I stayed here for just one night, but it was exceptionally memorable for several reasons. The staff - all of them - I mean each and every person I encountered - was just so friendly and helpful....it just leaves you with a feeling of "wow - this is really cool"; the room I stayed in was just so inviting and...

The room and location were amazing. Loved that I could look into the Stadium from the Room. Would have been better if a baseball game going on! Really enjoyed that the hotel was centrally located. Walking distance to cheap eats and fine dinning, also many attractions. Staff were friendly and approachable and both check-in and check-out was a great. Paid...

Overall, this was a nice hotel that is central to downtown. It’s a unique property, as it is essentially built into the Blue Jays Stadium. You can see through to the stadium from the lobby and some of the rooms. I stayed in the part of the hotel that had a view of the train tracks, which were not as...

I had an amazing visit here. I Stayed with a party of 3 and my room was huge. For a hotel in a city I was shocked by the the large amount of room. This is the best place for an baseball fan as the views of the stadium which are free for any guests are breathtaking. Staff were pleasant...

First time I have stayed at this hotel three weeks ago. I was upgraded to a large suite on the second floor. The room itself was clean which is important but the furnishings are old and the carpet is worn. The hall is really marked and needs paint. Perhaps higher floors are in better shape. The front desk was friendly...

The food is excellent and the staff are exceptionally friendly. Like a home away from home. I always have breakfasted there when I am Toronto and it is great, I have asked for a few minor changes to my meal and it is always granted with a smile.

This is our third time watching monster jam from the room and we love it. We have three kids and they love the freedom to move around the room or watch the show! The pool is great too! And you can't beat the location.

We've stayed here several times and always enjoyed it. Of course, very convenient for Jays games, but also for theatre and restaurants. The rooms are large, modern, quiet and clean. The restaurant is good and the health club very good. Overall a good choice if you are staying in the entertainment district.

I'm on the tenth floor this year. A good choice considering the GO train traffic down below outside my windows. The Renaissance is a very convenient place to stay in the downtown core and is close to the Metro Convention Centre, the site of my current business. My room is large, clean, comfortable furnishings and has an adjustable thermostat. It's...

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
