We were so pleased with Holly and Lee's hospitality that we would certainly return to IndexG whenever we travel to Toronto. The rooms were neat and clean, and adequate for our stay, and we stayed 4 nights. Brenlee Werner on behalf of the whole family.

Last summer, my husband and I spent our anniversary in Toronto. On our honeymoon the year before, we were planning to spend our last 2 nights at IndexG. Due to an accident while camping, where my husband suffered 1st and 2nd degree burns, we were unable to finish our honeymoon trip and had to cancel our stay at IndexG. The...

Tucked up on Gladstone just north of the Gladstone Hotel, in Toronto's hip Queen West neighbourhood, Indexg B&B is reasonably priced, comfy and impeccably clean. Holly and Lee couldn't be better hosts, and the art gallery downstairs lends the upstairs accommodations the feel of an unusually luxurious artist's garret. Highly recommended.

Our friends recommended IndexGB&B and we are so happy we were able to get a room. Gracious hosts and a lovely space. The art gallery and shop, which is also your breakfast room, is wonderful and a beautiful way to start your morning. And I bought some lovely jewelry and small photograph prints from the owners. Lee's images are fantastic....

Holly and Lee provide a peaceful refuge in the heart of the city. They are very thoughtful inn keepers - breakfast is surrounded by art of all kinds and, often, there are interesting guests who choose to stay in this unique setting as well. This is definitely a place that we would always return to. We wish you continued success...

My wife and I recently spent 2 nights at the IndexG B&B in Toronto. The room was great and the hosts, Holly and Lee, were wonderful. The B&B is a very short walk from Queen Street W and the tram and we were able to take full advantage of the location. It was very easy to get into downtown Toronto....

All the previous positive reviews about this little gem are so correct. The neighbourhood is changing but like most spots in Canada all pretty safe so we felt completely at ease staying here. Holly and Lee are very gracious hosts and the facilities were warm, clean and comforting. Remember that other hotels in the area can exceed 300.00 per night....

We arrived late at night in a taxi fom the airport and were a bit taken aback by the street and surrounding buildings as there's lots of construction going on but the taxi driver assured us that the area was ok and is an up and coming artistic area with lots of young people moving in. The B&B was perfect...

A light continental breakfast in the art gallery complimented my stay perfectly. The room & bathroom were neat & clean. I did not hear other travelers at all during my two nights at IndexG. Excellent location, right in the heart of the hippest neighborhood in the city. Cable car stop right outside, but a feasible walk to downtown as well....

We loved staying here. The area is great, with lots of great restaurants, cafes and bars within minutes, and the street car is two mins away. The bnb is really well run and cozy, and with automatic air con which was a bless on the hot days when we stayed. Holly and her husband are absolutely lovely and really helpful...

Staying in West End

Neighbourhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
