Everyone at the front desk & door were very helpful & personable. The rooms are typical for a large city; very small. The bathroom especially is not built to have 2 people in there at the same time. Quiet & comfortable stay. This was our second time there in 6 months. Parking situation is a plus as you self park...

Be warry when you book a room using your Google browser. I recently did this when booking this hotels listed above. When I went to check in they treated me differently than I have been treated before as I have preferred status at Hyatt and frequently use their hotels across the US and Canada for major events. They also would...

Everyone in the hotel was great and the facility is in great shape. Food service was great as well. Family loved everything about our trip. The location is close to many great attractions and easy walk to many spots and restaurants.

I can't imagine staying elsewhere in Toronto. We walked to CN Tower, Rogers Center, Kensington Market area, distillery historic district, and even the Hockey Hall of Fame and Loblaws to see the old center ice red circle at maple leaf garden. After each trek it was nice to return to our Hyatt room.

Was upgraded to a suite free of charge upon entry. All of the staff were super helpful and polite. We went to a Toronto Blue Jays game and this hotel was in the perfect location to both the game and the restaurant we went to beforehand. After the game we went out on King street and we walked back to...

Whoa, forgot to post about my awesome visit to this Hyatt Toronto! Let's start with check in, we got there late in the night after missing an early flight but we made it. The woman at the front desk, forgive me that I forgot her name since it's been so long ago, was very friendly and smiling. She asked what...

Make sure you understand I have a choice and always get treated as important when I use you competing hotels. Also I use the hotel every week not just when events are in town, but struggle to get rooms on event times, value you guests that use the hotel year round more

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
