They very kindly accommodated my dog and I when another local motel did not have the courtesy to return calls. This is an older property but was very clean and very well maintained. A very quiet location outside of Thunder Bay.

It is an older hotel but kept very clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I have stayed here quite a few times now. Don't forget to bring cash as they have no debit machine. Safe travels. Cheers

Excellent services, Clean, Well maintained room and safe and nice place to stay near Kakabeka Falls in reasonable price. I found the decor of my room incredibly beautiful and relaxing. Everything was neat, tidy and well placed. I found the bathroom ok.

We stayed here ten years ago. Then it was a mom and pop place. It was great. Since then its gone down hill . Outside is unkept grass not cut, garbage out back. I saw a rat in the parking lot.

Inside the room the bed sheets were worn out. I found used condoms between the sheet . We were stopped by what appeared to be a hooker and asked if we had a smoke and if my wife and grand son , hes 5 needed her services.

Carpet was mouldy curtains looked burnt , tryed shower it had no hot water, no internet, , very poor, awful room ,iasked for our money back and was told what do you expect for $55, and told not a chance.

We found needles in the unchanged garbage can. We stayed and used sleeping bags.

We will never go there again.

Rooms were old, beds extremely uncomfortable. No telephones, a phone booth at the front of the driveway. No air conditioning. Carpets extremely dirty to the point feet were dirty. Locks not appropriate for a motel on the transcanada highway. Anyone could have come in. Sheets so,used you could see the mattress through them. Ivory soap bars left in bathrooms....used at that. No wifi most of the time. Room was never made up during our stay

My husband and I have been staying at this hotel on several different occasions and found everything ,clean, comfortable, and accommodation very satisfying. This family run business is very attentive to their guest needs and request promptly. I always and would always commend this motel to anyone heading to Thunderbay, Kakabeka Fall or Kenora to stay here.

This is a family business run to its fullest potential. I recently moved back to town in pretty rough shape, the has owner treated me like one of her own children from the first day I pulled in. I couldn't ask anything more of them or the accommodations.

They are friends for life and do business the way most have forgotten how to.

They would give you the shirt off their back to make sure that their guests are happy.

Book a room, for a night, week, month or year.

My neighbours I had while staying here became like family.

Highly recommended and I'll leave here with the utter most respect for the family and their business.

Bugs every where carpets felt wet walls felt ran down and they looked like they haven't been cleaned in 5 years. All the money the owners spent was on a tv curtains looked garbage did I mention the bugs? Every where you look there are bugs only come here if its a last resort. the washroom looks absolutely terrible i wouldn't take a shower if i was you. This place looks like a hooker house i needed to use my own blanket (and pillows) because how bad the bed looks the only good thing is the television but the remotes hardly work and its a inconvenience using them.dont come here except if its a resort.
