The hosts are genial and are there when you need them. We stayed for four days. The price was very reasonable. All the rooms begin with G: Mine was Gemini and it was very clean with plenty of space, a comfortable bed and enough outlets. It has a few pictures and a spacious, uncluttered feel. The good-sized bathroom had a...

The hosts are warm and welcoming and the location is quiet and convenient to public transportation. There are restaurants and shops in walking distance and a continental breakfast, with good coffee, is available in the pleasant gallery. I would definitely stay here again.

Holly and her husband are lovely hosts. The building is really great and the rooms large and comfortable. All rooms have a private bathroom en-suite except the Ginger room which we had but the Ginger room has a private washroom and shower in the adjacent hall way and it was really very private. To be able to have a clean...

I showed up late for check-in and received a warm welcome. The room was clean and comfortable and the location is very close to a fun part of town. I thought it was very neat that the family runs a gallery downstairs of some very cool art. Thanks for a great stay!

We very much enjoyed staying at INDEXG B&B. Its location in Toronto's Arts and Fashion District is excellent with wonderful one-of-a-kind restaurants and shops located nearby. Holly and Lee have found a great way to combine an art gallery with a clean and quiet B&B.

We had a group of 6 people staying at IndexG B&B while we were attending wedding celebrations in the area. It was the perfect place – quiet, intimate, with all the amenities. Holly and Lee were wonderful hosts, friendly and helpful. The attached gallery was an added feature. You could browse or purchase artwork and jewellery. This place had all...

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
