bring house shoes so that your socks are not black. The towels were clean but were tattered and not matching. The lady was nice but a little different. Went to take a glass from counter and it was still stuck to the counter. Bed was filthy and lots of bugs on floor. I slept on top of covers in my cloths

Owners do their best to keep noise at a minimum respecting other clients needs for a much needed rest. No complaints as everything works as it should. People that complain should go back to mommies basement. No job, no credit, no charge card, try social services. That is how the real world works! Have stayed here previously, handy location off the main arteries.

We booked thru Expedia, a mistake, We drove up to the motel in a residential neighborhood. The place was a rundown old apartment building with bums sitting on the second floor balcony, No one was in the so called office, however there were phone number written on a door to call. When I finally contacted, who ever he was, on the phone I was informed that they did not have a room and that Expedia had been advised of this fact. However, I am glad that we did not stay there. The property and cliental looked unsavory. Expedia should not recommend this property. I give it a minus 10.

we stayed for 10 nights while working in thunderbay we had a 250 dollar weekly rate and 55 dollar night rate we found it clean and quiet.the lady owner is chatty but helpfull with city directions and anything else we needed.the building is older but in good condition. i will recomend it to other people

Manager is owner and chambermaid with no respect for current or past customers, always complaining about her past custimers to new clients. We waited 3 plus hrs for our room to be cleaned by her, and she didnt do a good job. Microwave and fridge were digusting. Also she left her dirty cleaning gloves in the sink. Also she dresses gross showing her crack, to clients. This place is so gross. Dog pound is better run.

This motel should be avoided at all costs. The owners do not know how to run a hotel business. Everything is in dire need of maintenance, significant upgrading, and a good clean. There were hairs in the bed! The towels were wet - not sure if they were recycled or just not left in the dryer long enough. The microwave didn't work. No phone in the room. The only good thing I can say is that the location is nice, the lady owner seems to want to make improvements, and if they put some effort into it they could actually have a nice place but until that happens I wouldn't go near this place again.

My wife and I stayed for a month, every night the heat is shut off, very loud banging heard through floors and the owner & management are out of a horror story. Strongly do not recommend booking a room here. Plus many much nicer rooms available in close proximity.

This small, older motel is off the beaten path in a quiet residential area. Being a trucker, I always call ahead to ask about parking. They made room for me.
The room was clean and comfortable. They have Wi-Fi, fairly decent TV, a refrigerator and microwave. There were even cups, plates and silverware in the drawers.
The lady that runs the place is friendly and personable. She likes to chat, but will give you privacy if you need it.
Amenities are close by. Restaurants, shopping, entertainment, laundry, etc.
If you like quiet, a nice place to relax and sit outside and smell the pine trees and drink coffee, then this reasonably priced, clean motel is just the ticket.
Just be careful and don't run over the cat. She is the queen of the parking area!! 😺
