Stayed here during a work conference. There is a free airport shuttle - just be sure to ask where to meet the driver if you're arriving at the airport for the first time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The rooms were spacious, though there seemed to be an issue with the heating while we were there. Some colleagues mentioned their rooms being too cold, others said theirs were too hot. The beds in our room felt lumpy.

The conference meeting rooms were large and the food served was fabulous! Lots of variety and tasty too. There were fast food restaurants like Subway and Tim Horton's within walking distance - across the road and around a corner. There is also a Metro grocery store nearby. The rooms have mini fridges and a microwave.

This is a slightly dated building but overall was very nice. The room was spacious, well maintained, and clean. The pool area was nice but there are lots of kids. The hot tub was large but not very hot (probably because of the kid-friendly nature of the pool area).
The location was good as it was close to stores, restaurants and the TCH.

This hotel was clean and tidy. The restaurant had good pub style food, very good wings. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, check in was fast and easy. Having a free shuttle to the airport and back was a nice bonus, considering the price of a taxi in TB!

Right outside its sketchy. Too many people hanging outside the front entrance smoking pot, snorting drugs, and asking for money. We had paid $200 the 1st night stay and ended up with a room with a defected AC. The porter came and tried fixing the AC and stated that some rooms have working AC and some doesn't. So they resorted on givinf us a fan. The 2nd time we stayed in this place because it's whats only available, they placed us on Rm 311 and since the AC does not work, I requested to go to a different room: Rm 171. Again the AC does not work and they gave us a fan. The concierge refused to lower down the rate of the room and told me to pick a bone with expedia instead. He also suggested that I am welcome to check out and look for another hotel at 11:30pm with my 3 yr old and a senior traveling with me. Some of the rooms are occupied with people who lives in them and some rooms have electric fans as well. The hotel is equipped with a bunch of electric fans which means that they're fully aware of the AC problem but refused to fix it. If youre in Thunderbay, I suggest to avoid this hotel and find somewhere else where you: 1) would feel safe; 2) vehicle would be safe to park; 3) working AC; and 4) a concierge who is professional in the hospitality business

There were some great staff trying really hard. However the hot tub was cold, the other pool was really cool, and the wading pool was ice water. Pretty dirty as well. More control at pool needed. Poolside room super hot and no air or ventilation. Then the patio door was locked from the outside at 10, for security. I understand the reasoning, but more ventilation is needed. The lifeguard team on Monday did a stellar job however and kept everyone safe while having fun. The carpet in the room was really dirty and should be redone, so it matches some of the nice renovations that have been done. I was really hopeful to have a fun hotel with a good pool area and pool side room for birthday parties and staycations. I’m not totally throwing in the towel on the Superior Inn yet, but there’s room for improvemen.

I stayed in the business section where you need a swipe key to enter the hallway. The room was huge and very clean (with the exception of the toilet seat which was clearly missed). The bed was incredibly comfortable and I appreciated the full size, soft pillows. The room was also very quiet; no one running up and down the halls thanks to the locked hallway. When I first entered my room, it was incredibly hot (28 degrees Celsius) and it still hadn't cooled down past 23 degrees by the time I left the next morning - even with the help of an open window at times. I'm thinking this was more an issue from the guest before me than the heating system though. I wish there had been a shower cap in the room, a blow dryer with some power and a regular shower head with normal water pressure. I understand the "green movement" but it's the little things that make a difference when choosing a hotel. Last, but definitely not least, the front desk staff were amazing!! So friendly and helpful. This goes for room service staff as well. I will definitely be back!!

Decided to stop at this hotel after driving 16hrs all day. It was the only place not sold out…. Well now I know why lol. First of all, there’s absolutely no AC. When we walked in the room it felt like 100° and window was already opened. We called front desk up and he said that they simply don’t have AC and just fans. Whatever….

Anyways, there was blood or red stains everywhere!! Carpets, bathroom, bed. You name it. If you lift up the sheet of the best it’s covered in red and stuff and mud.

Was not a very clean hotel to say the least, and very very loud even for the 3rd floor. We barely got any sleep lol.

Would not recommend this hotel.

This “hotel”if you want to call it like that, is messy and expensive! I’ve never felt so miserable as I felt staying in this place for few hours during the night after driving for the past 16 hours from Toronto. Horrible experience! I don’t recommend this place to anyone! 😤
And I have a lot of photos that can prove my point! Please do yourself a favour and try something else if you are ever in that area! We asked the from desk if we are able to change the rooms because I was pregnant back then and the reply was: “All the rooms that we have are the same. And they are clean! “ If this is clean I will let you be the judge of that.
I was scratching all night and wasn’t able to sleep at all and you can see why! This is unacceptable from my point of view!

My spouse and I , We stayed for one night, we checked in very late from the road.
The receptionists were great , …but the rooms, the cleanliness was scary. I mean everything was so dirty and soiled, the sheets and the carpet and walls were appalling. Stained Carpet and dirty, bed frame dirty and stained , hairs inside the pillow ... so disappointed, never ever , especially for a hotel rated stay - this was looked like a forgotten motel from an old movie. And the price just topped everything it was 25% more expensive than a one night at a 4star hotel - unbelievable!!!
Do not recommend , to anyone , better sleep in your car !

I hate to give a bad review. But this is disappointing.
The room itself is good. Rug very dirty but that’s ok. Biggest issue is that we have an inside room, with the window looking out to the centre courtyard with indoor pool and water slide. The VENT is open directly to the pool area, so we can hear all the noise - kids playing, lifeguards yelling. And the room is very humid. Solution - ask for a room that looks to the OUTSIDE.

Another issue - the bar area was not clean. Sticky bar top and it smelled (more than the usual) of stale beer. Food was quite good.

Hello, sorry about the delay in response. Due to our classification we do not allow any non registered guests to use our pool facility. with a room rental you are provided 5 wristbands which must be worn by anyone entering the water. this is how we regulate the use of the pool. the area is also locked and only accessible with ya room key. I hope this helps.
