I booked the hotel room for a friend's birthday for a staycation. I found the location to be convenient with some good food around us. The hotel room itself was good. The bathroom felt luxurious, the bed is SO comfortable. The record player is more of a decor than something usable. They have a floor dedicated to records you can pick but when you actually plug it in-- you can barely hear the music. We were laughing about it because you literally have to be next to it to hear it. They cap the volume which makes sense for a hotel but it seemed a bit extreme. They were able to get us reservations for the rooftop which was lovely. i appreciated how prompt they were to satisfy our asks.

We loved our stay at the Broadview Hotel and highly recommend it. We were there for about 3 weeks while our home was under renovation, and the hotel staff was incredible!! Aarti, Morgan and their entire front desk team were kind, considerate and helpful at every opportunity. This is a well run boutique hotel, with beautiful decor, very comfortable beds, well laid out rooms and a great rooftop patio. Excellent with kids and dogs. Nice dog park behind the hotel, lots of parking, great restaurants and shops nearby. A gem of a hotel!

Go for a drink and the view. Service was great. The food was particularly poor. It was better when I was there before but seriously disappointing today. There wasn’t much choice and I am a huge fan of dim sum for lunch but not dinner. Ordered the kimchi fries and they were of the frozen kind. If this is all because of Covid there should be a warning to set expectations.

Dear rsquared2015, thank you for taking the time to review The Broadview Hotel on TripAdvisor. We are saddened to hear that your recent dining experience did not meet your expectations. Our Rooftop Menu has been redesigned to respect the Provincial COVID19 Health and Safety regulations allowing for fewer team members to share the kitchen space. We strive to do our very best to offer variety and tasteful plates, while also keeping in mind our customers needs and ensuring we're delivering on service and waiting times. We hope you will come back and give us another chance soon when our Fall Menu will be out! In the meantime, we thank you once again for your review. Although hard to read, this is what allows us to learn and do better in the future. Regards, The Dining Team at The Broadview Hotel

Such an interesting buiding with a sordid past! The renovated rooms were interestingly decorated (actually had a turntable! and vintage vinyl!), plush, and clean. We will definitely be back again soon!

Absolutely loved this hotel! The room was great; very comfortable bed, beautiful washroom, big windows with lots of light and lots of high-end amenities available (coffee, tea, chocolate, etc..). I also particularly loved the drink stations on the room floors, they are complete with still and sparkling water and tea. The lobby bar and restaurant are also fantastic!
