The house has a very good downtown location. It is well priced. I went to see Toronto and was sight seeing all day and could walk to most of the places. All other people staying there were very friendly and tourists like me. Would definitely stay here again.

I went on a trip in Toronto and this place is cozy and an excellent place to stay! And the house is centrally located, close to downtown so I found it easy to get around. Very clean, quiet and a very friendly staff made my stay very comfortable

The house is centrally located, close to downtown, Eaton Centre, Cabbagetown and public transportation. The house was very tidy and quiet and the room was excellent. It had a nice sitting area with a television. loads of closet space and a lovely large bathroom. The room even had a spacious rooftop patio, which I would imagine would be just lovely...

My partner and I stayed at the comfy guesthouse for 5 nights. We had a lovely stay, our room was cosy despite the freezing temperatures outside and the bathroom and kitchen areas were cleaned daily. Our host was kind and checked in with us regularly to see how we were getting on. Overall, a very good price for a great...

We did have a nice trip in Toronto. It is very close to Eaton Center, and it is very warm. I hope everyone will enjoy Comfy Guest House and Suite, since it feels like home. If I have chance to go to Toronto again, I will order Comfy Guest House and Suite again.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Comfy Guest House given the amount of money I had paid to stay. The room was nice with a large comfortable bed and the temperature in the room was controlled to a pleasant level without any user input. The hosts of the Guest House are very pleasant and helpful with any issues you may...

Thank you Vivian & Tahir! I stayed at the guesthouse for the whole month of november 2016 and I had a pleasant stay.  I really felt at home at the Guesthouse and in the surrounding neighbourhood Old Cabbagetown. The guesthouse had good wifi and kitchen facilities. I cooked my own meals there almost every day. I had one of the smaller rooms and I had...

Its centric, facilities manager Vivian is an awesome lady, good value, clean, nice common kitchen open for light cooking and fridge. No shoes allowed only in the entrance haha pintoresc i liked it. I would recommend tooth paste in the bathrooms and a permanent visa machine in the hotel or automatic debit from booking credit card.

My room was clean and with en suite. The wifi was fine but the cable tv was mostly unwatchable with only a few chandigarh, half in French and poor signal. Nice kitchen upstairs which you can use. Can get a bit noisy in evenings if people come in at same time but otherwise it s fine. Good location - within...

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
